How To Use The Blob Brush Tool In Illustrator

- Using the Blob brush tool in Adobe Illustrator can make quick work of filling in large, or small, areas. Unlike the brush tool the blob brush tool creates shapes from your brush strokes. You can quickly combine brush strokes to add to current strokes you've make with this tool or make layered colours with different opacities and effects.

I appreciate that!
Hey Mike, the blob tool is life when using a Wacom tablet. Great vid!
Thanks Fernando! I really need to practice more with mine. Would probably speed up my workflow.
Thanx.

I figure I have another 20 years left in the industry, working full-time, but will be a designer until the day I die. It's crazy how versatile Illustrator is.
Mike I have one question to you. You pointed out in your video that blob brush tool works always with a fill color, but whenever I try to draw it always switch to stroke color after I make a first brush stroke. Is it something wrong with preferences or I'm using old version of AI, or some other reasons?
Sorry for the delay, hope you found a solution.
And my 2nd question is what is the practical logic of existence of blob brush tool as separated tool in AI? Which design features we can reach with it in contrast to brush tool?
Same as my other ressponse, if you didn't find a solution let me know.
