Good show! Am I the only one who always turns the tracking bolt in the wrong direction first? Another quick check for level is to measure the thickness of both edges of a cant after you flip it over. New cables tend to stretch a bit.

Trevor what is the torque in lbs.ft. that my T-handle should be on my Norwood LM-30 ? Other mills suggest 30 lbs.ft. but I have not seen that in any of my manuals from Norwood or any of the videos.

The lumber mate 2000 bed and dog system was way more accurate than my 36 I have now. Definitely need some changes!!

I purchased the LM 29 and watching how he adjusts the level is only partially helpful. If you notice he says put a level on the blade and then the bunk, but does not show you even in the least bit how he adjusts it to be level. He just says it will be just fine.....which it is not just fine. How are those adjustments made to level it. Ive watched several frustrated owners who've said the same problem exits and they have cut washers in half and placed them under the black pads, one in the front, one in the back to level this but there should be far better instructions and videos on this. Did the video help me? No not in the least. Anyone can put a level on a blade or bunk but that does not show how to fix the problem .

Hello i have a question do you have to take the tension off of the saw blad when your not using the mill

Just thought I’d let folks learn from my mistake - kept throwing blades which bent in process. I literally gave up on the sawmill. And had a couple more brain surgeries. Then met some wonderful young men who agreed to help me figure it out. This is the third day, spent hours fine tuning the tension only to have the blade go out then back in. One of the guys figures out it’s happening at the same spot. Took the blade off, put a new one on and it runs true! So instead of giving up keep changing blades. I apparently bought a batch of bad ones
