Small correction on your dupe protection point, you're not entirely correct. There is dupe protection but only within each set. So if you finish blood moon, you can get dupe blood moon before getting a unique from a different boss set. You're not guaranteed to greenlog before getting a dupe assuming you're killing each boss the whole time. That's why it's better to stop killing a boss once you've finished it and just kill the ones you're missing pieces from

If you don't want to do full quivers, one thing you can do is bring gear in for the first few waves, and if you get offered splinters wave 2 and/or wave 3 you can complete them and leave after. Wave 2 and 3 can offer 150, and wave 3 can offer 500 which is nice. Also the new hueycoatl boss is supposed to drop splinters which will be interesting.

small correction on quiver stats, anything ammo wise thats in the quiver and is shot from it gets an additional 1 str and 10 accuracy (: so its +2 str and +20 acc when using he tbow zcb etc and only 1 and 10 when using like bowfa bp etc

would recommend to keep getting sol kcs tbh, so much depth and skill mechanic wise you could learn (if u choose to go for certain offticks) would transfer to all of rs which is pretty usefull, moreso than the w1 resetting.
would go as far to say that w1 resetting is actually a waste of time. sure you would die here and there at maybe ur first 10kc but after that it should be smooth sailing. you would prob need 20-25kc depending on splinters rng and that would be way less than 30 hours
youre assuming i have bis gear to get through the waves. theres a hell of a lot more skill and rng involved when youre not using a shadow/scythe and, frankly, im just not the type of player that likes to ALWAYS be challenging myself like that
@@LowSoulGamers im not assuming that at all blade of saeldor really ain't that bad. alot of ppl dont even opt for shadow fremmys and just go with trident/sang for some cushion on supplys. you gotta do you brother, just a simple recommendation nothing more or less!
Great video! I personally like the duplicate protection mechanic at Perilous Moons. I’d like to see them implement it in more places across the game, because it’s very demoralizing if you’re going for a specific item and keep getting duplicates of every other item

Dupe protection is so against the spirit of the game to me. As a giga late game iron it would just ruin my enjoyment. Its okay to have it as a 1 off niche thing but i hope they never do it again.
What plug-in is it you use to make the screen flash red when you're afk for too long??
I understand why you choose the wave 1 resetting method for the splinters but its not exactly the method that gives good fun to watch content
ive seen someone think they've lost there bolt stack putting the quiver in the bank it stores it even if its unequiped guy on stream spent over 10minutes on his bolt stack that was gone but wasnt gone
never bring your own stuff to moons the potion is a super combat and a prayer potion in one and the food is decent i think wasting supplies bringing stuff into moons imo
You don’t need the full set for the CA. You only beed to kill one of the moons with it’s own weapon. And even then it can just be the last hit
That was a change that happened a few weeks after the CA came out, not at the time of this video
I’ve got the full range set and 4 helms with pretty much no other items. So much for dupe protection for me
dupe protection is per set, not as a whole, i kinda mis-stated how it works because it wasnt fully known at the time

The quiver actually gives even more bonuses than what you said (I’m around halfway through the vid) it doesn’t show it in gear checker cuz it only applies to weapons that use ammunition that can be stored in the quiver ie works with tbow
not with blowpipe / craws etc
It should be +2 str +18 accuracy over assembler iirc
I honestly think more things need badluck/dupe protection, and will fully call out anyone who disagrees as a boomer.

@@damianjohnson6935the proposed dry protection at 5x that blew up on Reddit is the opposite of spooned. There are so few ppl at every single boss in the game that that would even apply to, let alone the amount of ppl that qualify for the drop protection from that small amount is 0.04%. This means 600 normals toas for a fang for example, or around 400 hours
