Pixel the best software and features bro .
Its sad that google can slap a thermometer in pixel 8 pro, which nobody wanted or asked for, but they can not acomodate a SD card slot. These companies stripping away popular features like headphone jack or sd card slot, makes me look toward sony xperia 1 v. If sony promised 5years of software n security, i would buy it at any price at all.
Please compare google pixel 8 pro, vs sony experia 1 v, vs samsung s23 ulta, in terms of user experience, UI, in hand feel, features, battery drain time, thermal management, and value for money. I ll buy one of these 3.

Pixel for me the way that Google assistant and the screen calling you can't beat it 💗 oh, and there's something about their pictures. I don't know what it is but I always favor the pixel camera's first, then Apple then Samsung.

Ive been using the regular iphone 15 pro since release date, and just got the google pixel 2 days ago. After using only iphone for the past 5 years I can honestly say im in love with the pixel!! I really missed having that android freedom while not having my phone overloaded with useless apps like samsung do. So far I'm also enjoying the new AI advancements that really have come in handy .
I love comments like this because I’m considering returning to Android. I haven’t had one since 2015. It’s time for a change.

which AI advancements thst you cant find with an app on iphone? I am using the pixel 8 pro now and i can clearly see some advantages on the iphone. iphone still has better app optimizations in general. better integration with search, way smoother experience and everything seems to perform more stable there. and there inst anything i cant do with an iphone, google apps are also there plus the apple ones... which is also an advantage

A lot of people I know that have either an Android or iPhone never seem to fully experience every single aspect of their device. Sometimes I watch reviews then I see these people and think sometimes that all of these phones are overkill for most. Just like you said better have it and not need it but it has always been interesting for me.
I love the Pixel 8 pro quality and in reality would fit my needs exactly even in the camera department to the point of being too much lol.
Same with the iPhone but overall since Ive been in the Apple ecosystem for a couple of years it makes it a bit complicated to make a transition. Im upgrading from the 12pro to the 15pro max

The Google Pixel 8 pro had better dynamic range than iPhone The iPhone had more Boca for the portrait but the 5X camera on the Google Pixel 8 pro have more detail so I'm going to have to go with the Google on this one even though I bought the iPhone 15 pro first time buying an iPhone in years but I mainly bought it for the watch ultra
I am coming from the iPhone 13 Pro Max I would’ve upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro Max but I don’t want phone a hot phone burning hot in my pocket all day so I went with the Google pixel 8 pro and I’m pretty happy so far with performance.
But don’t u think the camera bar on pixel pro looks ugly at the back ?

They fixed the heat issue with the iPhones in the most recent update. It’s a non issue.

Just got the 8 pro, fantastic device but needs an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. No hate for the iPhone 15 series I'm just too invested in Google's OS at this point
Pixel for everything including photos. iPhone for video, Face ID and speakers.
The video quality for the Iphone has always been excellent. I moved away from the Iphone to the 6P then Pixel and I have been happy except for the video quality. I now own the Pixel 8 Pro and I'm pleased with the video and I am looking forward to the December video updates. My Smart unlock makes Face ID unnecessary for me and I mostly use earbuds for sound but speakers sound fine.
My fiance moved from the iPhone SE to the iPhone 15 under my suggestion and she's complained every day about losing the Home Button/Fingerprint reader and she hates face ID. (oh, she hates gestures). :)

Hey CJ. Can you do a review on the moto edge+ 2023? Love your videos and style! I have both and cant decide which to keep. I feel like the moto is more fluid but obviously the pixel cameras are better. But would love to see a review!
Pixel produces more contrast and deep colors to fit real world experiences. The iPhone will have a slightly sharper portrait as it captures more of the photo you are looking for. As said if pixel can transition from the heavy AI and into the log era it will give them more control to build an even better picture than the iPhone. The iPhone does have a better video quality overall. Less glitching more fluidity!
It didn't look as if you had the Pixel 8 volume fully up, replay the video and you will see the slider wasn't fully up!

