Just bought this printer. Immediately couldnt feed filament. This video was very helpful. Thank you.
Great vid. Woke up to nothing coming out of the nozzle and thought it was oozing inside . So immediately tore it apart to find the gears grinding filament to a dust. Turns out i just had a clog that went away after i cleaned out all the dust
@@KronicDaydreamZ that had to be ALOT of dust lol
@Noobie3DPrinting it wasn't as much as I expected. thought it was just clogged till I felt the filament going inside still.
@@KronicDaydreamZ NEVER a good sign when it still feeds but you don’t see filament coming out the end of the nozzle lol
Life saver. Thank you.
Thak you so much i was having trouble putting the head back to gather after i had a massive massive fail
@@SoDakZoot If my video was able to assist you thank you so much for watching and hopefully it was able to help you get your printer going again!
@@Noobie3DPrinting it did my massive fail was the pla came out of the nozzle didn't stick to the build plate and flowed up the hot end and went in-between the hot end and the fins pulled off the rubber cover to a true mess
@@SoDakZoot o geez that sounds like a not so fun time…. The some time troublesome side of 3D printing isn’t always the best especially if you have to spend $$ for a repair
@@Noobie3DPrinting no but it teach me how to repair my printer
@@SoDakZoot always a great skill to have!
Thank you! This helped immensely, and I got snagged basically everywhere that you did/pointed out so it was nice to see those weren't issues with what I was doing or how I was putting it back together :p
Edit: oh I also marked the wires and the plugs for them with metallic sharpie, so each one has a different color per pair, and the metallic stands out really well :)
I’m glad I could help in some way! 😁
This was sooo helpful! Thank you so much for making it!
Glad it was able to assist ya!
The tiny screw to remove the red board won’t budge at all! So i cant reach the screws underneath… any suggestions to remove it?
Being a allen you can put a little bit of torque on the allen to break it free. So my suggestion would be put the allen securely in there and then give it a little convincing with putting and adjustable wrench or vice grips on the allen for leverage. I can't believe it myself but I have had to do this with a small m3 or m4 on a printer because I swore it was locktited in.
@@Noobie3DPrinting thank you
@@nicolagut5794 I know it isn’t the fix all answer but it worked for me. Hope it helps you! Good luck with the repair and happy printing!
I like it :D
That little cord is the worst 6:19 can't manage to take it out on my own
