Im 31 with the house and all. I have been dreaming of living a less stressful life, RV or camper... Every time I come across another video like this, I think it means I should go for it. Im young and working all the time to just pay my bills really isnt living. Its surviving!! Happy for folks like him. This is awesome!
Go for it
Get a husband 😉
Im 43 realizing the same. Work work work. All just to pay pay pay. Hoping someday to be healthy enough in retirement to actually enjoy it. Sure doesent sound like being free to me. And not the way I want to live.
Rents Going uP 👆 YearLy ....Last 4 years Says Something Like iT ? Cant* Get any Worse, it Seems about Time To Pack Down & OUT !, Oh & 40% infLATION.
Great job by this guy. Hes living on his terms and gonna be stress free on his way out the door.
He’s living a good life and enjoying himself. He’s ready to travel soon.
He's living on his son's property. If his son decides to move to Florida, then he will need a place to put his RV, and have to pay for electricity and water and worry about zoning.
@@jaybloomfield5082 party pooper!
@@jaybloomfield5082 don't worry about tomorrow's problems today.
Living on his sons terms.
Whatever happens to this guy, I hope he is happy and lives a long life.
Old man packing more energy than an average 17 year old
Freaking A+ neighbor right there. Lol. He's got class. When he pulls up & docks property values go up.
I like this man. He’d be so much fun to hang out with 👍
Unfortunately you are spot on!
Unfortunately you are spot on! Our country is in deep trouble
i hope to have half that energy at that age
I am so glad that his son allowed him to park it there. Which will help him out a lot. Enjoy the rest of your life. You deserve it !
😊
Thank God he’s not living in a city like New York or Baltimore. The kids like to rob older people that’s why I carry pepper spray. I have “ Bear pepperspray” and “ Kid “ pepperspray.
You have a good son. Not as common these days.
Yeah not having a place to park that bad boy would be quite the issue. Especially these day's they are coming down on people who don't want to live their way unfortunately. Glad he's comfortable and has a place to call home. Everything else is gravy.
I’d be on blm if I were him or long term Rv parking ..like 200 for 6 months
Profoundly inspirational ! There's a little bit of all of us, within that "old fellow". Happy he's with his son, what a blessing !!
They’re old friends of mine, and they get along great! This is a series of interviews I’ve done over the years with folks living alternative lives. You can see some of the other stories on my channel.
I wholeheartedly wish him the best, seems like he's living his best worry free life👏👏👏.
Absolutely. He's living his best life!
I wish pop's would have showed us how da shower work he may have it hooked up to his son house
@@wildestcowboy2668WHY DOES IT MATTER IF he's HOOK UP TO his SON'S PROPERTY? PLUS, he SAID THATS he HAS TO GO DUMP his TANKS & CAMPGROUNDS HAVES DUMP STATIONS THAT ARE USUALLY PRETTY CHEAP TO DUMP THERES
I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF THE RV IS RATED FOR 4 SEASONS & HOW WELL IS IT IN THE WINTER TIME?? ALSO THAT IS A GREAT RV TOO ! I WOULD PROBABLY LIKE TO ADDS A SMALL WOOD STOVE TO IT TOO !?
@@Tammy121111 wasn't being a smart AZZ I been thinkin bout gettin a camper and I was just be wanting to see how his work Tam
When I watch these, I don't know if I like the vehicles and the lifestyle more or the owners. Beautiful people.
You Sir are a breath of fresh air! No self agrandizing monolog just down to earth keeping it real! I'm a vet also - 79 and traveling the country I wish you the very best!
I love this so much! I hope he enjoys the rest of his years and gets to do everything he wishes to!
I have a great deal of respect for you sir. You have taken advantage of all of your options and are living your life the way you want. Your humble persona and humility is the biggest lesson here. Our younger generation today needs to learn this. Be well brother.
I read a lot of the “younger generation” are already trying to do this. Maybe the internet has made us wiser
this dude is hilarious!! needs his own channel or tv show lol. thx for the content
Thanks for stopping in!
Yo for real this guy needs to make content!!
He said with COPD, he knows what's going to kill him. Funny, but not funny.
Agreed!
If you haven't noticed he has a channel your on it.
😂😂 This guy is a hoot! I wish him the best! So glad his son had property to put this great rig on.
DUDE, I AM A 63 YEAR OLD BROAD IN GOOD SHAPE. JUST BOUGHT A 35 MH. HOPING TO GET THE HELL OUT OF OHIO BUT THINGS ARE DIRE. GOOD LUCK BUDDY. MANY PRAYERS, AND GOD BLESS YOU!!!!
What a wonderful home! I love it! What a smart man you are! God Bless you!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts.
This is what men do . . . Absolutely beautiful 👏👏 👏 we will “always “ survive . .
Living his best life. Love this guy.
Tag registration every year is taxes. The diesel is taxed. If you own or buy anything, you will always pay taxes.
