What a beauty of both of them, you can see where the filly gets her beauty from, Mom is such a beautiful horse.

Anybody it would mask the natural sounds of the rhythm of the hubs, the sounds of the horse's breathing, and other natural sounds, is it terrible video producer. Great horses great Ranch crappy music

The music masks the talking of the people in the arena during the video, which is most of the noise the microphone recorded. If it was all natural sounds of the horses, then the music wouldn’t be necessary. Unfortunately, if this video didn’t have the music, the comment section would be full of complaints about the sounds of the annoying people who can’t shut up lol

I've followed Zenyatta since her racing career. In some pics she is dark brown, almost black. When she was in the paddock , she was very light. The sun would bring out the beautiful dappling in her coat. Horses are God's gift to us!

Wendy M. Williamson Zenyatta is seal brown, even at her darkest, her nose has the lighter cinnamon coloring around her nostrils. This particular filly and her dam are genetically black, they both lack the genetic modifier that would make them brown or bay. Her dam was coat color tested by a top lab just because there was curiosity if she were truly black since she fades so badly in the summer, test results came back Ee aa (heterozygous black, no presence of agouti to control black pigment which would make browns and bays - black + agouti = brown/bay). They just got bleached by the intense summer sun, and foal coat colors are more prone to being bleached :-)
This filly is all grown up now, full adult color, midnight black from tip of nose to tip of tail ;-)

kk doc genetically black, sun-bleached summer foal coat. Very few blacks are midnight black all year round when kept outdoors. Her dam is DNA color tested black and fades in the sun making her look not black. Winter coat grew in midnight black, years later currently she is very black in color. The lightest she has ever faded in the sun is in this video at only 3 months old. :)

Sun bleaching does that. Both are genetically black, not bay. Confirmed with UC Davis lab tests. Most blacks, especially among Arabians will bleach out due to sun and/or sweating. The rare blue blacks won’t fade. :)
