I just purchased two AGM batteries and there's no maintenance. I keep it charged with a smart charger that communicates via Bluetooth. In my opinion LITHIUM batteries are overrated for folks like me who don't, and won't, use solar panels.

I agree they are not necessary for most that don't use their RV as often. Most of them cost $800 to $1000. This is why I agreed to review this one as it cost $499.00 the cost is not going to be justified for all. And if your not using solar you may not see an advantage
