A month before his famous Test debut in 2011, soon-to-be Australian star bowler Patty Cummins makes his ODI debut against South Africa as an 18-year-old.
Nobody could've expected this guy to win the ODI World Cup as the captain of Australia. But he did!

Couldn’t be further from the truth. The way he used to twist his spine before releasing the ball led to a ton of injuries early on in his career, so it definitely was quite a “strained” action. He later changed to a much straighter action which is quite visible now.

I remember having watched the series... & one of the few things I can recollect is Pat Cummins’s bowling. Was fascinated by his bowling action & it looked awesome. Bowled really quick. Now he has modified his action a bit to avoid injuries...but his earlier bowling action was a sight to behold. That quick run-up and a long leap before the release of the ball. Oof.
His old action looked radical and required a lot of fitness, and he right foot slide may cost injuries but now his action is aggressive but more relaxed action
