I loved this video! I'm Cuban-American and English is my first language. I'm trying to learn as much Spanish as I can and this video was so helpful! I absolutely loved it. I've taken 5 years of Spanish but I'm just now learning the importance of learning simple everyday conversational Spanish over grammar and it's helped me so much.
You’re spanish is so good!!🤩 Spanish is my first language but my pronunciation fs gets worse while I’m away at college bc I don’t practice it as much as when I’m back home /: also, cap is cachucha & record or film is grabar/ filmar!! I hope you do more spanish vids in the future💗
thank youu😅😅 and oof yea i can imagine i def need to go live somewhere where everyone speaks spanish haha..but thank you for the vocab too hehe! i am gonna go through this vid and study all the words i didnt know lolol 🤪
A for effort. I'm fluent in both and I always say that what made the biggest difference was that my parents would only speak to me in Spanish at home. You're going to get only English at school and with your friends anyway, so why not dedicate home to Spanish? I don't understand parents who don't want to speak their native language to their kids at home. Knowing a second language will always be a benefit.
Yalie here! You’re so adorable! I know you’re an adult, lol, but I adore your personality (and I’m much older than you). I wish you the best! Boola boola!
Me encantó comó real que eras en este video. Lo hizo muy agradable y fácil de relacionar con su experiencia con español. Definitivamente va a ver más videos de ti en el futuro.
This was so helpful! I want to be fluent too! I think imersion was the part I was missing so now I'm watch shows/videos and listening to music en espanol :)
I was born here and raise in USA but I’m fluent in both languages since I was small and I speak read and write it bc I have 2 cousin and none of them speak a second language but my cousin who’s around a lot of Hispanic folks is learning a lot of Spanish bc he wants to be a baseball player

Hi ok so i'm watching this in 2021 and im an incoming frosh at yale and i got placed into L4 spanish...have u taken it/what is your overall opinion of spanish courses at yale? thanks :)))
oooo excited to have you at yale! so i placed L2 my fresh year, look an intensive L3/L4 class, and now im in L5. + i was in L5 when i made this video, and i am clearly not perfect at spanish. i LOVE the spanish courses at yale and the profs rlly work with you to make the class engaging + fun! was for sure a lot different than high school tho as there is a lot of talking and everyyything is in spanish. for me, L4 was a great combo of chill and challenge + there was def space to make grammar mistakes and all that :) learning language is def a process, but i looove how the classes are at yale
I haven’t watched your videos in a while but from this video my Spanish is about the same level as yours and I was curious to see if you have like Spanish conversational groups online or anything or like a forum, so are you wanna talk Spanish because I have been looking for local groups in my community and online for this specifically if you really want to study and get better granted as I said this videos from three years ago, so but just something to think about
this video was great! helped me practice my spanish too! pls make more :)
how is your spanish now
Jesus loves you John 3:16, Jeremiah 29:11, Proverbs 29:11

To record = grabar
(recordar is a "false friend" it actually means To Remember not to record)
This video was very helpful,
I'm so glad!

Tampoco es correcto decir "recordar" sino grabar. "Recordar" en español es como "to remember" in English.
"I like my eyebrows very thick" = me gustan mis cejas gruesas (o delineadas).

Thank you very much!
In the beginning, you wrote "esto es el sonido de mí...". A better choice can be: "este es mi sonido".
Jesus loves you John 3:16, Jeremiah 29:11, Proverbs 29:11
"They don't clog your pores" = no tapa tus poros.
Tengo prisa learned in 8th grade :)
Be honest what did you search to get here 👀
Lo correcto no es decir "fluente" sino fluida.
First
I like you
hey ive heard you shouldnt say "asi asi" just so you know

"Estaba tarde", no. "Estaba retardada", yes.
