Louis not lying when he says Lestat has a way about him and if I was Louis I would be putty in Lestat's hands there would be no saving me , remember that movie There's something about Mary well in this case it's There's something about Lestat 😂😂
He could still put on a stone and a half of weight.Lestat looks like someone sucked out his abs. Still has a nice ass. Saw him in apair of loose green shorts with one foot on a chair. His leg was like a skeleton's. PINTEREST has so many nice pictures of Sam Reid as Lestat. He is on another television show called NEWS READER about news casting in the 80s in Australia. Sam was born in New South Wales Australia. There is a YT video documentary of the behind the scenes of INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE that runs for around 41 minutes. It goes into all the different fangs and eye contacts they wear. Love the costume design. Think it shows how Lestat drops poor Louis from thousands of feet in the air. The church where Louis was made into a vampire was a real 150 year old one.
@@demontrash They have to. 😅 It's a pretty big plot point in the second and third book. Plus they're already setting it up with how he's such a great musician and a total peacock (that's mostly shown in ep7).
@@demontrasheventually yes the showrunner said that he and the other writers are focusing on the first 5 books in the series Interview with the vampire The vampire lestat Queen of the damned Tales of the body thief Memnoch the devil
Best part about how great you guys are, is anyone who watches your unedited livestreams still has to rewatch your edited versions because you slay commentary and editing humour ❤
This show is sooooo fucking good. The writers took the books and simply elevated them. The genius move to make the retconned and inconsistencies that Anne Rice created into "the main focus" of the show. Memory is a monster, perspectives can change everything, everyone is unreliable because everyone's truth is different. This was the episode I truly started to not trusting Louis, I'm on his side but I don't trust any of these characters, and I know that they're all simply bad.
😏; I can understand why Louis is so into him too... (Even though Lestat basically forced him into the relationship!) Lestat has been working on Louis mentally from the first time they met... Using vampire telepathy, mind tricks, throwing his money around, seduction, major love-bombing etc. *Lestat- "How can i say no to you..."🥺☺(and, he would say Louis's name after almost every sentence.) ➡Lestat stalked Louis before they met, then he went to all his regular hang-outs to try and get with him.(that's why he was there with Miss. Lily, and at the card game.) /📍I believe Louis loves him, he just always had resentment for how they got together.
Yall dont know how much you brightened my day! The way I could not stop giggling throughout this whole video and I am just SO happy you guys are enjoying it as much as I did. Can’t wait for the next one!!
I don't have AMC and believe it or not after a painful year of searching I finally found it. I binged watched all seven episodes in two days. ah Lestat never disappoints. Loved him, I'm a sucker for pretty guys and that body, Lord! I would put up with all his verbal, toxic outbursts and manipulation 😏He is perfection
Like straight up y’all the whole reason Anne rice wrote the first book was because she and her husband were watching their only child die of leukemia and the infighting and sadness etc and then there’s this wonderful exercise of what if I take my story of human bullshit and give it to these eternal monsters of the dark to sort of play with dynamics here and see what we think of these very human indignities and this toxic situation like soooooo Lu CC fun living for the whole opera worth of drama and like the writing the prose I can’t lol I am sold
lestat is not good but neither is louis thats the show they both have this inner struggle with morality and i love them both so much... pls keep an open mind to the chararcters its very complex show youll enjoy it the more you watch bc more and more gets revealed as you go
Episode 2 thoughts - Lestat is too much. He doesn't tell Louis about the sunlight; then he has the nerve to carry him up the stairs to seduce him ! from Louis having to pretend to be his valet and feeling obligated to eat the singer. It made me realize that his vampire life is not so different from his human life and that this is supposed to be the honeymoon phase. What are your thoughts?
Then in episode 3 cheats on Louis in front of him, then laughs in his face when he asks if he's enough :( After allowing Louis to have an open relationship, too, he follows and watches Louis with Jonah; he gets jealous. That alone is creepy .. then again, he's been stalking him since episode 1 lol Do you really think Lestat would have allowed Louis to be with someone else if there wasn't any feelings involved?
I love that there’s that sad moment we see Louis fully reject and like throw in lestats face that he will always be alone and he will never love him and I ask you look again notice never once has he told lestat plainly I love you lestat has his grand romantic church wedding essentially for Louis in his darkest hour trying to shatter his illusions that this god somehow will ever love him or offer acceptance he shows him he sees him and loves what he sees Louis over and over and over when lestat shows his truest nature is constantly rejecting him Is my very nature that if the devil? He’s in a huge shame spiral his mother is very aware of his other nature but also she is quite judgmental about his gayness and he just wholeheartedly takes his family’s rejection and throws it all on lestat as if it is his fault lestat screams I heard your hearts dancing because this hiding in the bayou with his first love and showing his acceptance and sort of flaunting his wealth and affluence that is very much due to him being a vampire which he’s using to flirt with Jonah in exactly the same manor as lestat he’s giving his family money the same as lestat did him and yet he hates lestat and lestat just loves him with his whole self and is constantly being rejected by his love and Louis is in his own way so cruel as well but he cleverly layers in his own transgressions in this subtle subtext like sue is very much telli HIS STORY
Follow up he’s coming back to this story again 50 years after telling his petty post breakup version and now we kind of see more of the truth where he clearly loves lestat in the way he tells it yet back then? Hmmm
; Lestat is way too jealous to be playing the open relationship game!... ~He cheats with Antionette, but he don't want Louis seeing anyone else!... tf!🤷🏽♀👎🏼
Lestat was using Antoinette as a ploy to get Louis jealous enough to eat her and embrace his vampire nature. That's why Lestat seduced her IN FRONT OF HIM. He wanted Louis to act as possessive over him as he does over Louis. He wanted Louis to prove that he wants him. Especially, since he mostly seemed to ignore his vampire instincts and Lestat in favor of his work. What you were witnessing in that episode was basically a housewife’s last-ditch effort to make her workaholic husband stop neglecting her.
@Struggle Skywalker 💭 Yeah, But Lestat was messing with her, so he should've got rid of her!... (I was thinking, Louis must be a good vampire because there's no way I would let her be touching my man!) -She would've got throwed out the dam window or something... lol / ➡️ No, but I would've been talking sh*t day and night, Lestat would've brought her there with her head chopped off, just to shut me up.
@@andreabrantley6951 you're right. But Louis also never spoke up when he needed to and like you said, if it were you lr even if it was me Lestat would have been had to get rid of Antoinette. But Louis never told to get rid of her so Lestat never did. That's the main reason he Never got rid of her even after Claudia told him to. Because LOUIS was not the one telling him to do it.
