do reaction to all myth and roid songs or at least all re:zero songs you miss out on them mainly reline and long shot are good but straight bet and theater d are even better and stay back from screenchots or animation on them they have spoilers and I mean big spoilers
@@shoukokomi6419 honestly i always thought they should be hiring people like amalee or jonathan young to either voice these chars in dubs or to remake these endings and op...
I would say more like WW1.5, since the weapons technology fits closer to late 1920s to 1930s, while the tactics see a rapid development from trench-warfare to blitzkrieg. In some regards the are even way ahead of time (the V1 inspired jet-engine powered devices are like 1940s technology).
The VA for Tanya who sang the Ending also sang both Endings for "So I'm a Spider, So What?", both are insane and worth checking out, especially the full versions.
The Saga of Tanya the Evil, or Yōjo Senki (The Military Chronicles of a Little Girl) (its actual name), legitimately has some of the greatest cinematography in anime. A lot of care went into its production. It is hands down one of my favorite anime! It has currently 1 season and 1 movie, with a 2nd season currently under production.
The sequel movie is even better though, since they very clearly upped the budget. I thought the made series had good actions scenes! But the movie begins in the middle of one of a phenomenal fight scene with action happening between different altitudes as Tanya and crew fight through overwhelming odds!
Dude !! thanx for the info, I did not know this So glad that it has a season 2. I hope they go all the way to the ending, no matter how many seasons it will take
About the Ending: The ending is sung by Aoi Yuuki, who is also the japanese voice actor of the main Character. One of her Trademarks, is that she sings the ending songs from anime she plays in, usually from the perspective of her character. This song (Los! Los! Los!) for example is Tanya talking about how human lifes are worthless and how they should build a mountain of corpses to the heavens. Other songs i can recommend from her are the two endings from "I'm a spider, so what" and the third ending from "Rokka no Yuusha"
Also a lot of these EDs and OPs have Full Versions, which usually about doubles the length of the song. These are the full versions of what's cut to fit the intro*(nvm he literally pulls up a full version 5 minutes into the video)
That-that is literally the *opposite* of the song's meaning! The song very specifically talks about how horrible war is, how "a silent battlefield must sure be heaven," and how Tanya wants to end the war, but can't see *any* way of doing so other than by absolutely obliterating the cycle of fear and hate by leaving *no one* to continue the cycle. The last line of the full song outright admits her despair at the hopelessness of her goal: she *doesn't believe she can stop the war,* but she still must try.
@@comet.x I see a conclusion jumper, first and foremost this is ww1 not 2, if it where 2 I'm sure there would be at least a passing mention of the Austrian painter and his genocidal exploits, tanks, lots of them and plains that don't look like shit. And if you CARE, something I know you don't right now, you would at least know the MC's main motivator
For Myth&Roid songs: "Shadowgraph" is the Opening for "Boogiepop and others" "Endless embrace" is the ending for "Made in Abyss" season 2 "tit for tat" is the opening for "Cautious Hero" "Rememberance" is the theme song for the "Saga of Tanya the evil" Movie And we got a whole lot of songs in "Re:zero". Also, while some of these are not from any anime, I can HIGHLY recommend you to listen to their Album "eYes", it's REALLY good
Great list!! The only 2 I would add are Anger from BBK/BRNK and Panta Rhei from Isekai Cheat Magician. And I definitely couldn't agree with you more on eYes ... it's a truly amazing album.
Saga of Tanya the Evil is based on light novel, not an manga. As for anime it has 1 season and also a movie. Season 2 was announced, but they didn't say release date yet.
Tanya the evil simply has one Season, with a second one currently in production. There is also a movie that released quiet recently. I would recomend reacting to it as it only has 12 Episodes and the movie it wont take to much time.
There is actually a second ending that only plays once in the season you missed, "Sensen no Realism" by Mako Niina, which is more mellow, to fit the mood of the story at the point. The anime is actually really good, highly recommend it. The english title gives a very bad first impression of the character though, the japanese is "Youjo Senki", or roughly "Young Girl's War Story". Very dark but I love the character development in it. A lot of anime is made as a "teaser" to the original work, manga/light novel/etc. If it is very successful, they might make more seasons. If it is only average though, a lot of them stop at one season and you need to read the original to get the rest. This one however, like most people have said, has done well, and is getting another season, and already got a movie as well.
@@GOTGames Another layer that needs to be taken into consideration is, since most animes are adapted from manga or light novels, a lot of them are built on ongoing, unfinished material. So say a very popular series gets an anime, there might be significant gaps between seasons to give some space for the original material to build up. The best anime studios are also in high demand, and they could be sitting on a series they have adaptation rights to while working on more pressing-slash-important works.
