    You've done it again! Thank you so much, i don't think I will ever be able to thank you enough for this. You have helped me get that taste of home once again! I am going to make these and then the beef ones because I am missing everything about home. I really truly appreciate it and please don't stop making these videos, you are helping me a ton of others more than you know!

    Have you ever used Kikuet brand, the yellow discs? The Kikuet brand has that old Puerto Rico kiosk memory lane in the taste. They remind me so much of Trujillo my home town. The Goya brand leaved an after taste in my mouth that I can't deal with. Like the manufacturer puts too much on an ingredient. Sorry, is just not the same.
    Your empanadas I'm definetely going to do with green olives and capers. Thanks for the recipe.

      Yes, my sister got some of those and gave them to me for my kiddos to try 🤗 at the time the Kikuet brand was not available where I lived but now they carry them. I personally havent tried them because I can’t have gluten, but my family has enjoyed them 🤗 I feel the same way about the Goya sofrito, I feel like the La Royana one is so much better!

      @JoyfulYessi yep, see - no, I have to make my 64oz of fresh sofrito because I feel like the Goya sofrito or even the recaito just does not give our arriz con gandules or habichuelas blancas that same authentic Boricua flavor my grandma gave it and that's why I stick to my sofrito; the cilantro, cilantro and the sweet Ají is a must.
      And btw, a note forbthose who may not know - people should not confuse our Boricua Ají Dulces with the Dominican Cachucha Ají, they are not the same at all - people will ruin their food because the Cachucha is spicy.

      @@JannatMiranda it’s definitely way better when it’s homemade, especially since you can tailor it and add the quantities that you enjoy the most. 🤗
