You'll like Psycho Pass a lot. The anime is about a city in the future where people's mental state can be measured. People with "broken" psyches can thus be isolated and treated at an early stage so that no more crimes occur. Our protagonist is just starting her job at the Public Security Bureau, which is responsible for apprehending latent criminals. As the story unfolds, she is confronted with more and more of the city's abysses and puts herself more and more at risk of permanently compromising her own psyche.

The focal point here is your psycho-pass, a value that shows how likely you are to commit a crime or to go insane. The higher the number the more dangerous you are. I feel like I already gave away quite a bit, but you learn most of this in episode 1, so yeah. Definitely would recommend giving it a watch, even if people say season 2 was meh at best. As for a random anime recommendation this time Ill recommend Drifters. Historical figures, such as famous warriors, bandits or soldiers get snatched into a different world before death and are made to either help, or harm the inhabitants of that world. Well, I say forced, but really they just do whatever the hell they want. It has some of the best animation I have seen. It has funny moments yet there are still plenty of serious ones. And the opening is just fantastic, would definitely love to see you check that one out. Thanks for the video and sorry for the wall of text. Edit: Just remembered that Ling Tosite Sigure also made openings for some of the Psycho-pass movies. They are Who What Who What and Perfake Perfect, both are pretty good songs. Edit 2: also found out that they made another song for Psycho-pass: Virtue and Vice called Laser Beamer.
Psycho-Pass is definitely up there as one of my favourite anime. For multiple Openings and Endings to react to I'd recommend Kuroko no Basuke/Kuroko no Basket/Kuroko's Basketball (all three names are used within the fandom). The first season is easily the best, the second season is the weak point, everything after that is good to great.
Even though it's considered as a cyberpunk anime, I'd say it's more like a cyber-philosophical one. It's by far one of my favorites. Btw, Durarara openings are fire! You should totally react to them
Ling Tosite Sigure has always both male and female vocals, the band is a 3 piece, with TK on guitar who does male vocals and 345 on bass who does female vocals and Pierre on Drums
I really hope that the next anime chosen after AOT is psycho pass or fullmetal alchemist (brotherhood). Seems like a show that you'd enjoy. And I'd really recommend you reacting to Banana Fish Openings and endings, 4 videos in all. They're all bangers by Survive said the Prophet, King Gnu and Blue Encount. Like Psycho pass, Banana fish is also definitely worth a watch if you're into dark and realistic shows. And often times gut wrenchingly emotional. The fun silly anime title is deceptive.
Also I'd absolutely recommend Baccano. The OP probably won't do much for him, but it's by the same creator as Durarara, so it's got the same really fun pretentious-but-well-written vibe to it, you know? Durarara is a character-driven drama series about modern gangs and crime with weird supernatural elements being mixed in. Meanwhile, Baccano is about 1920s-1930s mobsters dealing with eachother as they go back and forth between three separate stories with a supernatural elixer of immortality being mixed in to spice things up. They're very different tones, but they genuinely feel like sibling series, if you like one you'll probably like the other.
Almost every guess you made were right, this is a top tier anime for me and must watch after Death Note which share a little bit of "dark police", noir, crime, thriller or whatever you call this, and like i told you before is one of those anime were the ending songs are even better.
It's a great show. If I can remember it is kind of cyberpunk-ish city that goes around the main character a police woman who use a special gun regulated by a gov. organization, it is what we call "Seinen" which is genre for older mature audience, more of a psychological thriller :)
Psycho-pass is a really cool but fucked up dystopian concept. I would say definitely worth a try, it's a serious show with very little comedy if any and does have gore in it but not too over the top.
True seinen anime. Can be hard to sit throught it for your typical 16 years-old. Personaly I rate it 10/10. Amaizing story and worldbuilding. Also. I recomend Baccano Opening. Very underrated anime. Real wild ride.
your guesses about the anime were pretty spot on! the first season is one of my favorites ive seen! I think I heard the quality drops after that but I haven't watched more for myself yet
Yessss! I LOVE Psycho Pass. It's so so so so good - it's a 20 out 10 anime. Haha. Its dark, gorey, and really gets you thinking - very much a rated R anime. I hope you watch it and enjoy! I really can't recommend it enough- season1 and the movie are my favorite parts.
I'm again going to recommend Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and 2nd Gig. A few similar themes to Psycho-Pass and a show to which PP owes a lot of inspiration (you can even see it in some of the shot compositions in the PP openings). Personally, I think Ghost is the better written of the two shows and has a broader story to tell. The music is great.
