“Thanks, Rogue Group! I’m cle-“
“ROGUE SQUADRON WHERE’S OUR COVER!?”
We can't shake these TIEs!
"I'M CLEAR, BUT MY FIGHTER IS DOWN!"
*visible frustration*
That convoy's not gonna last much longer!
Ouch Shields are a little weak
"The Y-Wing is the workhorse of the Rebel Fleet, it's not quick or flashy but it get's the job done. The armor is extensive and the shields will protect you from just about anything, which is good because you won't be going anywhere fast. The Y-wing is used mainly as a bomber, as it can carry a heavy payload of missiles, torpedoes and bombs. The other important weapon is the top-side ion cannon, which rather than destroy its target can disable it for later capture. Our cannons have a computer-assisted auto-fire feature, so don't forget that when you're in the heat of battle."
Bless you laddie. Bless you. These words always pop into my head when I hear this theme.
"The Incom T-65 X-Wing is the fighter that killed the Death Star. An almost perfect balance of speed, maneuverability and defensive shields makes this the fighter of choice for Rogue Squadron, except when the mission profile disallows it. In addition to four blaster cannons, the X-Wing can carry a number of proton torpedoes. It’s powered by four fusial thrust engines, and requires an onboard astromech droid for peak performance."
I can hear this...
Ah, good times. I remember asking my dad at one o'clock in the morning how to spell "chicken" because I was trying to get to the secret AT-ST level. He was... not happy.
UFFF Threw me back some years
Not to mention the X-Wing also assisted The Rogue One team in stealing the Death Star plans above the planet surface and in the air of Scarif.
After all these months I finally found it... a perfect remake of the Rogue Squadron theme...
"I'm with Rogue Squadron. Impossible is our stock in trade, and success is what we deliver."
Pretty. What do we blow up first?
@@RRVCrinale Yub Yub Commander
If the Rogue Squadron film doesn't feature this tune we riot.
We'll be lucky if it features Wedge, Janson, Hobbie and Tycho.
@@devinfaux6987 it won't, the description basically says "a new group of pilots"... So yeah, I'm already seeing how it will turn out...
@@voodooemix2663 oh no wtf really?
@@RDR911 yeah, the director, Patty Jenkins said it
@@voodooemix2663 Still, it would be quite awesome if this music happened to be used as a reference.
Never underestimate a skilled pilot in a strong and nimble Y-wing outfitted for support dogfighting. It doesn't matter if you're in a TIE interceptor or a TIE defender, you will feel the hurt when one of those EMPs you and finishes you off with a heavy rotary cannon.
*sees title*
If what you told me is true, then you have gained my trust.
Ah the minor and brooding one. Sounds awesome. The sequel title theme was more of an uplifting space exploration vibe and this one is dark
The Rogue Squadron trilogy needs an HD port to switch
"port"
I'd prefer a "remaster" than a simple port
Licinius Varrus I’d prefer an Unreal Engine 4 remake on PS4 and Xbox One.
@@davidhill8565 Unreal engine for a starship shooter?
I never beat even the first game in that trilogy :( I forget which mission it was, but there was one I just couldn't get past, and if I used cheat codes to try later missions my fighter got absolutely mulched.
If there was such remaster, I'd love if Clint Bajakian's music had an orchestral arrangement.
Hope we will hear this theme in the upcoming Rogue Squadron movie
Fingers crossed!
This comment has aged like fine milk.
The way Disney is handling Star Wars, it will be more like woke Squadron
@@reidveryan9414 "woke Squadron" 🤓
except it's obvious we won't
Someone disliked this. Bet you money it was Moff Seerdon.
This encapsulates my entire childhood. This was the first game I fired up when I first got a Nintendo 64 back in first grade 20 years ago. Thank you for the awesome memories!
i know for a fact there's more than 8000 people that need to see this, make it happen youtube
Bright as day,
Dark as night.
No TIE Fighter shall escape their sight.
Let all who worship the Empire’s might,
Beware their power,
ROGUE SQUADRON TAKES FLIGHT!
Star Wars AND Green Lantern. Cheers mate.