The american mistranslation of the title is a fucking travesty, and is outright malicious, and the person responsible and everyone who approved should be fired and blacklisted.
To answer your question at 12:18. There's many reason as to why theres only 1 season of said anime. I'll list some of them here but there are def more. Money, money is the big key thing as to how the planning will go when making an anime. And for most anime which are adapted from LN/manga, are usually only adapted one season at a time because of money. It's alot safer to plan the budget for 1 season which is usually 12 episodes compared to multiple seasons at once. The risk of an anime not being popular enough to make profit and ending up with a huge loss/cancelled is a big factor. You can also compare modern anime to older ones. There used to be many more 24ep or 100 ep+ anime compared to today. The popularity of anime/manga has risen by quite alot compared to back then which also mean there's a lot more competition + piracy. So that's why there are many anime that only has 1 season. The manga/LN was popular enough to get an adaptation but not huge enough for them to want to continue with a 2nd season or the anime itself didn't do well enough. Material. Since most anime are adapted, it's not uncommon for the anime to run out or has caught up to the manga/LN. And that's also another reason why there are many anime with only 1 season even though it was released years ago. Also why animes or longer animes tend to have filler episode is to slow down the pace to not catch up with the manga/LN too quickly.
@@yp4506 I have watched some of it, it wasn't for me, wasn't a big fan of the artstyle and I generally don't enjoy shows with child main protagonists. I suppose Tanya the Evil is sort of an exception in that regard, but she seems like a rather special case for obvious reasons, heh. (Edit: Not judging either, I'm sure it's a great show objectively speaking, but just wasn't to my taste)
The show is soo good. I really love the Japanese version as the VA captures Tanya's insanity very well. The movie was pretty wild as well. There was even official art made of Tanya and Aniz from overlord made
Tanya isn't insane, you brainlet mongrel. Her goal is to stop fighting, to get away from fighting, and to oversee efficient business transaction and the useful spending of human time. She knows that wars are an insane waste of human potential, and, aside from surviving, wants nothing less than to end wars. You watched only the anime, are an american, and/or are outright stupid.
The thing with anime is that most are only adapted for 1 season typically unless their source material is very very popular, and with a lot of these animes that are only ment to have a single season will sometimes return if the show was received well enough and has more source material to adapt into another season or movie. A good example of this would be a recent hit My Dress-up Darling which did so well that the animation studio said that they were only planning for a single season, but after the show was released they had changed their minds, and announced a 2nd season. However this can sometimes take a very long time too with anime like Bleach finally getting a return season 10 years later.
10 years isn't even the longest I've personally waited for an additional season. There's a great series called Full Metal Panic! that first came out in 2002, with a side season/spin off called Full Metal Panic! Fumofuu! in 2003. We got season 2 in 2005 with Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid, and then had to wait until 2018, 13 years later, for season 3, Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory. Still waiting for season 4.
@@mrmxypltk I got one up on you: Rurouni Kenshin. We never got a proper Enishi arc in the TV anime that was completed in the mid-90's. Just two days ago I finally saw a new trailer for a re-doing of Rurouni Kenshin, and while I don't know too much about this new series, I am HOPING its just a full re-make, a la Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, where they stick close to the manga, and do it ALL, all the way through the Enishi arc properly!! Been waiting what, 25 years for this to happen??
@@RyoHazuki224 except, while I do like Kenshin, that is one anime that doesn't deserve anything new, thanks to the issues of its creator. He doesn't deserve any money or good press from a new season of anime.
The Tanya the Evil movie's opening and endings are good as well; SenSen no Realism, which translates to "the realism of the frontlines" (reply with more accurate translations if it is incorrect), and Remembrance are really good. The German covers for these songs are amazing as well!
World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated In Another World as an Aristocrat, if anyone needs the name of the anime for that. And yes, it's an incredible OP.
Sage of Tanya the Evil is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Totally recommend for you to react to the show after Attack on Titan. Also it only has 1 season so far with a movie and a bonus episode. Season 2 is currently in production.
Re:Zero's endings have a fantastic Myth & Roid song, and they're all amazing, you should react to them. Re:Zero's 4th opening (the one you missed before) is sung by Myth & Roid's vocalist too, you'll like it! Here's the deal with how it works to answer your question. Anime gets announced usually one season at a time. Some are fortunate to get additional seasons, some just stop at the 1st season and they never get a second. So no anime really gets "cancelled". Sometimes they come back with additional seasons (or movies), and sometimes they don't. Here are a couple additional recommendations from my personal favorites that deserve more people talking about them, which I know you'll definitely enjoy: - "Houseki no Kuni" OP and ED - "Kanata no Astra" OP and ED
tanya is a F***** Amazing series and I have rewatched it more then a couple of times Tanya got one season plus an ova and a movie. it should be coming a season 2 this year.