Wow, thanks. PSYCHO-PASS is interesting. If you like sci-fi movies, I also recommend Stand Alone Complex. Of course, I also recommend OP and ED, and GHOST IN THE SHELL (anime movie) is known as the movie that gave Hollywood a good business day.
those songs are not credited with TK, but with Long Tosite Sigure, the group he is part of. That's why you also can hear a female vocalist. But he also has a solo career and is the singer for Tokyo Ghoul or 91 Days and others, in those songs, it's credited TK from Long Tosite Sigure.
You need to react to something from Violet Evergarden, you'll be amazed by the Visuals and also the story if you ever start watching it, istg best emotional anime ever!
Psycho Pass is one of my fav anime from all times. You should definitely give it a try! At least the 1st season bc gosh, my favorite villain appears in there 🔥🔥 It's a dystopian world and the story has very sensitive topics so be careful.
This because most of the anime you reacted to are mainly mainstream shonen xD The very interesting and unique style anime are usually just under the surface, you don't have to look far, and there is TONS of them I think you might enjoy Terror in Resonance or Erased
One of the animes that was firstly written by the great Gen Urobuchi (nicknamed Urobutcher for... reasons), a man that also wrote Fate/Zero, Madoka Magica and Id:Invaded. All his works are quite gruesome, with a bit of body horror and intense psychological drama with and intense fochus in humanism as well. Psycho Pass is a story that tell us about a Japan that went intova full cyberpunk dystopian society that has a system that can predict when people will do crimes (or general mental unstability) and this group of cops that will deal with them with this sci-fi, that also kill in the most gruesome ways. That a good synopsis for the show. A good old cop drama with a lot of f**** topics on it. First season is great, second season went weak because it wasnt written by Gen Urobuchi, but he came back for the third season and kinda put the serie back on track for a forth season/movie that we are still waiting for.
One of my favorite anime as well haha great idea and really good execution! Soundtrack is amazing obviously And another recommendation for trippy or unique anime would be "Ergo Proxy" also really love its opening so you should check it out its a short one season closed story anime
Durarara is my all time favorite anime. To tell you about it without spoiling it, The anime is about a kid moving to a popular part of Tokyo and his experiences/strange encounters with gangs as well as several unique individuals. I fell in love with the anime in just 3 episodes. Also to talk about Psycho Pass, I really liked the anime. It's a very cool take on a dystopian future with alternative law enforcement, at least thats all I can say without spoiling.
Yay Psycho-pass!! OP3 is SOO GOOD When i first watched this op i was literally watching and listening this over and over again for a few days strait cause i so love glitch effects and this mood of like something goes wrong or broke or smthg soo DARK Just man so good track musically and visual
Psycho pass character designs is made by akira amano who created another shonen work called hitman reborn with some good openings too Plz check that out
This is definitely one you could really get into. I really think you would love it. It's dark and psychological. It a really good crime mystery drama with good action. Definitely rated R, aimed at adults. It's the kind of thing you would love to see made into a movie.
I recommend you listen to the fruits basket openings, in my opinion they are pretty calm openings, no rock or anything loud and crazy and they sound pretty nice.

PSYCHO-PASS is a very philosophical sci-fi anime. It is so popular that in addition to anime sequels, several movies, OVAs, novels and comics have been created.
Yep, this is unusual, very deep and dark cyberpunk police drama. Definitely worth watching. How about lighthearted Kuroko no Basuke openings and endings next?
I am begging for Made In Abyss reactions, ESPECIALLY the OSTs. The openings and endings are good (including some endings from Myth & Roid), but the OSTs by Kevin Pelkin are utterly incredible.
This is one of my all-time favorite animes, one of those that I watch again because of how fascinating it is. I mentioned it before, I think it has one of the best developed villains. This anime makes you think. The openings are certainly amazing. I hope one day you give him a chance ✌🏼
This is a great anime and really makes one think. This one has two seasons and a movie. All really good. I also recommend D.Grayman and Shiki. Both of these and Psycho Pass are gray areas of who is the villain and who is the good guy. They make you think.
@@animeangel990 I believe you can watch them on Amazon Prime, that's where I watched it. It's been a while since come out, they didn't market it over seas properly that's why many people missed it's premiere.
9:55 I think you mean Durarara! also known as Drrr! (the sound of motorbike). I personaly dont find the opening to this show exeptional but they are iconic. They have a unique stile than any anime lover can recognise at a glance.
