The most amazing thing about this scene is, how her face expressions stay the same all the time. I mean, her shocked face prob. looks the same as her happy face. how did she become an actress and why.
That could work for some characters, like Neo in the Matrix, the expressionless anomaly. We have seen the Galadriel character a plenty to know how she acts and looks.
Well Sauron was being truthful from the very beginning it was Galadriel who twisted that truth into lies so Sauron sees the opportunity to rethink about his plan and abandoned to submit into the light once more it was Galadriel who re-created the Dark Lord atleast on this show..
"I'm a god-like intelligent being. Let me choose a easy to trace royal family blood line to disguise myself as so I can remain totally unknown while in hiding"

I forced myself to finish the season and see if I would continue to s2, and this scene hands down saved the show for me. could have quite easily kept the lie going..... 'he had a secret affair and produced a son i am the descendant of this bastard line' 'oh ok i cant disprove that lets go see that craft'
That would require him to lie, and he didn't want to lie to Galadriel. If you go back and rewatch he never lied to Galadriel. He said he got it off a dead man. The only thing he kept from her was that he was Sauron, and even then he was considering telling her but she told him to forget his past.
before the great war at the end of the first age, Sauron in werewolf form was humiliatingly defeated by Huan , a Valinor Hound, who helps Luthien to free Beren

They had a blank page in front of them. They could have created a story including the two wizards who didn't appear in the Lord of The Rings, they could have set it in the far east and south of Middle Earth. Hold the books and extended DVDs tight, people. I will truly be amazed if we see anything good from Tolkien's fantasy again.

