My interpretation is that the 'Chilledren' refers to everyone. The refrigerator refers to the fact the children are so well 'preserved', having never encountered enough pain to make the love real or love at all. The coldness and the bitterness, can refer that a lot of our world has become so emotionless due to technology. The 'rotting garbage' in the beginning could signify that they were always told they were special, and finally they're realizing that they're not that amazing. Since they believe they are not special, they automatically believe they are bad then. And thus kill, steal etc. knowing they can get away with it. i was, effectively, a child the first time i heard this song. most of the "children" this song talks about are now adults - we have all become "Mr. Chilledren", and we're all just as woefully unprepared as the song predicted. Here's my interpretation. These "chillederen" were once bullied and turned to a life of juvenile crime and bullying which they commit on other kids and in turn these affected children commit crimes to even more kids. That's the same boy, but why wouldn't she hurt HIM? Keep in mind that she gives Cinderella (Miku) a glass slipper that shatters and digs into her flesh for stealing, and 'spoils' (I think cuts up? The PV showed cuts, so let's go with that) the skin of Rapunzel (Luka) for selling her body. It's worth noting that Boy L appears in both of those songs, too. In Cinderella the Thief, he catches her stealing (And though she acts innocent and he walks away, I believe that he told the witch) and in Enkou Rapunzel, he grabs hold of Luka's bag. In this song, he notes how he 'tightly grasped a butterfly', and in Enkou Rapunzel, she says 'A sweet butterfly spreads it's powder until they are satisfied'. I'm not saying Boy L bought her, not at all, but he definitely found her. I believe he's ratting out these criminals in exchange for his safety from the Witch. Just my thoughts ^.^

I think that Len, as one of the said "Chilledren" is looking for justice, after being neglected and treated badly by adults. This causes him to become murderous, and cold. When he refers to "words coming out of these dry mouths, know nothing of the future" he means the Chilledren, being oblivous to what's really out there. Neglected and left to become cold in a refridgerator, as the song puts it. The song also says "When the door's closed and it grows cold, we'll finally go bad, we're Chilledren." This means being neglected by the adults, causes the Chilledren to be bad (evil) and become dark, cold, versions of themselves. When Len compares, the world to a refridgerator, he's saying how dark, cold, and hard life really is. Meaning that those oblivious Chilledren, won't grow up to be able to handle things very well. He even says that "The number of children cutting their wrists increase" showing that they can't even handle things now, themselves, at this point. Len mentions killing being forgiven because he's an oblivious kid. I think that he was trying to say that if adults keep going on how they are right now, young, oblivious kids, might go crazy and become murderes because they don't know any better. He dabbles in talking about shoplifting, and commiting crimes, and how the the age for crime is lowering, too. This further proves this song's point, it's trying to convey that parental abuse can affect kids in bad ways, and it needs to stop before the kids will quit snapping.

Yeah, this is a true problem.
So there are three types of people, a cinderella(thief), a witch(punisher), and a chill(lol)dren. Len is a chilldren, the 'innocent' one, Rin is the witch, who punishes the bad kids(the thieves basically), and Miku is the cinderella. This series is a view from all three perspectives. (Btw this is a three part story and theres a song by Rin and Miku for this as well)

I have a theory on this song series:
Len committed some crimes so the Giga Cartoon Witch came after him and attempted to kill him, but Len managed to strike a deal with the Giga Cartoon Witch; he must warn other bad children to behave or be killed by the witch (which we see him doing in 'Cinderella The Theif' and 'Enkou Rapunzel') this theory would explain why the Giga Cartoon Witch said he was a 'good child' and wouldn't be killed in 'Giga Cartoon Witch'.
Idk if this is already a theory or even canon. >w