I think most anime fans that have seen it would agree that the first season of Psycho-Pass is a fantastic show. Definitely a 10/10 for me. Many would tell you to stop with the first season which is a complete story on it's own. Season 2 is a lot more controversial, but I still enjoyed it. Maybe an 8.5 out of 10. After that there are a series of movies followed by a third season which itself is finished by a movie. The first movie is the worst part of the series, but the set of 3 movies after that are almost as good as Season 1. The third season and it's movie were both quite good but I do have some specific complaints with it. Anyway if you do watch it and end up really liking season 1 I think it's worth plowing through the weaker content of season 2 and the first movie to get to the stuff after it. Season 3 does need the context of season 2 and all those movies though so they can't be skipped. As far as the show's plot, without spoiling anything it's kind of like a "minority report"-esque dystopian society in a cyberpunk setting. It's definitely a psychological thriller as well as a police investigation type drama.
Attack on titan, psychopass, and now surprisingly cyberpunk are my top 3 in terms of being fucking masterpieces. My personal favourite anime ever is gintama tho. If you did a full reaction to any of them after or alongside aot I’d be 100% locked in to that shit
Psycho Pass is God Tier! Cyberpunk at its finest... Cyberpunk and noir.... The best combination. The style has nothing to see with black/white... It's just some common factor from trailers. The animé is fully and beautifully colored (even with the dark atmosphere).
Luke, think of Bladerunner, the Matrix and 1984 now put Psycho Pass somewhere in the middle of it all. It's about a society where everyone is given a "criminal coefficient" number which is tracked and flagged every second of every day. When that numbers gets too high, the person will be considered a potential future criminal and will be sanctioned by the law. Sanction can be either rehab, imprisonment or death ... for people who have yet to commit a crime. It's a great (and very very dark) "r-rated" series that is worth watching. There's season 1, season 2, a movie, a 3-episode series called Sinners of the System, Season 3 series and movie, season 4 and the upcoming Psycho Pass Providence movie. It's a strong franchise.
React to the Japanese opening of some classic anime that started then anime craze in early 2000s like Pokémon, digimon and yugioh because they’re very different then what the west replace them with
I mentioned this on your first video, but in case you don't see it, the art for Psycho Pass is done by Akira Amano. She is also thr author/artist for Katekyo Hitman Reborn and eldive, which are both on the complete opposite specrtum of Psycho Pass. Also! I'd love to see your reaction to SpyxFamily! 😃
Yo, you should DEFINITLEY check out the Dorohedoro opening (there's one) and the ending songs, there are 6. They are all by the same artist. I call it the LSD anime, you'll see why.
I just stopped by to say I am a beautiful people. Oh and you should watch the opening for The Hero is Overly powered but Overly Cautious, the music is by Myth and Roid and is one hell of a song.
Even if it's on your own, or on Twitch, I HIGHLY reccomend you watch Season 1. It is one of the best Season 1's of ANY Anime I've ever seen! It's so good. If you are a fan of Ghost in the Shell, Minority Report, Death Note, 1984, or Cyberpunk themes you will LOVE this series. Season 1 is a fully contained storyline. Hope you check it out!
Psycho-Pass is at least a 9/10 anime, definitely worth the watch. You got pretty on the nose with the dystopian future setting. This anime is crime/sci-fi/psychological, and it is a fucking TRIP. Worth checking out, at least the first episode or two to see if it's your jam.

Finally ! I've been waiting for this one 😁
PsychoPass is one of my favorite anime, really worth a watch, movies included.
If psychological horror/thriller fits your bill, Psycho Pass is an incredible show!
It's a great show. If I can remember it is kind of cyberpunk-ish city that goes around the main character a police woman who use a special gun regulated by a gov. organization, it is what we call "Seinen" which is genre for older mature audience, more of a psychological thriller :)
Definitely check out Durarara! Probably also worth checking out Baccano with Durarara! if you haven't. Same author and similar style.
Just so you know there is one more op, if you search "Psycho Pass 3 first inspector op" you should be able to find it pretty easy.
That was pretty much expected, at this point. Everyone always misses the first inspector op....
Totally down for a Durarara intro reaction
I'm again going to recommend Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and 2nd Gig. A few similar themes to Psycho-Pass and a show to which PP owes a lot of inspiration (you can even see it in some of the shot compositions in the PP openings). Personally, I think Ghost is the better written of the two shows and has a broader story to tell. The music is great.
There's one more op called synthetic sympathy ,i was really excited for you to see it too 😂
About the female vocals on the TK ops it's the bassist of his band Ling Tosite Sigure, she sings and do the backing vocal in a lot of their songs.
Really recommend the first season. :)
Start by watching this video called "To anyone who hasn't seen Violet Evergarden..."
what a timing for reaction video lol since TK also performed the latest ending #8 of Chainsaw man haha
Psycho Pass is one of my fav anime from all times. You should definitely give it a try! At least the 1st season bc gosh, my favorite villain appears in there 🔥🔥
It's a dystopian world and the story has very sensitive topics so be careful.