@@Avenging_Archer
It’s even more awesome if you read it in Phil LaMarr’s Green Lantern voice!
As if I couldn't love your channel enough, you're taking on Star Wars tracks now! :D
Anyone else just remember why you love star Wars when you hear this theme 😉
Could you PLEASE do a version of the end credits from this game??? This is the best rendition I’ve ever heard when it comes to an orchestral arrangement for this theme 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Child hood me is jumping for joy tonight.
I was hoping someone had made an arrangement of this song with modern synth orchestral sounds. And here it is. Thanks so much!
Input cheat code:
R2: beep-a-ba-beeep-a-dee-bleep!
I'd love to hear Shadows over Jade Moon. It's such a good song.
I'm fairly certain to have heard this in the Empire at War: Remake mod.
And now it's in Empire at War Expanded: Fall of the Republic 1.3
Luke: Wedge Antilles, born on Corellia, had a hard life growing up. His parents were freighter pilots, killed trying to save a space station when Wedge was young. He's got a natural ability to lead and I wouldn't be surprised if someday Wedge became Rogue Leader - But he'd rather be flying missions than attending parades. An excellent pilot, Wedge saved my life at the Death Star, and I owe him. I expect to see Wedge do great things for the Rebellion.
Well isn't this just delightful!
I’ve needed this so much
Now this is the droid i was looking for! Loved it!
Banjo Kazzoie will always be my first and favorite game of all time but Star Wars: Rogue Squadron and Battle for Naboo will share the second place spot for favorite N64 titles.
I miss Kasan Moor and Wedge's crosstalk.
Kasan Moor: Wedge, how was the hover train?
Wedge Antilles: Food was good, but the service was lousy.
The nostalgia is strong with this one! So epic!

Thank you for this.
YOOOOO i like that!
Can be heard in Empire at War Expanded: Fall of the Republic 1.3 :)
STAR WARS ROGUE SQUADRON.
ON NINTENDO 64.
MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU.
please continue making music from star wars rogue squadron or rebel strike games
Yee!~
nostalgia
Rogue Squadron needs a VR port
🤩🤩🤩
i would like an orchestral remix of the menu theme for the other sequels. But this will do if that isnt possible.
👍
I'd pay for a lossless copy of this in a heartbeat.
Believe me or not... but I was expecting to hear this song during Rogue One movie...
espero que esta salga en la pelicula o serie que van a sacar
Why isn't the N64 collection avaliable on streaming services?
Awesome! What soundbanks were used?
I wonder why the music was so different for rogue squadron compared to the other games. I mean they didn't use the star wars theme just a pic n save discount version.
Sigh. Takes me back to a time when I still loved Star Wars.
Just because the new films suck doesn't mean you can't keep loving star wars.
@@clark5317 You're right. I just need some time away from it... give myself time to miss it.
And the TV shows are pretty good too. The Clone Wars, Rebels, The Mandalorian. Not everyone at Disney is mismanaging Star Wars, at least.
Good job and all, but wasn't this whole soundtrack already orchestrated in the original game? o:
In chiptune.
Si o si deben poner esta canción dentro de la película de Rogue Squadron
A theme befitting the son of Vader
Luke?
Star Wars Rogue Squadron IV: Resistance Squadron.
Now on Nintendo Switch. ( if it was true) 😿😿
Your playlist shows how much you ACTUALLY ARE a N64 fan. All great choices.
(or maybe you just had someone suggest you the really good ones. I dunno)
okay now I'm gonna have to ask, is there any chance you could be talked into doing the Jade Moon? Cuz this is pretty awesome.
You don't take requests by any chance do you?
Why does it remind of Batman music though? Also 0:30 sounds like something straight from Tim Burton.
Star Wars, the 1989 Batman movie, and the score for Aliens were all composed at the London Symphony Orchestra. Even though their musical equipment was outdated by the standards then, but John Williams, Danny Elfman and James Horner made it all work out.
Can you make my big dream? Can you remaster Happy Hogwarts from the old Harry Potter games? ❤❤❤
You should totally arrange the "cold odessy" soundtrack from kirby triple deluxe 3d
