these wild preserves are not natural environments they are stuck on the same land since they can't migrate hundreds of miles like when they were natural. they crowd lions and elephants and rhinos on the same land they need huge areas
I agree. I've been learning alot about elephants & what I've learned so far is that there is something Very Special about them! Impossible to sum it up in a whole book. LOL ! That's how amazing they are. They seem to have emotions like humans. They celebrate with others births & cry with others hurts or deaths. They are eager to learn. They have patience like Job.They teach their young proper ways to live. Really, elephants are intelligent, caring, majestic, forgiving, not forgetting. They are appreciative & giving. Yes, Elephants are complex, & yet seem to know how to accept life no matter how bad it can get. I think us humans can learn alot from elephants. God has blessed us with amazing gentle, humble, yet powerful friends!💖

Magnificent animal. I wish we respected their right to exist instead of butchering them to use their tusks as tacky and tasteless decorations. They look far more beautiful on a live elephant.
Its easy to say that when you live in the west where we have good job opportunities and you know you'll never have to starve. Over there its a free-for-all where everyone is scrambling to try to make enough money just to survive. They're not evil, the people who poach these animals, they just have no other means of providing for themselves and their families. Many years ago in 1975 I was invited in to a Sea captains house. A magnificent dwelling on the coast of Rhode Island. In one room was a collection of carved ivory from the orient. An entire wall of the room had at least a hundred carvings of intricate elephant ivory.
Something's wrong with me, I could have watched this magnificent animal for another 2 hours, listening all the while to that magnificent, hypnotic rhythm. The whole thing just draws you in, and doesn't let you go. Excellent! Well done! Bravo! (Subscribed.)
He looks like a giant elephant that was shown many years ago in his youth. Same tusk broken in a fight. He has since gotten much thicker and mellower!! He is still gigantic. Very long legs and huge tusks. Last time I saw him he was young and in must. Very aggressive. They studied him from afar.
