Check out Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart live in Amsterdam. Also with Jimmy Barnes Stone Cold. Joe wears the glasses because the bright stage lights bothers his eyes. He has a guitar 🎸 collection of 400 guitars.
Joe Bonamassa started playing professionally with his father at age nine and during his summer vacation from middle school he opened for BB King. Now he owns the Billboard Blues/Rock album charts with a record 25 (both studio and live) albums to chart at #1 over the last couple decades. He owns his own record label, this is just one of the many collaborations he has done. Check out his stuff with Beth Hart like I'll Take Care of You live at the Beacon Theater.
Love me some Clapton!! A COOL duet of his is "The Calling" with Carlos Santana. One of his best for me. Have been waiting for a reactor to do it. My favorite Clapton tunes are "She's Waiting", "Layla", "My Father's Eyes" and "Pilgrim". He is/was someone Special.
Joe sent Clapton a letter asking him to step in at Bonamassa's concert in 2009. Joe says this Royal Albert Hall concert with Clapton really jump started his career.
Oh, my friend. Now you’re getting into my jam. Never discount Joe B. He’s phenomenal. Just saw him in concert at Red Rocks in Colorado. You and BP should check out a concert there. It was absolutely gorgeous. Joe Bonamassa is one of the best alive right now. If you wanna dip into his catalog, start with “I’ll Play the Blues For You”, live at the Greek Theater. Keep going. He won’t disappoint you. ✌🏻❤️from Texas
I don't know too much about Joe Bonamassa's music although I do know that he's an excellent guitarist. I know a lot more about Eric Clapton, he started in a band in the 60s called The Yardbirds, from there to other bands including the legendary band Cream and then eventually to a solo career. One of the best guitarists ever with a very impressive catalogue of music.

The blues (biker bars/blues clubs/juke joints, etc.) - takes me back to a time when my baby (AR's age) was just a baby. Bittersweet nostalgia...

A living legend and probably a legend to come.
Both artists are legendary. Great pick and great groove🎶
