- Two weeks ago I announced the launch of my Transitioning to Natural Support Group for those who have decided to learn to love and embrace their natural hair in 2020 (or before)! Quarantine has inspired a lot of new hairstyles, cuts, and looks in general, and what better time than now to learn how to nurture those curls, coils, and kinks you've been wondering about? 💖
The Transitioning to Natural Support Group now has almost 300 members from across the world who are inspiring one another each day by sharing their unique stories, progress photos, favorite products, questions, and styles.
If you've decided to love on your natural hair during this time and are transitioning from heat training or damage, relaxers, color damage or otherwise, we'd love to have you in the group to share your journey!

The support group has been wonderful. Trying to find cute styles without braiding experience and straightening tools has been rough.
I feel you
I will definitely be apart of the group! I had started my natural hair journey in 2018... then took out my flat iron 2019 :( lol now I have started again! Last time I straightened my hair was April 2020. Let’s DO IT! 🥰
Your honesty and support is much needed. Thank you for doing this. The journey is always easier when you are not alone.
My last relaxer was in January I’m trying very hard to go natural because my hair is damaged.
You can do this!! Once you let go of the heat you’re on your way! 🙌🏽💖
@@AminaMarie Where is the link? I can't find it.
Same here... haven't relaxed since January. The denman brush tears my hair out, no conditioner is working on both my natural and relaxed hair... and suddenly my hair is coming out in my hands, which it never did when I was completely relaxed...HELP
Oh and I haven't used any heat at all... whew! I'm considering relaxing and moving on with my best life.
I am also. This is truly new lol
I so need this! Last relaxer was Oct 2019 and this is a real challenge. But I have found some good products. So it's getting easier for me
Do you have any products you recommend??? I did my last relaxer in the same month and year as you !!!
Omg mee too, Oct 19 2019 exactly
I have been looking for a support group as I have just begun this journey. I just discovered your channel recently and your hair is beautiful! Ty for forming this group!🥰❤️
I LOVE THIS GROUP!🤞🏾❤️ curls for the win!
Love having you!! 🥰🙌🏽❤️
I'm new to all of this and the support group has already helped! Thanks Amina!
So happy to have you in the group, can’t wait to see your progress!!
I’m so happy this came up on my suggested page as all week I’ve been trying to find something like this! I’ve only been transitioning for about a week now but this is something I’m definitely going to stick to in order to see the results💖 so grateful for this🥺
I am so excited to apart of the group. My last relaxer was early February. I have so much new growth. I am not use to feeling the thickness at my roots. Feel really funny. i have been following and using some of you suggested products. I can't believe the growth since February. The only style I have been wearing is a ponytail. I must confess i have used the blow dryer with oils to straighten out the roots to help make it a little eaiser to manage. I'm just praying for all of us to hang in there. This transition is a challenge. Thank you for the styling tips. i plan to try the flex rods this week. By the way...I did a cut in May. I'm sure I will cut again very soon.
Hi just discovered your channel I’m so pleased it’s exactly what I’m looking for thank you 👍
I wish this group was created when I was fresh into my transition from relaxer. I’ve been transitioning for over two years now not much relaxer left but still joining the group ❤️ you’ve been very helpful during my transition 🙌🏾🥰
Yay! That's very exciting! I will for sure be submitting my request
Can’t wait to start this journey. Feeling all sorts of emotions. But I’m sure it’ll be worth it
Thank you so much i have always wanted to go natural but now i know i can once again thank you so much you inspire me .
I'm so excited to join this group. I am helping my daughter (age 17) transition, she is in phase 1 and I am all natural, but I have never been in love with my hair until this quarantine. Now I watch all your videos and try just about everything on my hair.
I am trying to get my daughter to a place where she can do her own hair when she goes to college. She is also very active with sports, so she is anxious about how this effects her hair.
I would love to be part of the group 💗💗💗my last relaxer was September 18 2019
Yess we’d love to have you!! I put the link to request to join the link in the description! 💖💖