Great job brother nice rv I love the older ones , I live now 5 years in my Diesel tradewinds and love it wouldn't change it for nothing get tired I start it up and change my view!
I'm just getting ready to turn 40 this summer, and I've been dreaming of retiring to an RV life since I was in my 20s! I love it, and hope to be doing the same at some point.
Looks pretty cozy.
He has a great setup!
It's great. Your own private home & I love the decor it's fun, happy, warm & welcoming. Just find Radar Love playing on the radio.
Hello , living in a trailer is the best when you’re trailer is great at protecting you from the elements , the rain and thunder at night helps me sleep while I’m warm and dry , and when the wolves howl my door is locked and I feel safe , if the cold snow blows my heater is fired up , and I can always bake or cook in my trailers kitchen all year round, thank kindly all the best to you have an awesome day 😊
God bless and keep you sir!! Praying that the Father will give you long life and heal you from COPD. Go back to the VA and get what is rightfully yours. You served our country and they should serve you for doing so! Blessings!!
he said he got put out of the service ' under less than honorable conditions'. So he wouldnt qualify.
Yes, Amen. I'll pray for him also.
Best wishes to him. The key is to keep expenses down. Boondock everywhere you can to save on RV camp fees. Helps with gas costs and eat in the RV also. Keep going!
Sir I'm genuinely happy for you. I hope you have the peace and quiet you deserve.
Smart move. Nice rig ! It beats the high cost rent ect . In My area some places are going for $1,200 depending rent wise . Personally for that price you could probably get a RV & own it & fix it up the way you want.
I'm right behind you buddy . Good plan.
I like your way. Good retirement days👍. I am 57 in Finland and traveling always is interesting me.
I love it……that’s a home.
I was surprised how big it is inside. I’m used to the smaller van builds.
Good for you. You are blessed. Be happy, that is all that matters, you have what you need. That is Great! God bless you , you did the right thing. You are safe and have everything you need.
Thank you for your service! I'm happy for you that you have a place to live that's comfortable, workable and affordable. Thank you for showing us your RV home and may God bless you. --Don in Indiana
Living a realistic reality. I love it. I'll be right there with ya someday. Love the set up. Don't know if I'll ever be able to afford something that big. But I like how you did it.
He playing fallout!!!! That’s my game!!
This isn't "Off Grid" tho, he's very much so still on the grid lol but, smart Iiving change tho.
Nothing wrong with that dude. Looks like a smart move to me! 63 year old man here. Good on you!
Absolute freedom I can respect that myself
Thanks for stopping in. How’s your travels going?
@@AdventureGearTV great thank you! I’m going to stay put right now in the same locations but I’m absolutely loving VanLife!
Lovely home and nice to see you are living your best life with peace and serenity
1992 Fleetwood Flair Campers here still with the Retro 💪🙏
Nice rig man ! Thanks for sharing and congratulations on your new home !!
OMG!! This guy is great! they need to give him his own reality show.
That is a cool old guy. I always listen when someone like him wants to tell me something.
The sands of time are running so enjoy the moment because that's all we really have anyway. Enjoy the simple life!
I used to have a Safari 36 foot Sahara side entry. I enjoyed it a lot. It was very nice. But the only problem I had with it was it was cold in the winter. There wasn’t enough insulation to keep it warm in winter. I have noticed that is a problem and everything that I have gotten. So I guess you have to be happy to be you know barely warm or move it down to Florida or South Texas or South Arizona. Where it’s warmer to start with and that was my only complaint. Not Insulated enough for me.
I don't understand. You park where? for free?
Because everyone wants that deal
Yep. Looks like hes got electric hook up and everything. How would he live if he didnt have that place to hook up to? Thats not realistic for most people who have no place to park.
Add up all the fuel and its probably double what i pay in tax
@@richbowie76he’s not doing much driving though.
They said in the video it’s his son’s property.
Your a good guy and got the right attitude, more definitely isn't better in my opinion
It's really the best way to live and I am planning on doing the same thing. Go where you want to go and be free to see what you want and not tied down to one location. God bless you sir be safe and peace to you brother
I bought a 97 Volkswagen Rialta back in 2019 before covid hit, I fixed some issues with the bathroom and took out unnecessary things while upgrading other things, then on 2021 I lost my job and had to leave the apartment I was renting, I quickly left and lived in my RV and haven't paid rent since then, I found a job in 2023 and currently I'm still living in my RV.
You are a lucky man! Well done
10:48 😂😂 very common we dont notice until it rains
I live in a 2004 chevy aveo hatchback; this guy is living my dream
I'd live in it. Good for him.
Sounds to me like you are living life on your terms; and that's more than most of us ever get to do.
God bless this fellow and thank you for your service to our great country!!!! I hope you enjoy many more years at your new home!!!!🇺🇸
Love your spirit. Thanks for sharing a touch of your life with us all
Thanks for the video! All the best!