Sky seems blown out on the front facing selfie camera & rear wide 1x lens on the iphone 15.
Google is killing it the best cameras software and AI features you can remove any sounds from the video. Plus other software Pixel only features clear calling isolation plus call hold call answers live. I love my Pixel Fold software plus hardware is beast Android 14.
Pixel definitely showing way better dynamic range in video. Sky is completely blown out in the iPhone vids smh Apple do better.

iphone when using 4k 60 its hdr is not good compared to 4k 30
@@CJKnowsTECH Enabling HDR won't help in this case. Turning on HDR causes the phone to record a greater range of brightness but when highlights are overblown they are also going to be overblown with HDR turned on.

Pixel has accomplished in two years, what Apple and Samsung has been struggling with for about a decade- And that's be impressive.
Which one has better voice to text. Which one is smarter.. I also like the little things Google pixel does. I just flew and 24 hours before my flight Google reminded me of it. Not only did it remind me of it, it told me when to leave to arrive at the flight and what gate my flight was on. When I landed it told me what number carousel my bags were coming out. It's the smartness of this phone. The little things that it does. The voice to text is almost perfect. I use it every single day. The pixel makes my life easier. due to the small enhancements that you don't realize you need until you live without it.
you know google apps exist on iphone too plus which one has better app optimizations, which one runs smoother, which one holds better battery, which one has better search integration without the annoying webviewer?
@@ganbly Sure google apps exist on iphone, but the stuff the person you responded to mentioned isn't integrated into iOS even if you use a google app. The voice to text models are run locally on device and are significantly faster and more accurate than anything iOS has.

Neither of them were maxed out. They were at around the same percentage volume and trust I've tested maxed out as well and the iPhone is louder

Based in the videos and images you posted, the pixel had better performance. You can see the clouds clearly better in the pixel and not in the iPhones samples you posted.

For the camera comparison, honestly, Pixel 8 Pro got your skintone right, while on iPhone, you were Hulking out cause you were looking a bit greenish. The hues were off to me.

I think it's pretty obvious the HDR performance on the Pixel murdered the iPhone. Will LOG make up for that? I don't know. As a Pixel owner since version 1... I'm not going to the Pixel 8 Pro (currently have the Pixel 7 Pro) because Google is just too distracted with their services and ecosystem. The Apple ecosystem feels mature and refind by comparison. So I'm getting the iPhone 15 Pro (non-Max). I'll miss the camera and I'm curious to see how well Apple handles spam calls.
I actually had HDR disabled on these phones in these vs but the Pixel had nice dynamic range for sure

I assume the spam call stuff on the iphone is similar to other non pixel phones, which is just general spam filtering. The spam stuff on the pixel is a neat tech demo, but never having it (I use mostly samsung phones though I did have a few older google phones in the past), it's not a feature that would impact my phone purchase at all. It depends on your use case. I personally never answer calls I don't recognize (or aren't in my contacts) and just check voicemail trasnscription after (I use google voice).
The Pixel 3XL had the frosted glass back. Google went away with it and brought it back again with the 8 Pro
I just got my 8 Pro, and upgraded from a Pixel 6 Pro. Google is stepping up each interation of the Pixel.

When Huawei first arrived with their AI camera in 2017 the word out there was gimmick.
Here we are 7 years later and every tech reviewer is reading off the same hymn sheet with Tensor AI / Neural engine , all this sounds very familiar to me and very much like a Huawei's Kirin.SOC.
Just because Hauwei, a chinese company, released some fake advertising doesn't mean the thing doesn't exist (which, lets be honest, fake advertising is kinda huawei's motto). Computational photography is a real thing, as is AI. You can tell the difference if you were to use a Pixel or iPhone, then pick up another phone that uses the exact same camera system but takes vastly inferior photos. Also, CPU's are designed with different priorities. For instance, Intel makes a variation of their snapdragon CPU that is specifically designed to be used for VR. There's a reason that iphone started making their own CPU's (and later google followed), it's not because just they could make them cheaper or even better than Intel, it's because they could make the chip work better for their hardware.