@@WasephWastarThey made Elrond look like a sissy boy . He was a fighter not a eunuch!
Sauron and Elendil I'd say. The rest though...
Its amazing how he went from halbrand to sauron in the later movies
Other than breaking a guy's arm in self defense, what evil thing did he do? he wasn't even responsible for mordor. Like he is literally just a dude who just shows up in place A and place B and just went along with whatever the characters were going to do anyways.
It's not what he did in this series, it's what he did before.
@@valeriewinter6217 show don't tell
The only good thing about this show are the costumes and set designs
If you cut out Galadriel, the series improves dramatically.
Moob armour? 😂
A ghost also said the same thing about isildur's line being broken :D halbrand should have said "It has been remade"
Rings of Power and UA-cam Shorts.....when you wanna throw up at once!
More like 30 seconds into episode 2
"Im a jedi knight in hiding due to the Sith trying to hunt us down...SIKE IM SAURON BISH ***zaps galadriel w emperor palpatine lighting hands***
"I'm a god-like intelligent being. Let me choose a easy to trace royal family blood line to disguise myself as so I can remain totally unknown while in hiding"
“It’ll need to be something smaller.” If only her line was, “That’s what she said.”
This scene and reveal are actually really good. I like it, it definitely could have been better but this scene at least is very good in concept and execution whatever other problems there are with the series. I still resent the compressed timescale though.
I forced myself to finish the season and see if I would continue to s2, and this scene hands down saved the show for me. And those quick shots of him standing outside of Mordor actually got me excited to see what’s next. It’s possible it could really pick up in quality or continue to be mediocre at best, but I don’t think it’s bad to be optimistic.
@@Buttcakes15 LMAO this show is a rubbish and and abomination to all of Tolkien works. Lacks logic and makes you root for antagonists. I never imagined i would ever support for orcs, this show made me do that. What a shame...
@@Arcadius8 get a life
Whole scene is half asleep - the dramatic equivalent of me telling someone sorry, I’m about to fart.
It’s heartbreaking as a lotr fan to be told you’re getting a serious, and this is what they gave us…..
Honestly, the writing wasn't bad if we remove the relation to Tolkien's legendarium. But otherwise, meh.
He was always sauron he didn't become him in this scene wtf 🤣
It looks like whoever made this reel only watched the show but doesn't know anything of LOTR
I feel like you just need to watch some bad TV to know exactly who that dude is when she ends up on the raft. It was so obvious.
Nerdrotic was calling this after the first week. This "twist" came as no surprise to anyone able to rub 3 brain cells together.
As someone who didn’t read the books nor know more about the lores besides the original trilogy, hobbits, and games, this was a surprise for me!
@@heavensign3101 you have my condolences
I knew he was Sauron when the marketing called him mysterious. Show hadn't even started yet, and I was telling everyone I knew who he was. Pretty darned pleased with myself, actually.
God you must have loved the Star Wars Prequels.
How could a wise old elf like her be so stupid. If you expected him to be any kind of real threat you wouldn't confront him all by yourself. You'd play it cool until you were around backup
This was a big reveal in the finale for something we knew the second we laid eyes on halbrand 😂
could have quite easily kept the lie going.....
He could have done anything to avoid revealing himself like an idiot
before the great war at the end of the first age, Sauron in werewolf form was humiliatingly defeated by Huan , a Valinor Hound, who helps Luthien to free Beren
His looks and that glance is something that made me excited ❤🎉
The moment Sauron turned into Sauron.
What a load of unnecessary nonsense. Sauron was revealed when he first used the One Ring. An incredibly wasted opportunity.
They could have done ANYTHING with this series.
Saron character is my favorite. Definitely most interesting
"He had no hair".. that explains why he's not part of the bloodline haha.
The actress is Morfydd Clark and she was born in Sweden but raised in my home town of Penarth. She can actually speak Welsh
this dress is so beautiful, she looks sososo beautiful
* The moment ROP completely butchered the timeline , chronology and characters of the 2nd age* From the very beginning.
In this series, the only thing breaking was my wind.
Name of series?
"Yup...No king of the Southlands, the showrunners made it up. And Me essentially..." 😬
This genuinely looks awful! I hated the star wars sequels but I gave them credit where it was due, visuals were amazing, I liked the cast it was just awful writing. But this looks cheap, the dialogue is awful! And the cast just all seem so …. Well awful!
On a positive it’s making the Hobbit look a billion times better! 😂
I thought this show was done really well and can’t wait for the next season In august just a few weeks after my birthday
Then they gave him a wig! "Where did he go!?"
"I'm Sauron and I really want to help you build these rings of power."
"Go away Sauron!"
Later
"He probably had a motive for wanting us to construct these rings... Oh well let's go ahead and do it anyway"
I think you missed the reason for why they were making the rings in the first place. The elf’s would have to leave middle earth or die without the rings.
why did she wait so long to wonder about his birthright 💀 imagine confronting the dark lord by yourself with no backup 💀 imagine the dark lord not killing his greatest threat while he could. oof
He had a secret heir. Bam. You can spin that easily.
The moment that absolutely nobody was surprised. Or cared...
This show is sooooo bad, very bad!
What specifically ruined it for you?
Two rings for like.. a marriage?!
Best part of the show was the credits rolling. 99.9% of everyone watching the show clocked it as soon as he washed up. Blows my mind they made a series to surprise us with what we already knew.
The reveal that was so obvious that the only people that didn't see it coming were the characters in the show. Granted, I hesitate to call this collection of person shaped 2x4s characters.
😂😂😂!
he wanted to make wedding rings
Hes such a romantic
No. He wanted to corrupt Galadriel like he does with many others. She isnt special to him in the way you think. Shes a useful tool to him. Nothing more.
Please how did this Galadriel transform into a powerful being in LOTR?
Exactly mate ,my question also. I mean she was very powerful in lord of the rings movie, but in this series she hasn't magical powers, she is just brave warrior lady.same for sauron,he is darklord sauron but all that time he is acting normal human no magical powers
“I lied to impress you. I’m just a commoner.” Seems like a better thing to say than “you’re right, I’m Sauron” 😂😂😂
"I told you I found it on a dead man"
I don't give a fuck what anyone says, this show was awesome! Can't wait for season 2
Sauron looks nothing like hes supposed to look
Sauron could have said anything else and avoided detection.
"I found it on a dead man, I wanted to be something more, I'm sorry I lied to you"
"Ok well you seem to know your shit so you can stay and oversee the rings"
Instead he revealed he is out there making plans to conquer middle earth alerting everyone.
And all 8 people left watching this were not shocked in the slightest..
Hallbrand didn’t turn into Sauron he was Sauron.
or Halbrand its still a Puppet… like the way Grima/Saruman did with Theoden
This isn't even the story so who cares lol just prime killing something that could have been huge
"THE MOMENT HALBRAND BECAME SAURON"
bro who the fuck is a halbrand?
Halbrand was Sauron in disguise.
@@v.9964 SHOCK FACE. tyvm
@@LyleAllbritton you should watch the show , Sauron was just in disguise
@v.9964 I watched the show. I was being sarcastic. It was pretty stupid.
It's stupid to think that Galadriel would have let the unSauron get that far. She is supposed to be one of the first to see through Annatar's bs
Sauron really is like the devil, he can't lie and always told her the truth.
She was the best part of this show. I hope we see her again.
Show was awful. Sauron actor was good tho
$1 billion dollars and we get this steaming heap of absolute trash. Needs to be deleted and redone
Not coming slow, are you?😂😂😂
He could have continued to lie. I like to think he told her the truth because he was actually in love with her.
Just from the thumbnail, I thought either this scene was from a game or it's made by AI. She looks like a video game character in the best graphics possible.
Sauron would have disapproved. So would Galadriel
The writers of this show should be switched before season 2 comes, because if this shit continues, the entire framchise will suffer
