It is great to see Ms Koh! I have been using your books to teach along with ABRSM publication books. I think it is a typo mistake (IV- V) on the second example (i) of Harmonic Element. Should be (IV - I)?
Thanks a lot for your extremely valuable lesson.. However, Why did you doubled the ROOT on Vc in last example? (BBDF#) Shouldn't it be doubled the Fifth, instead of Root?
Thank you. These videos were done during the lockdown period. Will look into producing more in the near future when current new publications are released.
Lovely video Ms Koh. Would like to ask you; concerning question 2 of ABRSM theory exams gr6, about the figured bass. Is there any possibility to have uncommon and rare progressions, such as : V-II6-I6 in a minor scale??!!!
V-iib-ib will not work either in the major or minor keys. It should be iiib- iib-ib. V in root position progresses to either I or vi. It could move to Ib via a passing note in the bass which functions as the 7th of the V7.
@@KohJosephine thank you very much Ms Koh, for your immediate answer. Actualy was a progression of a figured bass, founded in an old exercices book, surely missprinted, so feel obliged for your answer.
Stress reliever, thank you heartily!

Hi, would like to check on arppegio 64 and arppegiated 64 are difference?
Hi, great video. On 4:26 you said the 5th's are in contrary motion but the alto voice F-C isn't a fifth though?
Good lesson, would prefer you make a video on harmonizing a given melody, without compromising it.
Great video!
Thank you. 😄
Hi , do you all videos tutorials from your book ?

The answers behind the workbook is it necessary to follow the standard? Or it has different other answer?
They are not the standard. There are other possible solutions of which anyone can use the answers to check against their own or their students’ work.
Lovely video Ms Koh.
