Nice haul of crabs. I’ve found here in Florida the crabs will fight each other if they’re out of food. Use a zip tie on your crab door to find out if they’re being robbed
Great idea. I don't think anyone had messed with our traps but it was a good way of bringing up the story about the commercial crabber that had just approached us about someone taking some of their traps. I'm not the type of guy that takes from someone's family. Commercial crabbers seem to be at war with each other, if you ask me, fighting over territory that don't belong to anyone.
Thanks for sharing nice Crabs I live in Florida and this is something that I want to do as much as I have been around Salt Water just never done it enjoyed it
Yes, they're yummy. We've have already eaten this catch. We cleaned them, covered them in a layer of Old Bay, steamed them and had a cup of melted butter to dip their yummy meat in.

I caught a huge rock crab 🦀 on my fishing pole on Saturday in Rhode Island and he/she put up quite the fight trying to real it in. I thought I had a shark. We tossed it back, but my husband wanted to eat it haha. I tend to toss back everything. Caught 3 Dogfish sharks too that night and a big scup and they all got to live another day. Hey guys! I just started watching your videos. I'm from north beach md. We go crabbing alot (couple times a month). And I use to use chicken or foul necks on my trout line. A few years ago my brother turned me on to razor clams for bait. Now I swear it seems me catch 2-1 using class vs chicken. So if we plan on going crabbing over the weekend, I will order razor clams and use live fresh bait. I use to think bait was bait & crabs would eat anything, but I swear those damn razor clams are what they tear up no matter what. Would love to see you guys try using razor clams for future footage. Maybe things are way different down south, but like I said the razor clams are definitely something the crabs love!
Yeah, I've seen a few guys from up in your area using razor clams for trot lining. They seem to work really well! We'll have to check into it & see what our bait shops offer.
