Vlog#1 First week of July. Something new I'm trying out is a vlog short what is going on for the week in the garden and some timely updates on some of the projects. I would love to hear some feedback on this type of content.
Tropicals great time to do everything to them!
Olives same thing.
All board leaf ready to be trimmed and carved.
Pine should be done needle cutting.
Almost time for another round of fertilizer.
Water, water, water! or shade!

Hey Tom-
You bet'cha yeah! Love the window into personal collections, local shows, and club activities. My only pick of the almighty nit is: I will welcome the day a wireless mic becomes available for vid production. Appreciate all your efforts in keeping the bonsai blazes burning bright from SoCal and wherever you find yourself drawn to tiny trees! Thanks again!
I have a wireless mic. It’s doesn’t play nice with my other recording equipment. I also want a dual mic upgrade
Well dogGONE it!😐
Thanks Tom...regular updates would be great..
You got it!
Great collection. Thank you for all your great videos. Happy 4th. Cheers from Ojai Bonsai
Happy 4th!
Love this video! SoCal resident here and I feel very informed 😂 see ya soon!
Have fun!
Loved the update. Thank you for the heads up about the meeting. Questions.......how do you control your weeds with straight dirt on the ground? Do you get mud everywhere when you water or does the water stay contained because of the watering system? How come you don't have 8 million spider web's everywhere?
Ahah lots of hand weeding. Pedestals have mulch now.
👍👌
Thank you for watching
Tom, in an earlier video you said that a Chinese Elm won't ramify unless the branches harden. What did you mean by that? Thanks
I wait until they harden off before trimming.
Are some of your trees/pots buried in the ground? Does it help with faster growth?
Not buried but just placed on top of soil line. Gives plants the chance to escape below. For quick growth
