Actually, the original composer of this song was Hirokazu Tanaka, but the MZM arrangement was made by Kenji Yamamoto. Other than that, this is the BEST orchestration of one of my favorite themes ever in videogames.
@@georgesikorski9891 no need to be rude. he's pointing out a legitimate mistake in the video. chill, he's not belittling the work or anything. artists deserve proper credit, I'm sure it was an innocent oversight on Evelyn's part.
You made what was an already tense song even MORE dramatic! I absolutely love the instrumentation here! The synth choir compliment the rest of the instruments here versus the original - Brilliant work!
I genuinely feel like I'm listening to the original orchestration that was sampled and compressed to fit the GBA file size requirements even though I know that's not how it was done (I assume anyway) and this isn't the original even if that was how it was done. Just like... nothing's missing! It's bloody perfect!
They remixed Lower Brinstar for Metroid Dread but they didn't bring waltz of the fat dragon back? How _dare_ they! It harkens back to the roots of the franchise, but _noooooo_ Quiet Robe just _had_ to have Lower Brinstar for his cutscene. Still, Lower Brinstar's reappearance was cool, but they should've at least have done Kraid's Lair as well.
Imagine if when you returned with Varia, Cataris was in a semi-destroyed state due to Kraid's rampaging trying to break free and you had to go the long way around. All that time, Kraid's theme is playing, seamlessly in and out of EMMI Zones

Definitely, one of the best tracks in the Metroid saga.

Ahh, I've been looking for this exact remix for a solid month. Heard it in a Zwag video and just stumbled across it! Serendipidous!

Do you compose original music at all? I’m sure we would all love to hear it.
