250+ galaxies and over 18 trillion planets. This game is one of a kind. Easily...easily easilyyyy my favorite game and more than definitely the best game of all time in its genre. This game is just straight up MASTERPIECE
It's not a masterpiece, a lot of things aren't working properly, and the interface is horrible. As for "250+ galaxies and over 18 trillion planets".... boring...all they all start to look the same....and they're lacking building and cities, all planets are very empty.
Why do we keep messing up the numbers so bad? A galaxy is a star in the middle of a series of planets. We learned this in like 3rd grade man damn. Now please just divide your numbers one more time..
The best beginners guide on the internet, and I have watched several. The others are good, but too far advanced for a new player like me. You respectfully dumb it down in a way that I can understand it. You also make it fun and have a great UA-camr voice. I listen to you in the background while at the gym haha +1 subscriber
Thank you - a big thumbs up to you Jason. I'm binge watching these as I haven't played for ages, they are by far the best NMS tutorials, like the last ones you did a year or two ago. Love how you don't over complicate things for newbs like other UA-camrs do. 👍👍👍
Brilliant series by the best and most knowledgable No Mans Sky player ever. Brilliant narrative and 100% enthusiasm. This series should come with the game! You are being spoiled.
I LOVE this series thank you so much. I have to disagree with you on target sweep though. Its easy enough to find the target if you really wanna skip it but I find grabbing a few resources here an there on the way to the target is a nice way to always have resources and not have to commit to a big grind.
You can go to the space station and your claimed ship would be available there without repairing it. Then you could scrap it without investing any effort.
Make sure you talk to the people on the Anomaly in the order it asks you to. I did not and now it seems to be bugged. It just keeps telling me to talk to the guy you sell planet data to and i have talked to him several times.
Hey Jason thank you very much for this series. Total newbie. I watched the episode and missed the opportunity to fix the damages ship and sell it. Is there any chance to get back to it? Right now I don’t know where this damaged ship was exactly.
haven't played yet, thinking about buying it.. but really curious on something.. if you can teleport from system to system, why not go to the station in the 2nd system and just teleport back to the first system instead of using your ships fuel? or does it still use fuel even if you teleport?
While I'm woefully late to the party, I just have to comment on the "Just isn't worth refining" and "You're gonna be stuck here for x minutes" comments. First of all, yes, scrap might not be worth it because ferrite dust is everywhere and it's also dirt cheap to buy, but the Viscous Fluids and Living Slime are absolutely worth refining, as they refine into nanites, which, especially in the beginning, are hard to come by. And second of all, you don't have to stand there and watch the paint dry, or in this case, time to tick down, you can do other stuff. In the beginning, you can plop down a refiner next to your ship when you land and load it with carbon and Fluids or Slime and let it refine while you do other stuff you came to do, and when you unlock the portable refiner, you can refine them on the move inside your backpack.
You can refine junk when you need to make dinner, then watch some youtube with dinner, or need to do other stuff and dont really need the pc/console atm, sure its no fun staring at the screen so i understand that part hehe
One galaxy can have more than one star (highly unlikely) but each dot on that zoomed out map is a galaxy.. move a few times and count again for me lmao😂
Wait, is it true that you unlock everything purchasable at the station blueprint vendors through the story? I don't remember ever unlocking the personal refiner through the story, for example.
@@thesmartI Right, that's my question. He says that everything purchasable on the anomaly can be acquired through the story instead, but I don't remember getting everything through the story.
Can someone help me with the graphic settings for my pc, I have an acer nitro 5, gpu- gtx 1650, my screen is bugging out, and it’s really messing up my play through, someone please help me!!!
hi to jason i have ran in to a glitch where im turning in the final phase optional and the game hard lock after it asks u about your save going standard i reluach the game and load the save file and it hard locks agian do u think hello game is aware of this ps thank you for taking the time to read this
Bro you gotta come correct this game is a universe with over a quintillion planets, each “solar system” containing 1-7 planets. That leaves for trillions of galaxies technically speaking.
ok thanks.. i think you just answered the question i had watching this (haven't bought it yet) was wondering if he could have just went to the station in the 2nd system and teleported back... guess you can.
@7666 Oh, I was talking about the old red fighter with the Z-95/X-Wing vibe. It just didn't have S-foils. lol I missed out on a lot of premium ships back in the day.
In his credit, he has mentioned more than a few times, in this series of turorials, that he primarily plays this game on console. He's also expressed apologetically, that he's not terribly familiar with the PC keyboard layout. I'm sure he's not intentionally neglecting the PC players. There's probably a reasonable resource to help you somewhere in a Google search. Hope you enjoy the game, it's a lot of fun.✌
*New Hard Challenge for Jason* *Interceptor / Pirate Dreadnaught Mission Challenge* Game set up: Setting sliders all set to max. contents deleted upon death. blue prints known. tutorial disabled. Story: Upon game initialization you get in your space ship that is already fueled and ready to go. Polo says: Thank the heavens that I am able to reach you! Pirates are bringing down the Galaxy! You must go to dissonance system or you too will be extinguished. You must get interceptor ship from dissonance system to defeat the pirate dreadnaught freighter take control of it and save the Galaxy! Polo is counting on you to restore the Euclid galaxy to ORDER! Fly to dissonance system. First dissonance planet you find you must land your ship on it immediately. (exception: abandoned dissonance systems like weird style planets with only a single fauna allow you to fly to a new dissonance system.) If you don't realize this until after you land your space ship, You must delete all materials collected from this planet and then you're allowed to use your starter space ship to find a new dissonance system. However running out of warp fuel still applies. (This is the only exception to using a regular space ship more than once) Regular space ships can be repaired or bought anytime / however can only be launched from landed position a single time. Once landed you must abandon it. Interceptor ships only can be flown / landed as many times as necessary to complete the challenge. Interceptor ships are immuned from being tracked by pirates. If attacked by pirates for any reason, no matter which type of space ship you're in you must defeat the pirates, no buying them off or fleeing them. (it's allowed to flee sentinel forces in air or on ground) On dissonance planet you can do anything you want, build out space suit using pods on planet, access any building, build exocraft any kind including minotaur. But you can't call these in you must build base of the exocraft to bring it in. You can use user created portals on dissonance planet to jump from location across single disonance planet (can not use portal to warp to any space stations OR any location outside the disonnace planet you are on), build as many bases as you want. But you can only use portals that are on a single planet, not for travel to pirate system space station(s) etc. *Rules may change* BONUS: Complete the challenge in less than 3 deaths, take control of a Pirate Dreadnaught Freighter while also having a stack of 9 Salvage Data in your possession in your space suit inventory or your interceptor ship inventory. I tried it and died a little over 11 hours into it. Good luck to anyone who wants to try it.
the personal refiner solves the problems of the portable refiner and the slimes are an easy way to get nanites
I'm a brand new player love this game, and i'm learning a bunch from your playthrough good work man! and thank you!
I’m loving this game too atm I played at launch but damn it’s good now it feels slept on, you should add me let’s play together
I am also new in this game and love it. Thanks for all the guide videos, learning much faster then from official tutorial. Good job 👍

The system you started in is 3 times farther from the core then the Andromeda Galaxy (A real galaxy) is wide (Its 220,000 light years wide).
I’m glad I’m watching this cause I don’t like watching story so this will explain it to me and how to go about it.

Nice series, but can you include PC keys not just console buttons. NMS has a large PC user group that this series is ignoring. Thanks.
Go to the settings there's full control menu in there.
