ironclad sadly won’t be able to fit a vulture. in the q&a they stated the height of the cargo bay of the ironclad and assault would be 7.5m which allows the prospector but not the vulture or srv
And here is the problem with this game. They should really stop making ship and focus on fixing all the problems and bugs, also adding more actual content.....
@ShinigamiAnger after playing xenothreat all afternoon, yeah. I would love them to focus on gameplay and bugs. I can't tell you how many times I teleported into deep space unexpectedly. Even so, I still fully intend to pick up ships I think are neat.
@@Frank-costanza yeah we all love ships of course, but bugs are getting out of control, some are just too big to justify being still in game, at this rate they'll never deliver a polished game. Also, more content = more fun. I'm just saying this for the sake of the game, I get your point.
Once blades come in, the M2 is going to be a hell of a potent ship by chaining the chin gun to the pilot. Large cargo, durable, armor and weapon storage for days for either the crew, or shock troops you're transporting.
Cool video, quick comment on the torpedos. The Perseus currently has the second most torps of any ship at 20 s5’s. The Vanguard Harbinger can only hold 3 s5’s. The Eclipse is pretty stacked where it’s at with the 3 s9’s especially when you consider how small the ship is and the ability to rearm on the go once we have the Liberator and Kraken in game. That also means on a Kraken you could carry several Eclipse and other fighters to escort those, that’s a lot of firepower for the number of players needed to carry out their role.
Was looking at the constellation Andromeda sale and it says it comes with a p52 mustang in the flight bay. If that's true, the sale brings another $25 asset to melt down so it brings the price down nicely. I may end up buying it as. I wanted to upgrade from my Cutlass black
It's weird seeing the Vulture and the Reclaimer in the list (maybe to clean up the mess after Xenothreat?), but imo these are the most interesting ships offered!
I still have hopium for Vanguard modularity, mainly because the Hoplite used to be the odd one out, and CIG then made all the other Vanguards use its model. The Vulture won't fit in the Ironclad due to height restrictions. It's a fun ship though. Would fit on the Liberator pads instead.
100% agreed. If you look at the side by side of the Lib and the Ironclad….. the door for the Ironclad is the size of ONE pad from the top of the Lib. And height will still be an issue. People trying to use the IC as a carrier are going to be disappointed. I don’t know why no one likes the Lib. I can’t wait for it. And when it’s loaded you have 3 ships, 4 vehicles (the image that struck me was 4 Spartan class vehicles at once AND 450ish cargo. Where if you put a vehicle in the IC…. You’ve also used up your cargo space.
Theres a few things that no one is talking about with the Hercules series vs the ironclad: 1 how the iron clad series only has one opening for vehicles to unload through when the herc has 2 which means your vehicles take more time to get off making u more vulnerable in a place like jump. 2 boarding a herc is borderline impossible because u just hold elevator to where the iron clad looks like its going to be way easier 3 everything is linear for the herc so with engineering its not gonna be as difficult as it would with the iron clad. 4 The iron clad is going to handle horribly in atmosphere but i think its going to be rough in space as well, the herc series u can comfortably solo pilot it and run in ert and hrt contracts which makes it flexible. Besides the cargo space the iron clad isnt going to be a god send like everyone is hyping it up to be. As for the tractor beam, if thats genuinely the one thing thats better across the board but they could very easily just add it to the C2 to balance it if they so choose. I'll give them credit on marketing the ship but the fact no one is skeptical about how its just "iron clad beats the herc in X Y and Z" And if your going for a carrier type of ship the liberator is the way to go. But just remember if u get attacked while in ur vulture all ur RMC is vulnerable because ur liberator is just sitting there which opens u up to people sneaking on board or just taking ur ship. As for the reclaimer its kinda a work in progress and to my understanding is going to be redesigned or a new layout for the interior, plus when drones get implemented the reclaimer will have them.
Having a single opening would matter if there weren't three size two tractor beams capable of carrying every vehicle and ships up to the size of medium. Tractor beams that the C2 and M2 don't have limiting their cargo abilities drastically. Of the M2 and Ironclad Assault one can bring two tanks the other can bring 5. Even if the ironclad was "vulnerable" it still would take 3 m2's to add that firepower to the ground assault. I agree on the solo piloting but only for the c2. The m2 needs a second person or it's just a c2 with higher hull hp. We both agree the ironclad is no godsend. what it is, is a really good multirole ship. As I said in the video all 4 have a purpose, the m2 a bit less but still. You my friend sound like you are a bit protective of the herc series to the point of overlooking a few more of their flaws than the average person. The liberator is marketed as a carrier. Neither the ironclad nor the assault are marketed as such. Its just an idea that us speculators thought up. The vulture might not even fit in the ironclad when it's all said and done.
Let's not kid ourselves, no one is saving money. We will CCU to our favorite ship and realize that our ships stink upon game release. We will melt our ships and pay full overpriced pop for a new ship.
You might want to look into what can fit in an Ironclad height-wise. I have already heard one creator say that the Ironclad will not hold a Prospector or a Vulture because of their height (I think it may have been Grim).
They also said the garage would manufacture items by size, but they never said what size it could do. People thinking they can repair their ships are high on hopium, vehicles are size 0 and ships size 1. The very likely scenario is it will ONLY repair and manufacture S0 vehicle components.
The M2 is perfect valid solo ship during fleet operations. It flies still pretty solid, you get away with it decently well, can even do ERTs solo if you have too, but most importantly you are an asset, instead of an liability while still being able to carry a lot of stuff. It's just something different than a Ironclad and the Ironclad seems to have a better value in terms of dollars. But the M2 is a great ship to buy ingame anyway, even with the increases prices.
Kinda sick of the back to back "special" sales. It wears you out when you want to care. World of tanks did the same thing and every other week something else special was happening
They're hurting for money and ain't getting it from me till they fire half the company, sell Chris' yacht and hand me a sq42 demo to show wtf they were doing with our funds for 3 years. "Calling our shot" was over a month late and 50 PCT less than they predicted. Any content creator that is apart of this shady cig kickback program, gets ignored by me. GG.

