Nice video, but basically you need 2000$ to have fun in Kelowna. I think kelowna needs a lot of work done to be a fun city for all the pockets not just the 100.000$ a year pockets
@Jacob Stahl If you do what the video says you will spend 2000$ and need a car to go to the places. Kelowna needs places for people not for billionaire's houses. Even the beaches near the city are all for the houses, try chilling on the deck, 5 minutes and they will come out and say, Hey that's private property!! it's a shame. Kelowna could be 10 times better.

Living here for 11 years now. The influx of people is terrible, the traffic got so bad it's crazy. Summer is the worst with traffic and tourism. I cannot believe how big it's been getting in the past couple years.

@@amberrocca1105 I was born and raised in Kelonwa and my whole family is now in Alberta. Cost of living is through the roof and jobs pay less on average in Kelowna. Beautiful place, would never move back in a million years.
I live here and dont even do that much here lol.. but its more because of the party scene and some of the bad expierences I have had here over the years outweighing the good... But its time to get out into nature more again, and have some fun! Lol and I just applied at Hotel Zed. You have inspired me though hehe :3 Maybe I will see you around ;)

Great video. But there is a huge reality you left out. The incredibly high crime rate that came with growth. Take a drive anywhere after dark and see what this city has really become. It's easy to show all the positive aspects of life here, but the reality of homelessness, drug use, and property crimes are increasingly dimming that light.
I live here, and it is absolutely beautiful, with so much to offer, but we are growing at a incredible pace, bigger city, bigger problems. Believe me i am not making a excuses for Kelowna, and drug use and homelessness is a big problem, but no more than other cities. Our climate and other factors have made it very desirable for undesirables. But it is amazing here. Cheers.

Yes it certainly is the most beautiful region in this country in my opinion, however neglect and simply turning a blind eye (city officials) has taken it's toll on the people who do live here. Resources are focused on tourist dollars. Nothing for the safety and protection of it's citizens. Sad but true.

Summer 2020 - Thai restaurant opens from Wednesday to Saturday, so unfortunately I won’t be trying it, smile the cycle not back to work yet, Krafty Restaurante opens at 10:30 on weekends and has no kids menu (and nothing kids friendly on the regular menu) The city is crowded, We took 2 hours to find a restaurant to eat breakfast with the kids! Almost end up on a Tim Hortons. Thank you for the nice video! =]