This because most of the anime you reacted to are mainly mainstream shonen xD
The very interesting and unique style anime are usually just under the surface, you don't have to look far, and there is TONS of them
I think you might enjoy Terror in Resonance or Erased
I absolutely love this anime. Shame I never see reactions to it.
Definitely watch this anime! So damn good one. Especially the first season!
Psycho-Pass is a Mind blowing anime (literally)
One of my favorite anime as well haha great idea and really good execution!
Soundtrack is amazing obviously
And another recommendation for trippy or unique anime would be "Ergo Proxy" also really love its opening so you should check it out its a short one season closed story anime
And now you must check the endings from Psycho Pass, they're so good!!
"Dystopian Cyberpunk" is a very good way to describe the setting!! Very accurate.
OP3 is SOO GOOD
When i first watched this op i was literally watching and listening this over and over again for a few days strait cause i so love glitch effects and this mood of like something goes wrong or broke or smthg soo DARK
Just man so good track musically and visual
OP 3 was done by Ling Tosite SIgure (TK's band), there's a vocalist called Miyoko (345) that's the female voice
YES!!!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!!! YEEEEEESSSSSS
Got to say that Psycho Pass have Tom Cruise's Minority Report movie vibe and it's one of the best anime !
I recently rewatched some of Psycho Pass and it has aged like fine wine.
Psycho pass character designs is made by akira amano who created another shonen work called hitman reborn with some good openings too
Plz check that out
He is def my fav vocalist in anime
Luke hasn't seen the PET OP by TK yet sadge .Also today Chainsaw Man episode 8 ending (First Death) was by TK FYI .
FINALY U REACT T THIS!!!! IM SO EXITED!!!!!
Definitely check out Durarara (and its older sister Baccano) OPs, they're so fun
That's not Tk, that's his band which does include a female vocalist/bass player like you guessed
Durarara is one of my favorites, it's very unique, and it has a great soundtrack.
PSYCHO-PASS is a very philosophical sci-fi anime.
It is so popular that in addition to anime sequels, several movies, OVAs, novels and comics have been created.
The Ending also great btw
You need to hear the endings as well, such as Namae no Nai Kaibutsu by Egoist, the name translates to "Monster without name"
I love this anime, I havn't got around to season 3 because it hasn't been dubbed. Also Durarara next please.
Yep, this is unusual, very deep and dark cyberpunk police drama. Definitely worth watching.
How about lighthearted Kuroko no Basuke openings and endings next?
YASSSSS! THESE OPENINGS ARE LIT! AS THE SERIES GOES ON, YOU INTERPRET THE MEANING OF THE OPENINGS! LIKE WHEN KOUGAMI FIGHTS HIMSELF!
Chainsaw Man Ending song 8 is by TK 🔥🔥🔥
It actually has a 3 season, 3 movies and one is going to come soon
@@knaditya8228 I had no idea, good to know. I hope they come over to the US at some point.
@@animeangel990 I believe you can watch them on Amazon Prime, that's where I watched it. It's been a while since come out, they didn't market it over seas properly that's why many people missed it's premiere.
Psycho Pass will forever be my guilty pleasure. I'm sure you will enjoy it
Psycho Pass is definitely great dystopian cyperpunk (police) show
Check out the endings as well!
9:55 I think you mean Durarara! also known as Drrr! (the sound of motorbike). I personaly dont find the opening to this show exeptional but they are iconic. They have a unique stile than any anime lover can recognise at a glance.
Watch Psycho Pass after FMA Brotherhood!
I would say psycho pass season 1 is 10/10. The later seasons have more problems but I still enjoy them a lot
Attack on titan, psychopass, and now surprisingly cyberpunk are my top 3 in terms of being fucking masterpieces. My personal favourite anime ever is gintama tho. If you did a full reaction to any of them after or alongside aot I’d be 100% locked in to that shit
some of the best anime si-fi and drama that will blow your mind at the end
Yea finally and now you can react to durarara ops 😩
React to the Japanese opening of some classic anime that started then anime craze in early 2000s like Pokémon, digimon and yugioh because they’re very different then what the west replace them with
If you like “Psycho-Pass”vibes, you may check “Ghost in the shell”.
Psycho Pass is very good, especially the first season.
Now you MUST react to the 4 endings of Psycho-pass!! They are even better
yeah, Psycho-Pass is good, one of my fave
Durararara! (forgot how many 'ra' it has) is good too
it's story progression is interesting
Psycho-Pass is at least a 9/10 anime, definitely worth the watch. You got pretty on the nose with the dystopian future setting. This anime is crime/sci-fi/psychological, and it is a fucking TRIP. Worth checking out, at least the first episode or two to see if it's your jam.
Omg yeeess Durarara let's gooooo
