Now you know why I recommended this. It is absolutely amazing. Most of these actors and actresses are also permanent characters the same in The Villains Lair series. A few aren't. And some of the costumes are a little different between the two. Tony makes all the costumes for all of their videos from scratch. No patterns. He's made a few for Voiceplay as well including the ones for their "In The Hall of The Mountain King" video. Layne and Tony wrote, directed, produced, edited, etc this and all their other videos.
This stand alone video featured the live action Villians. Their series Villains Lair feature the animated villains. My favorites from that series (and ones that don’t depend too much on the story line) are Tough Love and Oogie’s Got His Boogie Back. I also like a music video-type video they did when Cruella came out. It’s the song that should have been in the movie but wasn’t. Tony and Layne write the original music for these, build the sets and produce, direct, film and edit themselves. Tony does all of the costuming and makes most of them himself. (His mother and grandmother were seamstresses and he took an early interest in costuming, even though he studied animation.). For the Cruella video he was proud that he could give Cruella her Dalmatian coat.) Living in the Orlando area, they have their pick of incredible talent. A few people have even played multiple different parts for them, and it’s really hard to tell that when they become the other characters. People that are currently characters for Disney or Universal can’t play those characters elsewhere. But they can play others and once retired they can reprise those characters here.
They are ALL so talented! Every last one of them. They should be hired by the big time people for the work they do! However, we probably wouldn't get these little Gems. lol. I love the production value.

And that’s really cool!

I really LOVE that Cruella song! And they gave it a very '80s feel that seems to me to fit perfectly with that 'fashion' theme.
Loved this one!
