The 32X had the potential to put out some great tunes. Too bad we did not get more games to really make those sound chips sing. Thanks for posting. This sounds amazing!
Alright soundtrack.
This is 100% genesis sound (at least all the tracks I can remember of). Kolibri is a better example of what the 32X could do. And we know already that the Genesis could put out great tunes ;)
@@florianb3935 Thanks. As the year go by I appreciate that Genesis sound chip more and more.
@@malcolmar the Genesis sound chip was great in the eighties where it was top notch and there were many engineers trained at taking the best out of it, notably for arcades machines and pinballs. In the nineties though and especially in America, it was rare to find people who truly knew what to do with it. Many people used tools to convert from MIDI to the Genesis sound chip and it sounded like sub-spacial farts to be as respectful as possible.
This is my favorite game for the 32X.
I'm really happy to see more 32x OST games be recorded from a real 32x hardware, since it's pretty rare because most of the OST videos of the 32x out there are emulated and not the real hardware. I'm very glad to see this more.
This game has skyrocketed in value!
People love buying garbage.

The entire retro games market is a mess right now
the legend is back after 9 months. always come here to jam out to some chiptune beats, thank you man
You should add the soundtrack toTempo on the 32X next. Or, perhaps, the soundtrack to the Mega Drive port of Sorcerian from Falcom: the same company that made the Ys series.
In my opinion the 3D special stages are the best bit about the game.
Good on ya Dustin for putting this one up. I never did get around to making a CD of this game's ost, let alone upload a video on the soundtrack. Glad you got it up and with great quality.
This ost has such a classic feel good vibe, i love it!
You know I don't mind this game. It really needs a re-release, if you play it with another person it makes it more enjoyable. I have a copy of the game thankfully complete in box too. I love this soundtrack, Take Off is my favorite song in the game.
Yeah this game is like the DKC games in that it is made to be played with a second person. It's not nearly as fun without one. That being said I wish this game could get a remake. Sonic Advance 3 did what Chaotix tried to do far better imo. Still like it because it was an interesting attempt to explore how to do co-op Sonic without slowing down the gameplay or having split-screen on all the time.
The man the myth the legend returns
Perfect
YESSSS I love the 32x
Oh, its so rare to find 32X OST recorded from the real hardware! Thanks for the video
nice! been waiting for this! but when is Wonder Boy in Monster World >=V
I have the sound test ROM made and all
Something about this game always reminded me of that movie, "The Labyrinth". Maybe it's the constant time limits, and clear objectives thrown in your face, or maybe my mom just had great taste in movie from the 80's and showed that movie while she also got me this game back in 1995. 90's kid born in '90, here.
Thank you for the thumbnail in the video, this is exactly how I saw this cover, back in 1995. My first introduction to Knuckles, since I never played Sonic 3/& Knuckles.
Good to see you (or you I say hear you) active after all these years. I never finished this game.
I get to hear Door Into Summer on real hardware? Thanks Dustin!
32x was probably the best thing out at the time.
Espio: Why the fuck am I connected TO THE BEE JESUS??!?!?!?
Thanks for upload my favourite 32x OST!
I've played some obscure systems but somehow never managed to encounter a 32X.
Nice, you're doing god's work!
Midnight Greenhouse is an eternal jam and I will hear no arguments otherwise
Nice! I'm a big fan of this one, both the game and the soundtrack.
Thanks for the upload! Out of curiosity, where did you grab the Chaotix box scan? The font on the back of the box looks totally different from mine (and every other copy I've ever seen).
Cover Project, claims to be a Canadian version. Pretty sure it's just a fan made/remade cover, though
@@DUSTINODELLOFFICIAL It's definitely a fan made one. The K-A rating was never colored in. By the time the ESRB started coloring in their ratings they got rid of the K-A rating and replaced it with the E for Everyone rating.
Rated KA for Knuckles Attitude
This times back in the day!

Darxide, please! It's about time to be on youtube with good quality.
Alright soundtrack.
Are you that satanic person from the replies of one plok song video?
❤️🧡💚💙💜
Admit it, the majority came for evening start
I do like this game somewhat, but to be honest, I think that while most of the music is good, great even, it lacks character. Just as the stages themselves are weird, the music for each stage doesn't really match each stage to the point where its irreplaceable. I would argue one could change the music for each stage around and there wouldn't be much lost in the vibes.
Walkin'! Too short a recording...
Didn't you said that your 32X was broken?
It was, but a friend of mine gave me a good deal on a working one
@@DUSTINODELLOFFICIAL oh so that's why you took a while to upload 32X music
Okay game, but good 16 bit music!
A 32x game? Maybe if we're lucky we'll get a kolibri upload...
The instrumentation of this soundtrack sounds cheap, compared to other Sonic games, as if they used GEMS...
i dislike this music, it fells like cacophony to me.
i much prefer other Sonic musics.