I personally love the OP of "Spice & Wolf", so I would really like to see you react to them. They have a quieter and calmer vibe, but can give you the chills.
Amalee also did an english cover version of Spice & Wolf's opening. Honestly though, one of the biggest surprises of 2022 was the announcement that Spice & Wolf was getting a new anime project.
I loved Spice of Wolf a lot when I was a student, very unique and lovely anime. The interaction between Horo and Lawrence was very cute. I was looking forward to find similar traits in Maou Yuusha but it's different (it was a good light novel though).
Aoi yuki is a phenomenal voice actor, if she has a lead role in an anime chances are she would be singing either the opening or ending of the theme song
Tanya's voice actor is Aoi Yuki, one fantastic seiyuu and singer. She has such a great range of voices. She is the one who sang Los Los Los ED song. There is also a video of Aoi Yuki singing Los Los Los in a military uniform just like Tanya, in a scenario that is settled just like one for a totalitarian regime, with soldiers at the back, and all the audience looks like they were her soldiers and followers. It's funtastic!
Originally anime was meant as advertisement for mangas, light novels, visual novels, and merchandise. So quite often you’ll see older anime that were wildly successful but only got a single season, because the publisher wants you to buy the source material if you wanna find out what happens next With newer anime it could be either cancelled, publisher/studio is awaiting budget reports, or the anime is still in production (anime seasons usually have a few years interval unlike live action tv shows) In Youjo Senki’s (Saga of Tanya the Evil) case, it’s still in production and will likely start airing next year
Its a magical alternate world, based loosely on World War 1... but with magic, however its set in the early 20's and they mix in some WW2 references. So really none of the above, but also all of the above, its a fictional world with mixed in heavy influences from our world.
It is set in an alternate timeline roughly between WW1 & WW2 technology wise - but with Magic users. Release order of available things for this anime: Season 1 > Movie > Operation Desert pasta Season 2 in production currently (hopefully in '23)
Saga of Tanya is an interesting one. The little girl is not a simple little girl but a man reincarnated with all of his memories. This man challenged a "God" who punished him with this rebirth thing to a world with WW2 like wars, but there is also magic. (This all is like the basic description of the show, no spoilers.) It would be an interesting watch.
To answer your question about the "anime cancelling" thing. It happens but very rarely, like in my 10 or so years that I've been into anime I've only seen it happen a couple times, and that due to budget, inner studio issues or general troubles with the original authors. What happens very often actually are incomplete adaptations. You see anime are generally adapted from manga or light novels (or even games and visual novels), and to test the waters studios usually adapt a part of the story in 12 episodes or in some cases 24 episodes. In 12 episodes usually you get 1 opening, in 24 you may get 2 openings. If they see that the anime is doing well on viewership, the original source material is selling well and it's getting good attention then it is usually greenlighted for a season 2 to adapt more of the story. If it doesn't do good... well yeah they say that's it, the original source is still there in case some people wanna know more, we aren't gonna waste money in animating it further. If it gets a season 2 you may get yet another opening. Now I have to say that this isn't written in stone cause there are also many exceptions like : Original Anime (basically not from any source material but just original studio ideas), more than 1 opening in just 12 episodes, 12 different endings in 12 episodes etc etc.. Sorry for the long comment, I know I jumble my ideas sometimes so someone in the comments feel free to correct me if I said smth wrong. Amazing video and as always keep up the good work!!
I want to see this man react to the strange 180 of mood that is Isekai Quartet. It's got the cast of Overlord, Tanya the Evil, Re:Zero and Konosuba, the majority of which have dark and moody themes, but the show is insanely energetic and the openings is not something I think he would expect given what he knows.

The show is SO good. I think Luke could watch Tanya the Evil. It's fairly short as well, even if there is a new season upcoming. It's very World War 2 with gods and magic. :D Though I have seen people say that you should consider skipping the first episode with Tanya because it's sort of a setup episode and you don't miss anything, but after that it's CRAZY GOOD. About the industry: Shows just might not be popular enough or there was other shows the studios went with first, or the source material like manga or light novels might not be far enough to get a good quality season yet. So... it depends.
Skipping the first episode is absolute madness, no context and skips the whole conflict reason of our mc! Never sleep on introductory episodes.. they're important.
