In his July 30,1954 concert at the Overton Park Shell his manager at the time --Bob Neal, spoke with Elvis after doing the only two songs that the trio had practiced. Elvis had thought that the audience was making fun of him, but Neal said otherwise and the rest is history.
I think your being very picky. Of course there are gonna be mistakes in this film but every film about Elvis had mistakes in it, especially the 1979 film Elvis the Movie. This film wasn't made for Elvis fans in mind but for the general public. Look at the film Braveheart, the mistakes and storyline in that but look at the impact that had on Scottish History and the awards that it won. Be positive, this is the film that every Elvis fan has been waiting for.
@@garrettmiles3644 yep. It needs to be mentioned that the details and storyline in this film have never been so accurate than any other film/tv series we have seen, especially Elvis' impact on the black community. Elvis was a major force in breaking down the race barrier in 50s America.
June 24th is getting closer. The rebirth of presleymania. I'm marking the days off the calendar until the movie. I am ready. I keep watching it over and over lol
This movie is gonna be EPIC!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 He actually sounds more like Elvis than the ETAs do. His moves are SPOT ON! And I'm loving the old school new school vibe! Priscilla said that Lisa has now seen it and LOVED it!

Ive been an Elvis fan since 1985, been to Graceland 4 times, attended hundreds of events over those years, read everything about him so i consider myself quite knowledgeable about Elvis. My thoughts on this are very very positive. This is so much better than any film on Elvis we have ever seen. Austin plays Elvis brilliantly and his voice is as good as it gets. Even better than Ronnie McDowell who is known as an Elvis soundalike and who's singing voice they used on Kurt Russell's portrayal in the 1979 film Elvis the Movie. I predict this film is gonna be massive.
@Sean Ryan: i've been a big fan of elvis presley since 1976 - a year before elvis passed away. i was 13 years old at the time and am still fascinated by elvis to this day. he was something very special and still is. it's great that you've visited graceland four times. i have never been to graceland, although it is my greatest wish. but unfortunately i'm afraid of flying and a boat trip takes a long time and is expensive. but i hope that one day my dream will come true. greetings from Germany.
@@matrix5000100 sorry that your fear of flying stops you from going to Graceland. Im also nervous whenever i fly which i think its quite natural. The last time i flew was in Aug 2017 and it was at night and when ur flying its just like being on a coach. It would be great if you could get the chance to visit Graceland.

@@Seanryan2001 I'm in Australia a bit far for me! I am I hour by car away from where they filmed ELVIS THE MOVIE! They built a replica of Graceland and also 5 blocks of BEALE street! For the movie! I'm hoping they keep it as a tourist attraction! I won't have too far to go! 🥰

ABSURD. Certainly Elvis early music is great enough to be sold today, listened to, and streamed. My guess is this was negotiated by Austin for the movie contract. Now we are going to have people buying the movie soundtrack & listening to Austin instead of elvis. And don't forget about any royalties to Austin for his covering Elvis music every time a soundtrack is sold or played.
