About Cağ Kebab

Cağ Kebab is traditionally made with high-quality, fresh lamb. The meat is marinated simply with onions, salt, and pepper, allowing the flavor of the high-quality lamb to shine through.
Cağ Kebab grills horizontally over the fire, rotating by hand until the meat changes color from red to brown.
Cağ Kebab was invented in the eastern Turkish city of Erzurum and has traditionally been grilled over a wood fire with hand-rotated skewers since the 18th century. This gives the meat its signature smoky aroma from the wood fire.