The Saga of Tanya the Evil was announced for a second season! Anime at the end of the day is an adaptation of another source. Most anime is adaptations of graphic novels/manga, but there are a lot of anime that are adaptations of Light Novels. More often than not of an anime has one season, the source material os short, they are waiting for the story to get through what can classify as it’s own season, viewer reception is low, or they are working on the next season but taking their time.
the general idea is to make 1 or 2 season for an anime, longer ones are rare, those usually are there because they have long running mangas or they are a franchise that serves the purpose of having an iconic one to cover a long period of time. for extra information you can watch shirobako it is about the anime industry
Honestly, I personally prefer the german cover of Los! Los! Los! by Selphius over the OG. Also, I'd recommend finding a subtitled version of either rendition, because it's a pretty good perspective on Tanya as a character.
i love how the rythm matches the anime itself. not that there isn't anything slow in the anime, but it's very much an insane alternate ww1 style war where war crimes are committed every other episode
How it works is that the Author has to either pitch their story, have the popularity, or be noticed by a scout. Then what happens is that usually the contract gets signed for a single season to test the waters (there are exceptions). If the show is popular enough, or has the potential to become popular, the Animation studios will offer to extend the contract for further seasons. Some shows fail to meet the studios expectations, others get denied by the authors themselves. Why? Because they use that singular season as a expensive ad, to hook the viewers on their stories, so that they'd have to go looking for the original piece.
The anime industry works a bit differently in terms of Seasons than western shows tend to. Generally speaking, most Anime are only ever slated for the 1 season, with options to continue with further seasons if they are successful enough, as well as often getting movies or ONA/OVA specials as well. Tanya the Evil has its 1st season, a Movie, and an announced 2nd season, for example. There are always exceptions for big ongoing anime, usually Shonen, like One Piece, Naruto, DBZ, Bleach ( which is getting a new season soon), My Hero Academia, etc. But the vast majority of Anime are meant to be one season and done, unless they prove to be successful.
I love this show, I've rewatched S1 like 5 times solo, and many more times with reaction channels, and HAD to watch the MOVIE in theaters, can't wait for S2!!!!!!!!!!
I love the op and ed for Tanya. Expertly captures the feel of the show at its best, both in graphics and music. Fun fact, a lot of the art, especially in the ed is some of the original art done for the light novel the anime is based on. In terms of Seasons: Tanya had a first season a decent few years ago, a sequel movie more recently, and has an actual second season slated, but is taking forever because studio NUT (yes that is actually their name) are juggling other successful anime. Unfortunately, Tanya is a bit more niche than Overlord and their other anime. But it is coming darn it!
Many have explained the anime "archs" and season installments before but simply put - most anime will change OP and ED about every 13th episode. Meaning that series that only consists of around 13 episodes only gets a single op/ed. Series spanning 24-26 episodes usually gets 2 op/ed for those episodes. If the anime is even longer than that that usually warrants even more op/ed at the same interval. Of course there's variations and exceptions but that's the common pattern.
There isn't a protagonist that scares me like Tanya, she is evil incarnate but you can never hate her, which is probably the most dangerous combination.
I've watched this show over 5 times. I don't know how often you upload actual show reactions to your channel or how willing you are since I just found you, but this is definitely one I would love to see somebody like you watch, especially from your first impressions from the songs.
I suggest that you react to Spy x Family openings and ending. They are so good. There are 2 of each About animes with only one op and ending, it depends. Sometimes is a one season show, sometimes it's cancelled, sometimes it's just not adapted yet.
As for the 1 season thing there is a few reasons for just 1, sometimes they wrap it up in 1 season, sometimes they get canceled or were only contracted for 1 season, sometimes it's more to help sales of Novels or manga
Would recommend "So I´m a Spider, so what?" op and ed´s as well. Something a bit more classic or unusual would be the op and ed of "Madoka Magica" and the first 2 old "Higurashi no naku koro ni" op´s.
Great reaction man! Watching these with you is like watching the anime with friends and everyone gets all excited because we all really love it. This open is one of those I just have to start dancing in my seat or jump up whenever it comes on. Yeah it's extraordinary, as is the anime. Truly most excellent.
For your question it really depends on stuff like: - Is it based on an light novel/manga? Is it popular enough so we can adapt it to anime? - Will the merch and the discs with season(s) give us(the production team) our money back with interest? Sometimes they will release one season of 12/13 eps, w8 a few months, drop a movie and the w8 a few years to announce that they are making a 2nd season. An example is Tanya. Then you have long-running series like Attack on Titan that split the adaptations into multiple seasons so they can adapt the source material as best as they can. Aaaaand this is only the tip of the iceberg.
I don't know someone from the industry but i know someone who made Anime music covers for 7 years until he got the opportunity to perform a Opening song for a recent aired Anime . UA-camr Pellek sang for the show Skeleton Knight in Another World the OP called Aa Waga Roman no Michi Yo . Maybe he can share some insights on his experience .
