Amazing how S23 Ultra easily beats the 15PM and P8P (overall - some features dominated by the 2) considering it was released in February!!! I'm pretty sure the S24 Ultra will easily beat the 16PM and P9P.
Thanks for being honest, CJ. You're one of the rare reviewers saying the truth. Yes, you picked the 15 Pro Max as YOUR choice because that really is your choice being a long-time iPhone user. BUT you also gave the honest answer that the S23 Ultra IS the best phone of 2023 considering its overall specs and features. Some people here though misunderstood you hehe. S23 Ultra really is the 2023 smartphone considering a lot of long-time iPhone users switched to it and they overhauled their entire ecosystem (Macs to Windows etc.) which is great. If you want a free and open garden, get out of that wall, so they say...
I just switched back to my 23Ultra from my 15PM because I don't like how iOS 17 has been a buggy release...seems android isn't. I'm loosing confidence in Apples ability to keep it going without having to send updates out constantly

As one who is in both Samsung and Apple ecosystems - I agree with 15 Pro Max being the phone of the year. The battery life is outstanding, screen is bright and beautiful, and they made very smart decisions with the design. I doubt they will be my favorite next year - especially if Samsung makes the needed improvements on the Fold.

I think its more of because the iphone was just recently released so the honeymoon phase is still there whereas with the s23 ultra, its almost been a year since it was released.
I bought a 15 PM switched from Samsung, I love my choice but I’d say the Pixel is the most improved and most interesting phone of the yr, the AI features are really really cool!

I’m currently trying to decide do I leave Apple and go android? It’s been a while since any phone has peaked my interest and the folds have really made me excited to get a fold. After this video I might just make the switch
The only thing I don't like about pixel fold is the vessels, they make it look outdated. And the designs is similar to the Microsoft surface duo

I feel like the most underrated tech for the year are the Sony xm5 earbuds. The noise cancellation on those are unbelievable - the best I've ever experienced and even beat the over the ear headphones from Sony, Bose and Apple.

Too many limitations with the iphone . I started with the iphone Years ago . I first transitioned with the samsung s10 plus and then now my s23 Ultra and next year z fold 6. The s pen gestures and utilization of camera from a distance , multi tasking, 10 x zoom , samsung dex and flow , Nintendo emulators of super smash bros ans Mario oddyseey, astrophotography of constellations, better photo editing, customization of theme and keyboard, copy and paste clipboard, better AI capabilities, things like micro sd card, music ring tone customization, how you can download anything from anywhere at anytime , foldable innovation etc . Thats why Samsung , Huawei, Xiaomi and Google Pixel 8 pro are superior to the iPhone. The iPhone is based on simplicity which is good for infants and the elderly but for me IOS is too boring and ill never find an e sim by force to go back to it.

The only thing I hate about the IPad mini, terrible screen for the price!
I feel like there is so much wasted space on my ipad mini. Its like they stretched out the iphones screen without the ability to add more icons and widgets on it. Plus the battery life could be a little better. The compactness though is unmatched.
