85 yards through the heart of the south is pretty tough to beat. I also remember Gardener laying on the ground in agony after the Powell interception being pretty amazing in the moment.
That whole defense was crazy also had bosa and McMillan. All ohio State do is put out nfl talent. Sad that their last championship was in 2015 i think.
But Jabrill Peppers won the DPOY because UM's bought-and-paid-for media got their rocks off at his "versatility." One pick. In his entire career. Hooker had at least six in 2016.
That championship team was a special team. The whole lot of them. You had the best DBs in the country, the greatest DE ever in OSU history, a world class RB, a slew of WRs that anyone would beg for, an amazing OL and DL and not 2 but 3 QBs that all had incredible talent.
1 huge miss. The Cardale Jones 59-0 game that actually put us in the playoff we eventually won. Gus Johnson screaming "12 Guage Baby" will always be an epic memory. The experts were saying the committee couldn't put in a team with a 3rd string QB who had never started..til he dropped hung 59 on em. That's the most clutch performance that I've ever seen from a Buckeye. Certainly the most unexpected.
Hell, bring some Archie and Rex Kerns highlights, why not? Jack Tatum catching a 4th down, late 4th quarter goal-line leap over the line by Top 10 Purdue's great Leroy Keyes and stuffing him back. Perhaps an all-time defensibe play.
That Ohio state Penn state game where JT Barrett went unconscious in the 4th quarter still gives me chills when I see that last TD pass with Gus Johnson calling the play. My god it almost makes ya tear up
Alex Mueck dude was easily the best backup QB in the nation, and probably could’ve started at every school during that time outside of Ohio State and Bama (AJ McAaron)

These moments are why I love being an OSU fan. Remember watching that game vs Bama when I was in 8th grade. Didn’t nobody believe me when I said we was gone beat them.
This was a phenomenal video! The only plays I think you kissed were Shaziers strip of Ball at the goal line in 2012 and Darron Lee's fumble return vs Navy in 2014 and maybe the Ballard catch vs Oregon in the 2011 Rose Bowl as well as Hubbards combo tackle on the 2017 Penn State game. Once again, great video!
I was in the stadium when the Buckeye's beat Jake the Snake's ASU squad. Most impressive play I remember was a Katzenmoyer's hit on J.R. Redmond (if I remember correctly that was his name). The TV replay did not do it justice, but being a few rows above field level, you could hear and almost feel the impact. The Big Kat met him head-on.
So many great plays, great players and great people! My kids will remember them after I'm gone. Legends are made at TOSU and they won't be forgotten! BUCKEYE NATION lives in Heaven!
Between 85 yards thru the heart of the South and then Curtis Samuel's 2OT game winner against ttun, had to be the top 2. I figured since it's just "best plays" I thought maybe Braxtons Spin Move would be #3.
This just popped up in my feed, definitely needed something like this, love how it's a video with commentary and not some basic music, really hoping we get college football at least this year.
Loved the Brax love on this list. The most underrated offensive Buckeye this century. The toggle switch against Va Tech, the UM run in 13, the Cal run, and the Hail Mary against Wisky. That game against Wisky is special to me. It's not often that we are home dogs. But when we are, THAT'S when The Shoe is truly ALIVE. On 85 Yards Through The Heart Of The South....When Bama was up 21-6, I switched places and got off social media. Totally worked. I hit my fist on my living room ceiling screaming, "HE'S GOOOONNNE!" Woke my kids up. Hahaha. The only inclusions I would have are the Michael Thomas 75 yard slant in 14 versus MSU, any Chase Young play against Wisky in 19, and Dobbins run against Clemson in 19(we won that game in my personal record book, we were better and we proved it the next year, no one can tell me otherwise).

85 yards through the heart of the south is pretty tough to beat.
