I’ve got this working on my Wing Rack (using the new P16HQ), but the levels seem very low. I have to turn everything to near max on the P16, while my channel faders to the main mix are gained perfectly. Is there a way to raise per-channel gain to the P16/Ultranet sends only? I’m using an SD16 for the interface, over AES50A.
Thanks Drew. What are advantages/disadvantages of sending signals to outputs 33-48 directly from sources instead of using User Signals? Also agree with the need for tutorials on using the Midas DP 48 with the Wing Thank you @DrewBrashler
Off topic question, sorry. I am having the issue where my floor monitor bus fader is controlling FOH volume level. I've got the bus set to pre fader and I still can't figure it out
So an interesting twist I put on this… I have two p16 loops. One on AES50a and AES50b. This allows vocals to get stems instead of every instrument but keep all vocals channels. The other p16 feed is a vocal group and separate instruments.
I actually came to the comments looking to see if anyone has asked about this or done this themselves. I'm assuming you just assign different channels to these outputs on each of the AES50 connections? What stage boxes are you using to accomplish this? I'm wanting to install a separate Ultranet universe at FOH for the media and video teams. We do a lot of spontaneous worship, and we manually type a lot of lyrics in ProPresenter- so the ProPres volunteer needs to be able to hear the worship leaders clearly.
I changed from x32 to wing, but using my old s16(2 units linked). When I connected , the p16s, they had the configuration of x32, and when I try to re configure the p16s it doesn't go. I should I do?
Thank you!! I think this may solve a problem that I’ve had for a while…. We’ve had our P16’s routed straight from our AES and not the user signal… this works fine for live performance but it does not allow our band to utilize virtual soundcheck from the W-Live SD cards. Instead, only the audio from our BUSES/subgroups pass to the P16’s during virtual soundcheck playback but the individual channels/sources do not. It looks like the user signal will allow audio to pass to P16’s during virtual soundcheck?… which would be great for the band to get a chance to really dial in their P16’s.
I have this set up but my musicians are claiming that when the bass player plays or the kick drum is hit, it compresses all the sound coming out of the P16. Not sure why that would effect what they are hearing in their ears.
Hi Drew. thx for your vidéo. sorry for my english im frensh guy. i make my first date with wing and im little desapointed. i have dont find how to make my effect in post mixbus fader send like the X32 default can you make a vidéo for explain that ? clearly i want to have a master fader send for my effect and when i try, all mix bus fader is a fader return. only solution i find put effect in insert to channel 39 to 42 and assign outpout mix bus to this chanel . thanks for your answer i hope its clear ^^
@@hypercalm23 I think this is the best way. Send Metrix or DCA to P16. for Vocals I will probably send Lead separate depending on your setup and preference. same if you have a lot of guitars that will share a channel.
Do you have P16 connected to an ethernet input? :) The video does not show that something is connected to the AES50 A / B / C, but you can only see that the same cable is connected to the ethernet input on the console) Maybe I'm wrong
My Brother! This is a Volunteer nightmare. Why would they do that? No ULTRA NET?!! 🤣 Lets just make this geekie console more annoying to setup. I wanted to upgrade our console to the new black Wing or the Rack but this is just annoying. I already have those 16 output being used to route audio to other destination AND the P16 Ultra Net for all Musicians. So We have to buy an extra stage box? Hey! that drummer is a P16 hog...
Also, would be great to see a video demonstration with the DP48 personal mixer and the Wing. Thank you for all your videos! 😁
First of all I loved your presentation on X32 with P16
Thanks Drew. Can we see one for the Midas DP48 as well? There's so little out there

is that Compatible With QSC Digetal Mixer?

Thank you @DrewBrashler
If you send directly from the sources, you’d be sending your signal pre dyn, eq, fx, etc.
Did you find a way to follow mute in user signal?
Like it to mute in ears when I mute a channel

Hey drew, is it possible to send sources to the outputs with out sending it to a user signal ?

@@JGoodin On the WING it's easy, as you use 37-48 on each AES50 output section and assign accordingly.
I’m using a x32 rack for my stage box off the wing . Do I need to set up the p16 in the x32 rack first ?
Good morning, why is my output c link to my broadcast wing behringer always failing? I have change all manner cat cables still having the same issues.
Can I use the Stage box and connect my P16D?
Thanks for this video. Is it possible to set up 2 Behringer Wing Consoles sharing a Midas DL251 stage box?
Could you demonstrate how you assign the play and pause button and where is the audio coming from?

I have an xr18 and a p16. I would like to know if I can get my signals to the p16 after the EQ.

Did you connect the cat5 cable from DL32 AES B ? or From the MIXER AES B ?
The cat5 from the p16 is connected to the ultranet at the back of the dl32.
Thank you for your videos! Could you make one on DP 48?
Can I use the S32 stage box instead of DL32?
What if I need more than 16 channels but don’t want to buy 2 p16 is there like a Pmore than 16 or something else that has more than 16 channels.

Is it possible to route fx to the p16 ?
I routed all my FX buses to a matrix and sent that matrix to user signal to P16.

Drew please can do a video Top Down Mixing with Behringer Wing Mixing a Pop Song. You can get free multitracks online.
Dear drew brother our need degico. Avids6l and SSL digital console tutorial videos. We hope you give us tutorial
It looks like they made it way more complicated then on the X32
i did not understand anything
