- F. Liszt - Symphonic Poem "Les Preludes", S.6250, arranged for 2 pianos
Arrangement of his Symphonic Poem "Les Preludes", S.97, for piano duo.
Composed for orchestra in 1850-55, after Lamartine's eponymous poem in Nouvelles Méditation poétique, Liszt also started to arrange his own symphonic poem for 2 pianos and piano 4 hands.
Also he arranged and revised this masterpiece to solo piano, which was firstly arranged as a draft by Karl Klauser. (Numbered as S.511a ; • Liszt/Klauser/Liszt - ... )
pf. Tami Kanazawa & Yuval Admony
The piano version hits differently, but is still stunning.
The same thing but vice versa
