- S Jaishankar: S Jaishankar delivered a speech at the Pt. Hriday Nath Kunzru Memorial Lectures 2024 ‘Bharat and the World’. Defining what Bharat means to him, this is what he said. "Bharat is a declaration that when India engages the world, it doesn't have to be done on terms that are set by others' ', said External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. "Natural that Bharat will approach the world from the perspective of its own interests, world views and sentiments. Crucial to not let our approach get clouded by imported ideologies and global conformism," S Jaishankar added while describing what Bharat is.