My BMM, which I didn't even want, is now $85 "cheaper" thanks to this XT sale.
If you don't want it, I'll take it off your hands.
Nah, sunken cost and all that. Now I'm already committed. 😂
The sunken cost gets us all!

Man with all these ship sales I've really filled out all my chains. They'll need new ships for me to chain to.
And here is the problem with this game. They should really stop making ship and focus on fixing all the problems and bugs, also adding more actual content.....

thanks for all the info as per usual
Thanks for the updates, the CCU game info really helps me figure out what ships i want to get.
Wait, how do I play the ccu game for the f7c mk ii?
I dont see any warbond upgrades cheaper than it.
That spirit is looking real good. Right in the sweet spot.
We need to get more Vultures and Reclaimers out there, place is a mess. 🤣
Another step closer to me finishing my ccu chain! Let's go!
My chains have improve a lot with all of this! 👌🏾
I have over 9 chains going and have to put them on hold. Cash is getting tight.
May an abundance of cash flow your way soon!

Starting out in the game heavy armour was my go to. Have been tending toward medium of late, purely for the additional movement speed.
do you know if you need to do the oveerdrive missions first to get the armor? or just the Xeno.
Nope have to do all the overdrive missions first then do XT

Finished my fleet this sale. Worked out well. ❤❤
Good content.

Keeping my eyes open for more during the event

The potential for the Vulture+Iron Clad Assault is something I am eager to see as well...
It doesn't look like it will fit but we'll see in the finished product
Surprised that no ares fighters were on sale, but vulture and reclaimer.
Let's not kid ourselves, no one is saving money. We will CCU to our favorite ship and realize that our ships stink upon game release. We will melt our ships and pay full overpriced pop for a new ship.
it would have been nice if they changed the alien salesduring the week. I really wanted that railen on sale.
You say you can currently get the F7c at $125? on my CCU game page its saying there's no chain. How'd you get it for $125?
The Tana is one of my favorite ships.
Nice and informative
I have heard that the prevailing theory is the M2 will have better atmospheric handling over the Ironclad
Well, time to CCU chain myself to an Endeavor haha
I really like the retaliatory.. I’m debating whether I should melt my C1 for it.. I tried out the Hoplite for a few days and it was amazing.
man i was hopping for a 600i but they did not put it up for sale
I stick with heavy armor. It seems to reduce the chance of a tiered injury happening.

I only picked up the m2 ccu, I already have the other price brackets covered for my bmm.
you can do hrts with the c1 pretty easily

Still waiting for some new upgrades. But good to see plenty of warbonds this month.
I grabbed a m2 ccu and thst will eventually turn into a liberator
I was hoping for a warbond to the Reclaimer.
Nothing like spicing up Alien Week with an anti-anti-alien ship sale!
All the ccus in the rainbow, it’s like ILW never ended
I'm over here waiting for my buyback tokens
XT let's goo
nice
you say it like the guy from Forgemasters would say "I Kill Ya"
Terrapin to railin ccu fir the win
Where is my 890 jump lol
I just want a Zeus armor... but... no luck
I'd rather start with a Cutlass Black + an ROC, rather than a Vulture. A lot more flexibility and an entry pathway to Multiplayer gameplay.
Thankfully my wallet is safe from this one
as a ninja u should take the eclipse
I wish is it had more torps... Then I would. My alt will be all stealth ships when the game is finished.
Pfft... If it's PVE FPS ,I usually go light armor , tractor beam, backpack, and knife.
I love the Assault Ironclad but i am not gone buy it.
If youre above $180 youre a whale 😮 If youre above $500 youre off the walls! 😢
comment for the give away