The reason many shows only have one season is that the anime is made more as an advertismement for the original work (which are usually Manga or Light Novel's). Some become popular enough that more seasons are made, but most shows are only ever intended to get one season and then maybe if they do really well, a movie.... and if the movie performs really well, then they might comission more seasons. The decision for how many seasons a show gets generally does not lie with the animation studios, and instead with the people who hold the rights to these shows, and they usually only comission one or two seasons in most cases, while some really big ones potentially gain multiple seasons. So, no... anime shows dont really "get cancelled"... one or two seasons is normal for most anime, as the intention always was that the anime is more just an advertisment for a book or manga or something like that.
so the tactic nowadays seems to be for anime based off of light novels is that usually it's only 1-2 seasons to kind of hype up the novel and encourage people to buy them with certain animes getting more seasons if they really pop off. it's not that they're cancelled but more used as promos for the books.
The reason there is only 1 season for a lot of anime is that they are usually produced and planned for a single season because it is not certain it will be profitable enough to make multiple seasons. There are a lot of factors, but if the first season does really well the chances of it getting a second season will increase. The time between seasons is because of confirming success and other factors taking a long time, then the production process is lengthy as well. A lot of popular anime have multiple seasons because they've done really well in Japan and they were able to bring in large profits (especially with merchandise sales and such). There is another type of anime production that relies on weekly episodes with no clear seasons(with exceptions ofc), but that type is usually reserved for megahit mangas backed by the largest manga magazines. Those are usually shounen, and some prominent examples you would know are One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, and Dragon Ball. p.s. I think a great idea for content is to lay more heavily on the "trying to guess what the show is about" part of the deal and check out the synopsis of the show at the end of the video. There are only a few popular reactors that do this; so not only would it be pretty original, but it would also help you learn more about the shows.
YES my favourite anime! I would absolutely recommend watching this its amazing And the anime isnt cancelled, after the fiirst season aired a movie was made as a de facto second season while the real second season is still to come.
Like people have mentioned the ending is sung by Aoi Yuki who has sung a few EDs after she worked on Symphogear and developed her singing skills on that show
Saga actually has had a second season announced a few months ago. Saga of Tanya is great, after it released it got an OVA that seems like filler, but is actually semi plot relevant, then a few years later it got a plot relevant movie that's great
its like prarralel WW1 combined with some WW2 elements plus magic. Aoi Yuuki the voice actor also has some great other songs like the "Im a spider so what?!" Endings or all her songs in "Symphogear" Also you miss an ENding there is a second one xD
Tanya has 1 season and a movie with a second season coming out in the near future. Anime is typically primarily a commercial for merchandise and the source material(manga/novel). Getting more seasons depends heavily on how well it manages to sell merch/manga/dvds. Funny thing about Tanya is the show got a second season due to the mangaka of Overlord insisting on it in exchange for greenlighting season 4. It's a great show/novel. I don't like that they editorialized the name when they localized it the actual translation is "The Military Chronicles of a Little Girl".
Going through your Attack on Titan reactions, a few things that I recall you saying are: - You like dark and gritty - You like training sequences Based on that alone, I think that Saga of Tanya the Evil would be up your alley. Without getting into spoilers, let's just say that one of the themes is "Machiavellianism".
oh there is a movie out and season 2 is on the way ^^ very good show and VA of Tanya (Aoi Yūki) is fenomenal.. i love her.. :D she sang the ending and its so good :D im 100% recommend watching this
It is a really good anime. And yes, WW1 but with a twist, it has mages xD. It has 1 season, 1 ova, and 1 movie (kind of a s2). But I don't think it is canceled. Good anime to react to aswell, and it stands great by itself with or without a s2.
Often when there is only one season, it's because it caught up with the manga. The manga goes on for a few years, then you get season 2. Youjo Senki did get a movie. And season 2 is in production right now.
If you haven't done them already, Myth & Roid did a lot of the music for Re:Zero, including the first ED and second OP (Styx Helix and Paradisius Paradoxum respectively), and Mayu Maeshima, the lead vocalist, would return to series despite leaving the bad to do the fourth OP, Long Shot. Needless to say, they're all incredible, and so is the rest of the music from the series. I'd love to see you check it out.
So far there is just one season and a movie. There has been rumors of a second season but no firm date yet. The thing to remember, up until the advent of services like Crunchyroll, or even Anime on Netflix, anime mainly existed to sell DVDs, Manga, and light novels. The light novels for Tanya the Evil is still on going. So there is more than enough source material for multiple more seasons. It is SOOO worth watching.