Amina Marie thank you so much❤️ I already send my request
I would like to join... last relaxed in early February... going well mostly but lots of hair loss on my hands whenever I am handling it...
I just submitted to join the group - it’s exciting to join a community.
Hi Amina, your videos have given me the courage to transition to my natural hair. And as a young black girl,i find it really hard to find videos from this year that recommend products in today's world; and i really appreciate it if you can recommend the best products for different hair types. I have type 4A hair and my porosity is high. Love from the UK XX
Oh, Amina I forgot to ask will you please do an updated video on your favorite shampoo, conditioner, leave in, and lastly, deep conditioner? Thanks.
Yes I can! 🤗
I am a newbie. My last relaxer was in February. I am excited about joining the support group.
Excited to have you!! 💗💗
Just sent my request! I love your videos and excited to join this support group. I am approaching my 7 month transitioning. I've been relaxed since middle school, so its exciting to see my new natural hair growth and discovering my curls!😊
I requested to join but haven’t been let in. Looking forward to the group!
This is absolutely wonderful! I wish this was around when I was transitioning...I transitioned for 8 months from heat damage. I transitioned from a relaxer “on accident” well I didn’t make a conscious decision. I just went with my stylists suggestion to stop with relaxers and she could still get my hair straight/I would have the same look without the chemicals!
Omg I am very excited to see my natural hair! I am finally 6month in road to 7
Yes, please. Count me in. My last relaxer was March 2020...newbie.
🙌🏽🙌🏽 Excited to have you join!!
This is a great group of ladies. I'm like 5 mo and it really is supportive. Im becoming less "nulles" and im appreciative!
Hey there,
I am newbie to transitioning to natural hair. My last relaxer was either between the last of March or beginning of April (I can't really remember). But I have decided that it was the last. I'm so confused on how to start. Do I just go ahead and start experiencing with natural products or do I keep the same routine that I had with my relaxed hair until I see a little bit more of new growth?
I wish i was still on facebook cause i would definitely wanna join but alas, i hate facebook and i'm never going back. But this is still an amazing idea 💛 kudos to you for thinking of this.
Hi Amina, decided to start transitioning would love to see my natural hair I used to do Brazilian keratin the last time I done that was February the 21st 2020
I have about 4 maybe 5 inches of new growth and my hair is looking pretty already however I am debating if I should just do the big chop 😳I would love to be a part of the community
I’m always here on this channel 🥰✨
Omg !!!!I really want to be a part of this group.Nobody aroud me besides my sister are in this journey of transitioning to natural.Btw your hair looks AMAZING!!!

Gd morning, just joined group, been transitioning for 2 years, can't wait to be full natural, trying to figure out my hair.
I need some support from you all. I've been thinking about transitioning, but my mother and sister don't believe I can do it. They are starting to really get to me 😢
I think I have type 4b/c but I'm not exactly sure. I really thank you for these videos.

Hi, my name is Andrea and i have been trying to transition like crazy, but i can't big chop, and i am trying so hard. my relaxer has been in for almost a year. i have tried watching your videos, im still confused on what to do with my hair, half of my hair is curly while the other half is very very damaged.I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.
I would love to join the group!!
I would like to see a skincare routine for dry/sensitive skin. There are not enough youtube videos / content on how to manage your dry/ sensitive skin. What products should be used for our skin type and how to have a proper/ right skincare routine
I need all the support I can get because I’m lacking patience and I’m super frustrated with this hot mess! Lol!
What are some good shampoos, conditioners, or deep conditioners u would recommend?

This is so great! I would love to be part of the group! I need help and ideas. I am now almost 9 months post relaxer and struggling to get my styling worked out. If I could be of help to anyone else, I would like that too.
I am so thankful you started this group. It has been so encouraging and helpful. It's amazing to interactive with people who are going through the same process as you. Thank you again 💙
