Damn. He's so right about it being hard to switch a lot in a set between clean vocals and heavier. We didn't have a whole ton of content in my old band back in the day so I had to kind of make a decision and went ahead and sung most of the songs using extreme vocals. Sometimes live I would have to forgo a clean vocal part on a couple songs if they came later in the set. I was lucky though and my scream over the top of the section sounded pretty good too.

Professional journalists need to curb these tendencies and conduct themselves in a friendly but professional manner to get a revealing, and successful interview. I was blessed and met Ronnie James Dio in 1997 Prov. RI. Of course I was excited as hell, no pun intended but still conducted myself in a clam state of mind. We spoke for 30mins.

The thing that makes an interviewer bad is when he talks more than the person that they're interviewing. That's most interviewers. It's about them, not who theyre interviewing. When a fan of a band listens to an interview, they want to hear what they are a fan of, not the guy interviewing them. This guy is a toothache.