Need to check out the opening for Black Lagoon and you definitely need to watch the series. You would absolutely love Black Lagoon. It's basically about a group of mercenary pirates in the south seas off coasts of Thailand. The series has basically three seasons. Since the third season was an OVA series called Roberta's Blood Trail. And if you watch the series, watch it in English. It's got one of the best English duds, plus the characters are speaking English canonically anyways since three of the main characters are American and one is Japanese.
you should definitely watch amalee's covers of overlords opening 1 and 3. Oh, and perhaps the same with re:zero's endings and openings that she's covered.
I haven’t delved too much into how a studio gets an artist or band to do the music but there is one instance I know of. One of my favourite mangas, Call of the Night/Yofukashi No Uta, was inspired by and named after a song by Creepy Nuts and now that it’s got an anime, they did the soundtrack for it with the song, Yofukashi No Uta, as the ending
Animes often get only 1 season(depends on hype and how far the manga is, its rarely an original show) while the manga continues and some of them will someday get another season. Bleach and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt get a continuation after more than 10 years. Anime easily can become high budget, there are very long shows where 1 epic fight took an additional team of animators weeks and even months for beautiful and epic 20 minutes! Some other shows just have high budget from the start because the manga is so successful.
You should watch this anime as soon as you could! Because s2 announced last year and they release their first ova. No announcement since then, sadge 😥. You need to catch up soon! And there is no actually a massive cliff hanger, and if you do release anime reaction, don't forget to watch the movie and the ova after the series. Also the author of Overlord and the Saga of Tanya the Evil are friends IRL (inReal Life). When Overlord announced their s4 and movie, Tanya also announced their s2! Thinking about it, they might also announced another movie, when there're another announcement in Tanya. Oh, I would like to recommend So I'm a Spider, So What? Check it out! Great reaction in this one, never thought that you'll react not only to openings but the full version as well and ending damn
Anime just in the recent years is becoming more mainstream and is getting more budget so that shows get multiple seasons. There are companies that are notorious for just making only one season for most of their projects because the biggest reason majority of anime is produced to promote source material. Hopefully the situation will continue to improve as this is quite sad for us fans that won't get season two for some of our favorite anime.
The show is set in an alternate world with the same physical geography as ours and countries that are reasonably close analogues of ours. It takes place in the 1920s when their first world war breaks out but there are some elements borrowed from our second world war, particularly in terms of technology and tactics. The politics of the war are significantly different from either the first or second world wars of our world. Some events that were precipitated by the first world war in our world have happened already without it. Also this world has access to magic which is used in combat. The OST is well worth checking out as well, particularly "Young Girl's War Saga". There's also "Demon of the Rhine" which is a re-arrangement of "Young Girl's War Saga" which never appears in the show but was added to the soundtrack album as a bonus and I think you'd really like it. The Youjo Senki/Saga of Tanya the Evil movie also has a new MYTH&ROID song, "Remembrance". It's worth being aware MYTH&ROID have had two different vocalists. "Jingo Jungle" and "L.L.L" were the original singer, Mayu Maeshima while "Voracity", "Hydra", and "Remembrance" had their new singer who uses the stage name "KIHOW".

It's basically WW1 but in an alternate time line with magic. Also the German version of Los Los hits different.

Yes he should react to the german version! but im unsure if it has english sub for him.
There are also WWII elements such as weapons and characters
@@randomzocker8956 IT has english subtitles, also for me personally Los Los Los hit a lot harder once you understand the lyrics
The VA for Tanya who sang the Ending also sang both Endings for "So I'm a Spider, So What?", both are insane and worth checking out, especially the full versions.
yes love for spider so what
id love for him to react to those openings and endings since they slap haaard
Please, do a reaction to "So I am a Spider, so What?" The first ending is worth a full version though. It is a ride!
I am reading the spider light novel on Kindle and am enjoying it very much!
The cgi and the pacing of the anime werent that good, sadly.
Up! Even if he doesn't do every single one, he should 100% react to the full version of Ganbare! Kumoko-san!
Yes! Absolutely recommend him to check out both the op's and ed's for So I'm a spider so what.
I love how IN DEPTH the military aspect about war is in the manga. Sadly it lacks in the anime.
Also has the OVA set in Africa which is really fun
Season 2 was announced and could be coming next year (really hype) should definitely watch such a good anime
Dude !! thanx for the info, I did not know this

They finally have enough ln material to continue hehe
woah finally I'm so hyped in this anime tanya is so insane
Oh awesome!

About the Ending:
The ending is sung by Aoi Yuuki, who is also the japanese voice actor of the main Character.
Both have been filling up this comment section so... Let's check them out 💯💯
@@SuperiorPosterior yeeaah mate have you seen the show?

For Myth&Roid songs:
"Shadowgraph" is the Opening for "Boogiepop and others"
"Endless embrace" is the ending for "Made in Abyss" season 2
"tit for tat" is the opening for "Cautious Hero"
"Rememberance" is the theme song for the "Saga of Tanya the evil" Movie
And we got a whole lot of songs in "Re:zero".