I you don't know the lyrics, me, personally, I would think this is about refrigerator pirates or something. But if you know what the actual lyrics are, you start to see that this song is about how fucked-up society can be.
When you grasp its real sense it makes you beak down in tears... All those poor children whose hearts have been frozen due to lack of love, thus becoming "chilledren"...
And the sight of Len holding a butter-knife (which, as everybody knows, has no razor end) smeared with butter... damn, it really made me cry because of what it stands for... Children, as the song says, can become killers too. But all they need is a warm heart that gives them the love they need to melt the ice... to get out of the fridge... :'(

How does about half of the people here not get this song?! IT'S SIMPLE: Children were treated selfishly by parents, adults, etc, and became cold hearted, bitter, and murderous. Truthfully, this is a very logical occurrence in the world, OUR world, that seemingly no one fixes. Why? Because this is the one of the very secrets of the world our PARENTS keep. Now, just HOW do they expect us to improve such an immature mistake?
I think this is talking about inadequate government policies creating 'bad children', and the only reason why it hasn't devolved as much as Len says is because they're put into the 'freezer', or the law constricts them from moving according to how they want. However you cant preserve things in the fridge forever so it all goes bad in the end, or rather, the children all end up bad once they enter the adult stage and are let loose from the laws. The first part of the video might also be talking about how good children get corrupted because of the government and society.

Ok so the first part might have instead been talking about how children growing up in society have to step on others and take others things to become comfortable, with the government rewarding the rat race and allowing such things to further themselves, and in the end all those who wish to just live comfortably have to harm others, hence becoming as bad as the rotten food in the fridge
i was, effectively, a child the first time i heard this song. most of the "children" this song talks about are now adults - we have all become "Mr. Chilledren", and we're all just as woefully unprepared as the song predicted. I'm sure the newer gen will be able to relate as well, but there's just something special, i think, about having been there, the kids the song sang about, knowing things were deeply fucked up back then, and watching in resignation as they only keep getting worse.

Here's my interpretation. These "chillederen" were once bullied and turned to a life of juvenile crime and bullying which they commit on other kids and in turn these affected children commit crimes to even more kids. It's a vicious cycle of how bullying can actually change kids for the worse and even kill them. At least that is what I'm piecing together. But regardless instrumental is great, has an epic rpg feel and well. Len is pretty adorable.

Okay, so apparently this song is tied with Giga Cartoon Witch, Cinderella The Thief, and Enkou (Compensated dating) Rapunzel. I think that while the Witch does indeed punish the bad kids, this Boy L (I'm assuming that's his name in this series. Len) is the one finding the criminals, in exchange for his own life. (Remember, he mentioned not only getting away with murder, which may have been example, but admitted to stealing bread by threatening a little girl. Definitely qualified.) Remember how at the end of Giga Cartoon Witch the witch (Rin) gives Boy L a 'sweet candy' (lollipop) and says 'Look see I'll give you a sweet candy. You're a good kid, so I won't kill you'? That's the same boy, but why wouldn't she hurt HIM? Keep in mind that she gives Cinderella (Miku) a glass slipper that shatters and digs into her flesh for stealing, and 'spoils' (I think cuts up? The PV showed cuts, so let's go with that) the skin of Rapunzel (Luka) for selling her body. It's worth noting that Boy L appears in both of those songs, too. In Cinderella the Thief, he catches her stealing (And though she acts innocent and he walks away, I believe that he told the witch) and in Enkou Rapunzel, he grabs hold of Luka's bag. In this song, he notes how he 'tightly grasped a butterfly', and in Enkou Rapunzel, she says 'A sweet butterfly spreads it's powder until they are satisfied'. I'm not saying Boy L bought her, not at all, but he definitely found her. I believe he's ratting out these criminals in exchange for his safety from the Witch. Just my thoughts ^.^

It's all based on perspective. True, the world seems bad, but if you step outside of yourself and look at things from other standpoints, you'll probably find that it's rather satisfactory. It could certainly be worse. Also, most of a person's belief is based on what they say and hear, and less on what they figure out themselves. We hear negativity in the news nonstop, so what else should a person think other than negativity? Simply saying you can relate to this song makes your situation worse.
