It could have been a better movie if the director knew how to film. Scenes of acrobatics at an angle? Serious. Come on... Charlize Theron suffered from the waste of time and dedication.
To be fair to the director, a lot of what was shot was cut. 30 minutes worth of material was cut and the action scenes suffered too. Where there were longer shots in the action, it was changed to quicker cuts to fit in line with someone else's vision. And not all the shots made it in. Karyn Kusama is a great director. The problem was she didn't get to put her own vision out there.
Like it or not, this movie was a pioneer of some shooting techniques. It turned out amazing!
I just watched the whole movie Charlize is beautiful as blonde, but with that black hair is mind bending.
