GREAT JOB you guys! Just found your channel. Yeah, good job shooting, editing, audio, music, etc. It's NOT always easy, I know. Responding to comments alone takes HOURS, right?? I really like the mix of quiet / campfire / cooking with other stuff. I'm in St. Paul, MN and going full-time in two years. "The Wall" will be my first stop. Yeah, it gets WINDY and CROWDED, but you found a good spot. Anyway good job, keep it coming and THANK YOU for all the effort on here. Big fan, new sub. 👍😊👍 - Jim
Thanks Jim, oops we just made your channel grow more lol I figure its worth it, you bring a great perspective on life and its dark days. Keep up the fight We love camping up north in Minnesota!
I was so so happy to see your coverage of The Wall! We were planning to go out west in August and canceled our trip. Crowds were part of the reason along with traveling with 3 dogs 😮! Pi Rat Terrier would’ve been chasing prairie dogs. And, I’m with you! No crowded RV parks.
We were most worried about Lulu running off the edge of the camping spot. We didn't really let her out in the areas of the Prairie Dogs, she would have for sure tried to catch them. It was a beautiful day out there, just definitely a bit too crowded. Glad you enjoyed the video, I was worried I didn't get enough recorded since we had little time there. Thanks for stopping in
It was pretty cool, the next one though.....can't wait to get working on that. We also will be doing a full feature later in the year of the entire trip with lots of bonus footage (things like taco cakes and surprise friends ;p)
@Live2dayWanderland we have camped in Sturgis SD love the big open sky a lot of shootingstars in August. Looks like you guys had a great time. I love it out there.
Ahh man good to see you, hope you had an awesome trip, 2 months is pretty amazing. Thanks for stopping back in, we have a few episodes for you to catch up on lol
Can’t wait to get out there looks amazing, definitely more people there then I would expect but it was only for one night. Carry on friends and safe travels.
It would be awesome out there with a small group, thanks brother, hope we can see you guys at the end of the month. I got Cheryl on the hunt to see if we can set something up
Thanks Teri!!! it was better than I expected once we got up the next day and got to drive around and explore some. We definitely want to go back one day, Jack loved the prairie dogs the most lol. Thanks for watching!! hope you have a good week
If you ever get down towards north central KS, let me know. Would love to say howdy! I'm going to try and go over to NE this week, if I can shake my cold.
@@teripittman We definitely will, I wish I had known, we came back through Kansas because my cousin and Aunt and Uncle live in Rose Hill so we stayed with them one night on the way back. Next time out for sure we can try to meet up. Not sure if you follow our page on Facebook but that is usually where I try to post where we are pictures etc feel free to message us anytime on there as well. Hope you are feeling better soon, its been one of those years, I have been sick several times and more than normal.
Absolutely loved the cinematic opening. I mean, you guys do a tremendous job with your footage, but this video in particular really stood out! What beautiful scenery. 500 miles? Dude. Grab a cocktail 🥃Cheers! 🥤
Great video. Many places in South Dakota are fascinating to visit. Lots of little exciting homesteads and towns. The Badlands has become a go-to spot for camping during the summer. Still a beautiful spot, many other places to camp in South Dakota are more remote and secluded. I enjoyed your video!
Thanks so much, yeah we definitely need to explore it more. We want to do the black hills next time, I am sure we can find some more primitive stuff, this was a good stop for an overnighter
When were you out at The Wall?? I was just out there on 4th of July!? I just put out my Badlands video and show my spot I had on The Wall…gorgeous sunset and sunrise! 🙌🏼
Hey man, yeah I was watching your video earlier today, lol funny, we were out there middle of June, I think it was the 13th. I'm behind on editing lol. It was beautiful out there wasn't it! Definitely want to go out and explore more for some other boondocking areas
@@Ontrail82 Awesome, thanks man, we love it up there, I have a few spots I know of but always looking for more. I think we prefer Minnesota in the fall and Winter to be honest lol
I saw another youtuber say that BLM was going to limit camping sites to 70 spots there on the Wall. Did you see that to be the case when you were there? We have travel plans arriving on a Saturday in September and I'm getting a little concerned we wont' be able to find a spot.
I have not heard anything about them limiting it. We spoke to a guy there who said he counted around 85 rigs. I have friends that stopped there recently on a Friday night and it was not that crowded. I actually think that maybe during the week it's busier due to people traveling cross country to a weekend destination and only using it as a quick layover which is what we did. I think you might be ok. I would say definitely try to get in there as early as you can. Thanks for stopping by 🙏❤️
this august will be my third time there , because i have a large fifth wheel and based on your whining it seems you think i shouldnt be there ....only people with tiny little cheap boxes like yours should be allowed on the wall
@@GeraldSnapp lol sorry you felt offended. I could care less who goes there, I expected it to be more off an off-road spot where not everyone can get to. I had just driven 500+ miles finally found a spot and then another RV pulled up right behind us within about 10' of our bumper. No big deal we just prefer to take our cheap box deep into areas where most can't go. We have 125,000 miles on our cheap box and I park it my garag, save gas and time because I can roll out and go at a minutes notice..I'm tired of rude inconsiderate people at the state parks etc hey hope you have a great time out there! Thanks for stopping in
Love old towns like that. Really like the old scout

I like the aspect ratio. I just moved to 2:1 for my off-road and camping vids. I’ll keep the how-to’s at 16:9.
