The shilling is on another level now... geez Chris. I don't see any science in this video, just line charts... And the charts aren't really comparing anything of substance? Is this science or just the marketing material put into graph format?
Nice test. The specification of 180C seems to be realistic. 👍 It would have been nice if you had talked briefly about who was actually behind the Bonka brand. Some of us (german) pilots suspect that the german company MyLipo is responsible.
Bonka is actually behind many other brand hobby lipos. They just don't usually market themselves publicly. They didn't come out of nowhere. They are well established as a high performance lipo manufacturer for many industries.
First time I heard of Bonka was from Colafpv. At that time mylilo didnt have bonka. Only once they became more popular they got into more stores like mylipo and hangar15 as well.
These batts are ok. I prefer the gnb1300hv (purple)over these. Similar performance. These sag about the same. These are slightly larger than the gnb packs also. The gnb batts are 25.00 from speedy bee. I spent 32.00 on the u2 pack.
i got some of the bonkas and i noticed that you need to be very careful when you get to low voltages they dont recover much when you are at 3.5V you will be at 3.55V after landing they are zooming i use them with the aos supernova motors :D
I’ve been flying Bonka U2 packs for some time now, the 1100 6S to be specific and I think they are great, only 180g for a 6S is decent and the power true. I haven’t lost one yet either. These sound impressive once again
@@willpowerfpv3246 - and it's actually good. They leave an air cushion which in reality won't help a lot when it comes to hard crashes, or puncturing packs... but it's good to have that little pocket of air inside, just when we handle batteries and throw them around in our backpacks.
Oh, those are from Mylipo. I used to fly Mylipo Parcour. They were rated 50/100C, but 100 % comparable with R-lines from that time which were rated 120C. And much better then any other super high C rated lipo. They were expensive. But that was okish when dealer in my country had them. They were not selling well because people were only looking at numbers. 50C? Meeeehh. 😑 Bad for many thinking that way. Shipping from Germany made them even more /too expensive. I still have few packs 3-4 years old with hundreds of cycles and still working good.

Why are we not comparing to the tattu r line 1400 vs a 1380 bonka? Would have loved that as i use them and difference would be interesting :)

I think Bonka is just an OEM for Mylipo. Or was, as they seem to fade out their own branded batteries and carry Bonka branded ones instead.
A true 180C rating would mean you could fully discharge the battery in 20 seconds without hurting the battery.

I need these batteries in my life 😅
Great video!
The link gave me - 502 Bad Gateway error
That's bonkers
The Energy Density is why I stick to my GNB purples....
Best battery he has ever testing.. make sure you click that affiliate link!!!
That Bonka link posted in the description doesn't work for me.

So do you only recommend these for FPV racing pilots? The reason I ask is because of your comment at the end maybe I misinterpreted that.
Can you check out some HRB lipos? They are good from my tests and not too expensive.

can you do similar test on larger batteries such as for RC cars?
Wow... Pretty impressive results indeed, Chris! 😯
Thanks a bunch for all the testing and comparison!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Is it me or does it looked puffed?
I don't think it looks puffed. Tattu packs have that same effect from the tight wrap.

Lol, I was thinking the same.
Ah, nice, it comes pre-puffed

Omg if they made one to have small pack for 10" like 3500mah
I don't think they send it to the USA...
im getting the same, untrusted website..

@@chrisbee5481 ... I know.
plz throw this on a quad with your motors and do a flat out high speed run and see how fast you can get a 5" up to.
so many sponsored content in a so tinny time window =)

Long Range battery testing
Let's think about this. The battery has an XT60 connector. rated at 60 amps. Knowing this now explain discharge rate.
Pffft...🤪
Thanks for testing👍
Is the battery link down?
It's not, but Kaspersky (and few other anti-virus tools) is flagging it as "untrustworthy website".
Cool got me 3 of them coming. Hope they hold up this summer.
You must have ordered the remaining 3 that were left after I ordered 3 lol