Major cool ! Salute to our veterans that help us stay free ❤️Peace and happiness shall they have and bring ❤️
WOW ... thats some home you have there ... great thing is that you can move it to anywhere you want too ... if you have a brick / wood house you never know what the neighbours are like or who may move in next door to you.
To me looks like you have just about every thing you need and you looks very well on it too,
Its good to be able to hear yourself think and not to have to put up with other people's noise.
Seems in the USA so many people are being ripped off with high rents seem to be a common thing how did it ever get like that ?
Hope that you enjoy your freedom for many years to come.
This is what FREEDOM looks like 😊😊🇺🇸
I live in my 30 foot motor home on the streets of North Hollywood California, I live totally off grid, I fill my water tank with 5 gallon jugs and run electric on a gas/propane generator, im 49, it fits my way of life
Good for you. We don’t have much time on this planet so we might as well enjoy ourselves 👍👍
Proud of you brother, and best wishes on what, I'm certain, is going to be one of the best parts of your life journey. Be safe, be happy and as we say over here, may the earth come up to meet your feet... Or in your case, tyres... 😉👍🏴
I LOVE THIS MAN! HE sooo reminds me of my daddy. They act so much alike...I'd love to just hang out and fish or look for arrowheads with him, or just listen to him talk.
Your doing exactly what I wanna do ,Just a camper will do for me .Wish you the Best 🙂
Thanks for sharing nice home. Greg from Coolangatta NSW Australia
Congratulations!
Very proud of you...your TV is awsome
I think RV living would be great. I often think about doing it.
I wish you the best of luck and I Thank you for your service.

Every person needs their OWN property, its so hard though at times..
😊 im very glad to meet you.. thank you for your service Sir.. i am getting ready to head out myself in my 36' Motorhome to start my life over again after a divorce from a 28yr marriage and 5 months later i lost my mom,my world.. she'd be happy I'm carrying on and doing something that makes me happy..

According to Outdoor Troop the average cost for overnight camp sites across the USA is “$10 to $60 per night with luxury sites raging from $70 to $150”.
So, not including vehicle insurance, or a payment for a camper or car, or gas and up keep and maintenance for the vehicles you would pay at least $300 minimum rounding up to $4500 a month just for 30 days in a camp ground.
Not as cheap as some make it seem..
That is really cool the gentleman likes Fallout 4. I'm not a power armor man but to each his own. Thank you for the content.
Good for you my Friend ! I wish you the very best ...
Glad your doing good brother live your life and enjoy yourself I'm glad to see someone not trying to be someone there not trying to live the high life and just enjoy who they are
I’ve toured across America many times in these things and yes the freedom of it is amazing however when it’s filled with say 6 to 10 guys it gets old fast and when these things break down you’ll feel the pain. Had to have one towed to a freighter liner repair shop maybe 20 miles it was $750.00 just for the tow and a two week wait for parts and repairs. I’d also be sure to keep it where the weather is mild. The roofs leak and they aren’t very well insulated for winter. If I was gonna do it full time I’d stick around Arizona,Nevada desert climate.
Good job, Old Sod. I'm 71
Dude I already thought you were pretty awesome then I saw F04 up on the tube.... you rock sir!
Nice! This is a series of interviews I’ve done over the years with folks living alternative lives. You can see some of the other stories on my channel.
God bless you dude ,u should go down to Arizona and join the other 60 and over campers
Thanks for Sharing… Great Move! 👏🥰👏
This is so cool, with the housing market crazy like it is, Great idea
Nice digs for a single old man.
Pretty cool he gets to see his family all the time.
Good for all. And his house is sweet.
Very nice !!! Good for you
I am happy for you. Your son could always put in a plastic drum with hook-up for your rv to have a sewage hook up in the ground for the spring to fall.A bunch of folks do it now days.I hope you have a good time. Some campgrounds offer seasonal specials and full hook-ups may to Oct for about $2000. which really is not bad.
Nice guy and a great home! I like it.
Thank you that's a great idea for me to leaving, I really appreciated!
A thoroughly nice guy doing what he wants. I feel better for just watching the video 👍
Cool home and thanks for your service
Great way to live!👍
This is what I'm going to do as well God bless you Sir!
You have the right idea buddy.good for you
I love this dude, and the setup.
More power to you! Hello from Chicago!
Many counties have senior citizen property tax exemptions. In ours, if your property is assessed at under a quarter million, you pay zero. So we have no rent, mortgage, or taxes.
I guess he is using his son's toilet. That's a pretty important consideration.
It’s a lovely home are used to have a safari Sahara it was 39 feet and I just loved it
I'm turning 60 soon and I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Selling my house buying a class A RV and just being coming in nomad
Awesome, man you got it.
You made the right choice. Maybe this senior gal will look at this way, instead of tiny home. Problem will be where to park it. And more importantly how much.
Good luck with your plans!
WAY TO GO!!!!!❤❤🎉🎉
