Nice,
Do you have a sea runner 20 speed boat
Just found your channel. Very nice lifestyle you have there. Do you get Pollock to ?. All the best from Australia.
We don't fish Pollock here, it's found further to the South of us.. Thank you, all the best from the Bigland/Labrador
Old school fish come to old school men. You are among the chosen ones buddy 🤙
What type of skiff are you running? Where did you get it
cool
Living large in the big land!
Excuse my language , but “ yum, fucking yum “. Thanks pal.
Thank you William. That looks like a beautiful meal. How old would that fish have been?
@Karamjeet Grewal What we harvested is only a fraction of what we are allowed to, we took what we needed and gonna use what we take :)
@Karamjeet Bedi you said it you self it’s reproduced thousands of baby cod so I would say that it not that bad that they killed it
That's a real cod!!
William, put a cover on it when cooking, cooks faster and cleaner.
Wow...
Nothing like a feed of cods heads fried to a golden brown. No fork and knife for this fine feast.
Nice fish! What would a cod that size weigh?
I'm guessing around 60 pounds, wish we had had scales there to weigh him...
Feel like I am there enjoy eating fish.
Looks delicious! I haven't had a feed of fresh cod heads in quite some time.
Have you ever tried the cod liver or the puddick (stomach)? They're great fried
I'd fight the gulls for the stuff your throwing away haha l.
I like the liver boiled or roasted on a hot rock by a open fire.. We don't get squids here so we stuff the stomachs like you would squid, though they have to be scrapped and cleaned very well.. But these are not eaten often, I sometimes keep the live to extract the oil as well.. cod liver oil is good and also uses to make trapping lure...
Some people make a spread for their bread for the liver as well....
I've only ever tried the liver fried but spread on bread sounds good. I have had the stomach stuff and baked though, good stuff!
I'm in nova scotia now, so now good cod but most summers you can catch all the squid you can carry right off the wharf.
@@tyrel8830 When you boil the cod liver it goes more like normal liver after the oil comes out. I'm not sure if I can spell it right but the spread is called shiva. The only squids we get is when we are shrimp fishing and they are few and far between..
I'll have to try that if I ever get back home to catch some fresh cod.
We didnt get many squid back home either (up on the northern peninsula) but I do remember they came ashore once by the hundreds if not thousands. Filled a few buckets that day lol
👍👍
What was it eating ? I didn't make out what u said , huge cod👍
Was a cod fish in his stomach, eating smaller fish...
Jeez , never knew they would eat there own , cod head supper looked lovely 👍
😃🐟
It's almost as big as the head on my cod 👀
Oops ran over the line...lol. Been there before.
Nice fish, shame of it is that at one time many of the fish landed were that size or larger. Enjoy the eats, bye👍
Throw them back boy, toooo small!
NOT!
I have been a fan for ever. I spent 5 years actually living in the Goose as a soldier. But please please fix your sound. It’s so hard sometimes.
Enjoy it, there's a heart attack right behind it soon, love the videos thought .
Make sure you cut the throat on the fish let the blood run out or it will ruin the fish
And you're not doing it right
