Your channel is possibly the highest quality educational channel on UA-cam. You've mastered the black art of presenting complex things simply, and you've done it with one of the more arcane and bullshit-filled topics around. Your videos separate the wheat from the chaff so clearly, and those clear yet smooth Flash-like graphics are top quality, and nostalgic too! They remind me of the old internet. It's like you're reaching directly into viewers' brains. Your videos should really be licensed as a teaching aid - not even for missile courses - but to demonstrate proper presentation skills.
Not so much that as the voiceover audio quality is poor. A better microphone or perhaps a better recording environment may help. The accent doesn't really help either but not much you can do about that. Where you both from anyway? What really matters though is good information which you guys got. Where do you usually source from? And how do you feel about the SM-3 Block IIB? If it truly can intercept ICBMs then Aegis Ashore becomes something different entirely. Btw what programs do you use, particularly for graphics animation?
Well, that makes it a lot more complex. About sources, pretty much everything. Some information is from analysis that was made as not everything can be found online. Regarding SM3 IIB, considering its small size (compared to GBI) i think it's unlikely it will be able to intercept the most capable ICBMs with a *high* *kill* *probability,* but for the least, it will be able to take out the less capable ICBMs. With that said, its still a few years into the future and there haven't been too much talking about it so its tough to accurately judge its capabilities yet. This specific video was animated in HitFilm, but I also used GIMP for photo editing and Assembly (IOS app) for making the 2d models. All are free.
My fear with the IIB is that it can be deployed at Aegis Ashore sites in Romania and Japan which would greatly upset the strategic balance once, if, it's developed. Being based so close to potential launch sites would give the ABM a significant kinematic advantage I would think. Though as you said we know next to nothing about it besides vague desired capabilities. Do you guys plan to make the move to more professional software like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, etc. I'm trying to learn Premiere so that once I grasp it I won't need to learn any other editing software. The cost is an issue at times, perhaps I should have started with free stuff first.
An early interception before re entry vehicles separation would indeed reduce leakage, but also by reducing the number of missiles required to intercept threats (no need to intercept decoys and MIRVs) and might increase the kill probability overall because the target is bigger and warmer. (the jet of the rocket motor of the boosters or bus warms things up) About aegis ashore, maybe, but I can't give a definite answer. BTW, I wouldn't be surprised if SM3 IIA has a chance to intercept ICBMs if those are in early flight stages before KV separation and maybe even SM3 IB... I've already switched to after effects. The next video (hopefully we will finish it this month) will be edited completely in it and the models in illustrator. Anyway, if you already got the adobe stuff then just stick to it, great programs with a ton of tutorials about them on the web.
What if the incoming MIRVs also have maneuvering controlled through a seeker radar based on the interceptor missile motion. Also, what if the MIRVs have stealth capabilities e.g. metasurfaces.
Good, hope this channel won't end up like those A-10 is better F-35 one. And you better have some voice over to work out. other then that is a great video.
Early nuclear history nuclear bombers go with fighter aircraft for protection for the bomber. What will happen if icbm carrying kv use same principal against kV. Interceptor against interceptor (Terminator against Terminator). Now I truly understand what is the meaning of Star wars defence system.🤔
This is a very optimistic look at the missile defense system. In the real world more likely than not 70% or more will get through and with saturation type attacks its almost a guarantee to be successful.

This is really really well done! Thanks for doing the research and putting this together. Looking forward to more! :)
My pleasure;)
Really fantastic work, narration needs a bit of work but you guys have real potential.
Thanks
Is the problem with the narration that it is simply hard to get what is being said?

Great video, keep up the excellent work! I absolutely love the animation, too! :)
Great video!
thanks

Call your sister for the narration
If it has never worked, how can you say “how it works?” Don’t you mean how it is supposed to work.
Good education
Does sofisticated decoys have neutron emission?))

Please, get someone else to narrate it for you.
