Hi, nice tutorial, I wonder if the structural floor wont follow the cad form isntead of the beams and roof elements. Also thera are som plugins that maake the same operation, an there is an easy dynamo rutin for this proccess

Hi Miguel - Thanks for taking the time to comment. Yes, it can be time consuming but it's free! and it gets results. I haven't yet come across another method using only native Revit that is better (Add-ins can do it faster). What do you recommend? Interested in hearing your thoughts.
@@SergioBarata hi Sérgio. I hope i can advice better but i can't . i am currently learning revit and i find out that for landscape architects we need a dedicated tool like environment wich is another 500€ minimum. I still do not understand the lógica of using a roof tool to draw kerbs. Is not possible to extrude a surface like in SketchUp for example? Sorry for my comment don't get me wrong.
@@mpereirawolf no offense taken - I agree, it is frustrating. That's why I made this video. I know logically it seems strange but it's the best workaround I have found without having to spend 500 euros. I hope you find the right balance - boa sorte!

Thanks Israel, the goal here to keep everything native to Revit because not all plugins are free and not everyone knows how to use Revit 😀
I create a roof from importing the dwg topography and then just put the curb fascias on the roof. No need to do anything manually except the curbs.
Cool - Thanks for sharing.