Where's the false advertising, their phones did what they said on the tin and using coming some time sooooon like the Pixels. Its well documented all over UA-cam and the internet's so If you won't even bother adding anymore, turn your data connections off as I did years ago to see how much is actually been done on the device all these years later .( Apple included )
The original Smart (smart ) phone came out of Huawei, the Mate 20 Pro and P30 pro were years ahead Google have only just entered the same plateu using Huawei's file system in Android 14 I may add.😉

So fun fact they were both at the same volume percentage. The sound volume would have been the exact same. Also I know that cranking any speaker to full 100% doesn’t yield best sound quality results
@@CJKnowsTECH I know I saw that but each phone is different when they're not at 100% some phones make huge leaps from 50% volume to 100% while others won't be such a noticable leap. I'm not saying the pixel would be better but sometimes you just have to max it out to make sure they're exactly the same

In todays times its really hard not to get a good picture iphone pixle 8 pro both good cameras
For video and build-quality (except for bending), 15P, for all else 8P...... I went with 8P

There is never a “Which is better”, once you have invested into a eco system. It’s more like, should an apple user also get a Pixel. Android users can get any phone they want as they don’t have a tightly integrated eco system.
I'm not sure I agree. You're still invested in an ecosystem either way, even if it's not just paid apps you've purchased over the years. I'm locked into Google ecosystem for multiple reasons, the main reasons being that I use Google Voice as my primary number which isn't supported on iphone, and I also am big into game emulators which are also not supported on iOS. My fiance uses iphones and she's locked into it because of facetime that she uses with much of her family, along with the icloud and other apple services that it would be tough to move her away from. Not mentioning iMessage because I think that whole topic is ridiculous even though most articles seem to concentrate on that.

I ordered the Google Pixel Pro 8, I noticed in a comment that he didn't max out the volume on the pixel, I didn't think he did either. Plus he didn't talk about price I got my Google Pixel Pro 8 for $800 off the price of $999, 256GB VERSION IPHONE will cost $1200 to $1400 and they don't believe in sales at Apple

Reason Ill probably go with the pixel is the software. Not only the features but the whole OS. I just finde the iOS software so ugly to look at and unpractical. Yeah as a young technical affine person Id probably adjust in just about a week and everything would be fine but I just like the Pixel design better. With Xiaomi or sth on the other side Id probably went with the iPhone. Maybe after some testing Ill switch to iPhone and return the pixel. But if the OS is anywhat like the iPad iOS in terms of Usage and practicability it sucks ass. Ive used an iPad pro max M2 for Uni for a long while now. And the only thing that it does better than my old Tablet is... Goodnotes which isnt even apples own software. The rest just sucks so bad. Thats also kinda what keeps me away from trying out an iPhone

Why does everyone say the pixel is so smooth?? I see jank pretty often. I love pixels. Have had almost all pixels and nexus devices but they need to get rid of the jank. Currently got the 8 Pro and the jank is still there. Obviously apps also need to get optimized but even through the UI not ysing third party apps is jarring sometimes. Unfortunately 😮💨
How that, it's battery smooth at my 8 pro, literally anything i used it for was just Like i wanted it. Even after opening apps very fast in a short time 15 Apps in 10 seconds or so it still was smooth.
I've had mine since Wednesday and haven't seen any jankyness or lag yet.
Do you think the pixel 8 pro is better than the s23 ultra?
I'm considering switching from android to Iphone 15 pro max. I need a great camera for videos. I noticed pixel 8pro has better quality regarding the picture where the clouds were burned completely on Iphone. However, I love the smoothness and support from Iphone for years. So, I'ma try Iphone. Let's see if I like it.

There’s no crime in telling us your personal preference. As a Samsung Knight I already have my Android fix with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The iPhone 15 Pro Max will be my iOS choice. It will replace my iPhone 11 Pro Max.