Saga of Tanya the Evil is based on light novel, not an manga. As for anime it has 1 season and also a movie. Season 2 was announced, but they didn't say release date yet.
The ending was actually sung by the voice actress of Tanya (Aoi Yūki).
She is my favorite VA 😊
Tanya the evil simply has one Season, with a second one currently in production. There is also a movie that released quiet recently. I would recomend reacting to it as it only has 12 Episodes and the movie it wont take to much time.
The movie came out about 2 yrs ago or so I believe since I saw it in theaters and an OVA "Operation Desert Pasta"
Don't forget the OVA "operation desert pasta" that goes between season 1 and the movie
@@draxomega ooohhhh desert pasta was a riot
Oh thank you so much for answering my questions about anime!
And I think this is one I will be watching 💯
@@GOTGames Another layer that needs to be taken into consideration is, since most animes are adapted from manga or light novels, a lot of them are built on ongoing, unfinished material. So say a very popular series gets an anime, there might be significant gaps between seasons to give some space for the original material to build up.
The best anime studios are also in high demand, and they could be sitting on a series they have adaptation rights to while working on more pressing-slash-important works.
@@GOTGames Hope you record your reaction to it!
@@GOTGames Could also point out that the movie does not have an opening but has its dedicated slow-pace ending "Remembrance" by Myth & Roid
Saga of Tanya would be a great anime to watch after you're done with AoT

Tanya isn't insane, you brainlet mongrel. Her goal is to stop fighting, to get away from fighting, and to oversee efficient business transaction and the useful spending of human time. She knows that wars are an insane waste of human potential, and, aside from surviving, wants nothing less than to end wars.
You watched only the anime, are an american, and/or are outright stupid.
If you were curious, the artwork shown in the ending is done by the light novel artist and most of them are volume covers-
The thing with anime is that most are only adapted for 1 season typically unless their source material is very very popular, and with a lot of these animes that are only ment to have a single season will sometimes return if the show was received well enough and has more source material to adapt into another season or movie.

Sage of Tanya the Evil is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Totally recommend for you to react to the show after Attack on Titan. Also it only has 1 season so far with a movie and a bonus episode. Season 2 is currently in production.
What makes the ending even cooler is that the Voice Actress for Tanya is the one that sung the ending song.
Here are a couple additional recommendations from my personal favorites that deserve more people talking about them, which I know you'll definitely enjoy:
- "Houseki no Kuni" OP and ED

Aoi yuki is a phenomenal voice actor, if she has a lead role in an anime chances are she would be singing either the opening or ending of the theme song
apparently shes been an actress since was like 6 years old or something.
So quite often you’ll see older anime that were wildly successful but only got a single season, because the publisher wants you to buy the source material if you wanna find out what happens next
With newer anime it could be either cancelled, publisher/studio is awaiting budget reports, or the anime is still in production (anime seasons usually have a few years interval unlike live action tv shows)
In Youjo Senki’s (Saga of Tanya the Evil) case, it’s still in production and will likely start airing next year
I can't wait for season 2, they are currently working on it.
Its a magical alternate world, based loosely on World War 1... but with magic, however its set in the early 20's and they mix in some WW2 references.
So really none of the above, but also all of the above, its a fictional world with mixed in heavy influences from our world.
Love this show and this opening and this character, and the voice actress is my favorite japanese VA, she's amazing. (And sings the outro).
It is set in an alternate timeline roughly between WW1 & WW2 technology wise - but with Magic users.
Release order of available things for this anime:
Season 1 > Movie > Operation Desert pasta
Season 2 in production currently (hopefully in '23)
Saga of Tanya is an interesting one.

Though I have seen people say that you should consider skipping the first episode with Tanya because it's sort of a setup episode and you don't miss anything, but after that it's CRAZY GOOD.
About the industry: Shows just might not be popular enough or there was other shows the studios went with first, or the source material like manga or light novels might not be far enough to get a good quality season yet. So... it depends.

Another good opening from Myth&Roid is "Tit for Tat" from "Cautious Hero"
the general idea is to make 1 or 2 season for an anime, longer ones are rare, those usually are there because they have long running mangas or they are a franchise that serves the purpose of having an iconic one to cover a long period of time.
for extra information you can watch shirobako it is about the anime industry
Honestly, I personally prefer the german cover of Los! Los! Los! by Selphius over the OG. Also, I'd recommend finding a subtitled version of either rendition, because it's a pretty good perspective on Tanya as a character.
