The Korean writing as translated by my wife "Congratulations on being a Pastor, be filled with the Holy Spirit, full of wisdom, and full of love". She says this appears to have been written from a father to his son.
I have an English version of Scrivner's work. I am using my 1533 edition of a Jean Crespin Greek NT. Great video. Have a blessed Lord's day brother. Greetings to you and the church, in Jesus name.
@@eddiearista the one in the video? Called around to different book stores. Got lucky. Been outa print for a long time. You can only still get it in paperback.
The two of you are conspiring to empty my bank account! That appendix looks interesting. Just yesterday my wife and I were discussing that I Col. 13.13 has "charity" in the KJV, Latin Vulgate, and Wycliffe, but the Scrivener TR, Geneva, and Tyndale have "love". It sure seems like a Latin reading to me.
Steve M lol amen youtube is dangerous for ones wallet. In 1611 charity was synonymous with love. But it could also be that since people were familiar with the passage as Wycliffe (translating from Latin) and Tyndale (translating from Greek for first time) had it they retained it.

You would be SHOCKED to read, compare, and SEE how at times the KJV and the D-Rheims Catholic Bible agree WORD FOR WORD with each other. 🙄
