Thank you! I was looking for this information, and you explained everything so well. I have subscribed to your channel. I have a side question. I see at 2:00 that your bundle error numbers are very impressive. 2 millimeters. I never get those numbers. Usually, I get from 5 to 8 millimeters. What scanner and settings do you use to obtain that precision?
Thanks for the comment and for subscribing. I used BLK 360 and just try to get a really good amount of overlap by scanning closer together.
@@SergioBarata, thank you!
nice intro!
Cheers 👍
Very handy trick, thanks Sergio!
Awesome 🤩 thanks the comment.
nice explanation but i cant see any line
Sorry mate. If you want send me your file and I’ll see if I see find a solution. You’ll find my email on my page.
Hi, thanks for the information. I need to scan a 5 floor building, do you recomend first scaning the whole stair from floor 1 to 5. And then completing the floors or another's method should be better?
Scans should follow a natural walking path. Remember the showcase experience will be affected by your scan sequence. I don’t know the specifics of the site you’re scanning but typically I’d go floor by floor working my way towards the stair. Then on the proceeding level work away from the stair and loop around back to the stair before going up to the next level. Hopefully that makes sense to you.
your contributions are always very interesting, it's a shame that the attached audio is so poor
Turn on the closed captions
Thanks guys! I didn’t actually think the audio was that bad. But I’ll keep it in mind for future content. I appreciate your feedback.
Hi could you please make one video for how to copy the room tags from linked arch file to exicting mep files...
You can do this by linking the arch model and then tagging the rooms…just make sure that the "include elements from linked files" option is enabled. From here you add spaces for your MEP calculations.
Well-structured and easy to follow! Thank you for sharing, Sergio!
Thanks!
It’s for advance revit user only. Pls it from beginner level,, mean step by step from strat to finish if possible. It’s very nice but as a beginner can’t catch all
Adaptive families are not for beginners. If you need a stair, start with the native stair tool within Revit.
Hello, is it possible to send me the CAD file please ? Thx for the tutorial !
Please send me an email…otherwise, I can’t send the files to you.
@@SergioBarata yes ! I already did !
I knew it was there the option... the thing is that I'm using now revit 2024 with the new toposolid and I can't find where to modify the spacing between contours...
Select the Topo-Surface and then select Edit Type in the properties palette, then in the dialogue, under Graphics, see Contour display.
Good Day, Please kindly send me the stadium file. Thank You.
Have you emailed me?

Hi, may i delete those andra projects efter merging?
Hi, do you mean delete the redundant projects after the merge? Yes, you can, but it’s always a good idea to have the “fast archive” if you ever need to go back to it for some reason.
thank you so much!!! I was trying to figure out a work around for this and this vid gave me the information I needed!

Hi, thank you for your tutorial. Please I just wanted to know how you drew your reference lines (especially at the arcs). What it keeps telling me after I make the outline and try creating form is this: Unable to create form element: self-intersecting or singular geometry would result. Regards.

@@nhutphamce, that’s awesome! Thanks for commenting.
Hello sir, thank you for the very helpful video. i'd like to ask you if there is a known way to restore the back up file deleted by revit . what i mean is , if the maximum is 3 backup files, and the folder contains 5 backup files, then Revit deletes the oldest 2 backup files, and is there a way to restore those files. Thanks
Revit can only recover back-ups that are still on your computer.
Sergio, great video thanks. In the minute 6.45 where you present the end result: how do you create the wall type detail/cross section? Do you use Legends? Thanks in advance
Hi, in this case, it's the actual wall, drawn in a "pre-phase" so that it doesn't impact the documentation.
@@SergioBarata Thanks, Sergio! How about the label under each wall type? When I do it with Legend I cannot customize the text of my label under each detail and schedule
@@guerripablo Legends are limited with tagging. This is why I use the pre-phase system. The whole work flow is demonstrated in this video. Try it out.
Good video, thanks.
No probs.
Hi um is it ok if you send me the file of the stadium in revit in the video you made 2 years ago?
Send me an email.
Hello! Can I have the Cad and Revit files. Thanks a lot!

Thank you for this!
No worries!
Finding your video was a huge help and simply but exquisitely done. Made my week. Thanks a million
Thanks! Glad I was able to help.
7:04 cómo puedo hacer un make adaptativo ?
Hi, this is shown in the video.
Thank You for this top tutorial. I have one question . What about Toposolid in RL . I can not exactly cut the building (special Underground) from Toposurfaces. Or create Parking up of this surfaces. Do you have a some tutorial or can you help me ? 🙏
Thanks. Sorry, I have not experimented with toposolids in LT. Autodesk Help has some content that might help >> help.autodesk.com/view/RVTLT/2024/ENU/?guid=GUID-219D434E-7E06-4F77-A41D-526D1336F900
@@SergioBaratathank you for answering. Yes I have seen this video but it doesn’t work when we have the underground with many walls . The topography doesn’t cut everywhere. 😢
So helpful, thank you!
You’re welcome.
Sir sorry for confusion, 2:48 u said survey point "Uncliped" but u r dragging with "cliped" as it clear showing 0,0,0 while doing ......
I'm not sure how you've come to that conclusion. 0,0,0 is not an indication that it's unclipped. The video shows that the survey point is not clipped when it's moved.
@@SergioBarata Hello Sergio, i think its shown unclipped as the clip doesn't have the pink/red cross bar on it. Still great video, thank you for sharing.
Thanks! 👍
Thanks nice video, 2:46 why at that corner only u choose to locate the survey base point ?
It could be any corner. I chose that one because it’s closer to a right angle…it’s an obvious choice to help with tutorial comprehension. You can even cross check all corners if you want.
Please send me the cad file i have already sent you an email.
Sure thing, I’ll send it soon.
Thank You
🙂
Can Revit LT view a Cloud model? Not to edit it, but to view it, thank you.
Do you mean Point Clouds? No, it can’t. Or, do you mean ACC/BIM 360? It can view them but has a basic workflow as in download and link.
i dont have the extents option what should i do please !
Do you mean “section box”?
hello. i have some terminology problems. what it means "bundle error"?
Hi, it could be that the bundles are misaligned.
Great tutorial, can I please have the cad files
can you get to the point already
Why not just copy the view and rotate the crop region?
Because scope boxes are used.
Hello, can I have an autocad file please😅
Not available for this file.
I think a slightly more flexible method would be making railings from generic components that can be built up like puzzle pieces, such as corners, ends, returns, stairs, etc. Or better yet, Revit fixes the railing tool so thousands of Revit users don't spend millions of hours wasting their time trying to make railings without using the broken railing tool.
Interesting point. Sometimes we need to find a work around. Thanks for the comment!
Is there a mobile app that can do similar
None that I’m aware of.