You got 1 Season, 1 Movie and a Special. Season 2 is in Production. Would also recommend Anger, Anger by Myth&Roid(Ending of Bubuki Buranki)
i love how the rythm matches the anime itself. not that there isn't anything slow in the anime, but it's very much an insane alternate ww1 style war where war crimes are committed every other episode
..you are dumb and wrong. Other than this is an alternative WW1 story, nothing else you said is true.
my recommendation for today is Arifureta, the season 1 opening Flare and the season 2 opening Daylight are both very good
”So I'm a spider, so what” has the great openings and endings. The same girl that sang that ending also sings all of the spider ones.

It would be amazing if you reacted to the German ver. of Los Los Los by Selphius
Jojo opening please🤭❤
I love this show, I've rewatched S1 like 5 times solo, and many more times with reaction channels, and HAD to watch the MOVIE in theaters, can't wait for S2!!!!!!!!!!
Do fire force ops and eds next
I love the op and ed for Tanya. Expertly captures the feel of the show at its best, both in graphics and music. Fun fact, a lot of the art, especially in the ed is some of the original art done for the light novel the anime is based on.
In terms of Seasons: Tanya had a first season a decent few years ago, a sequel movie more recently, and has an actual second season slated, but is taking forever because studio NUT (yes that is actually their name) are juggling other successful anime. Unfortunately, Tanya is a bit more niche than Overlord and their other anime. But it is coming darn it!
I think you'd enjoy the OP for "Bastard" which has gore but also fanservice.
Funny Valentine be like
I've watched this show over 5 times. I don't know how often you upload actual show reactions to your channel or how willing you are since I just found you, but this is definitely one I would love to see somebody like you watch, especially from your first impressions from the songs.
I suggest that you react to Spy x Family openings and ending. They are so good. There are 2 of each
About animes with only one op and ending, it depends.
For your question it really depends on stuff like:
- Is it based on an light novel/manga?
10:20 You say that; that the opening is usually intense and crazy and the ending is chill and calm, but I bet you haven't seen Asobi Asobase. 🧐
so the tactic nowadays seems to be for anime based off of light novels is that usually it's only 1-2 seasons to kind of hype up the novel and encourage people to buy them with certain animes getting more seasons if they really pop off. it's not that they're cancelled but more used as promos for the books.
I would absolutely recommend watching this its amazing
And the anime isnt cancelled, after the fiirst season aired a movie was made as a de facto second season while the real second season is still to come.
Aoi Yuuki the voice actor also has some great other songs like the "Im a spider so what?!" Endings or all her songs in "Symphogear"
Also you miss an ENding there is a second one xD
Tanya has 1 season and a movie with a second season coming out in the near future. Anime is typically primarily a commercial for merchandise and the source material(manga/novel). Getting more seasons depends heavily on how well it manages to sell merch/manga/dvds. Funny thing about Tanya is the show got a second season due to the mangaka of Overlord insisting on it in exchange for greenlighting season 4. It's a great show/novel. I don't like that they editorialized the name when they localized it the actual translation is "The Military Chronicles of a Little Girl".
Going through your Attack on Titan reactions, a few things that I recall you saying are:
- You like dark and gritty
- You like training sequences
Based on that alone, I think that Saga of Tanya the Evil would be up your alley.
Without getting into spoilers, let's just say that one of the themes is "Machiavellianism".
saga of tanya the evil is way too underratedd
Loved watching your reaction!
BTW, the images in the ending are art from the various light novels.
The Deadman Wonderland Opening is an absolute must and for more Myth & Roid A Cautious Hero Opening 🙏🏽
oh there is a movie out and season 2 is on the way ^^ very good show and VA of Tanya (Aoi Yūki) is fenomenal.. i love her.. :D she sang the ending and its so good :D im 100% recommend watching this
fun fact los los los was sung by the voice actress for tanya. Also the art work for los los los was taken from the novels.
It is a really good anime. And yes, WW1 but with a twist, it has mages xD. It has 1 season, 1 ova, and 1 movie (kind of a s2). But I don't think it is canceled. Good anime to react to aswell, and it stands great by itself with or without a s2.
Season 2 was announced for it last year! But we haven't heard any news yet, hopefully they'll release the trailer soon.
Often when there is only one season, it's because it caught up with the manga. The manga goes on for a few years, then you get season 2.
Youjo Senki did get a movie. And season 2 is in production right now.
This show is highly recommended, from 12 episodes, OVA, and Movie. All of them is a must watch!
The ED is probably one of the best I’ve ever heard
Last year we got a hint from their official twitter that there might be season 2 of this series, but up until now we still haven't heard anything else
It did get a movie also that picks up where season 1 left off
thanks for reacting for the real things
The shows don't get cancelled, they just don't get a second season because of one reason or another
