I always liked Scott Norton.Any comeback he would make is fantastic to me.
I agree, the most underrated member of the nWo. I wouldn't call him 2nd string.

He should have had a bigger push. The guy had presence. He was intimidating and strong.
Too bad Norton is out of his prime now. Last time i saw him in the ring was when he passed on the gaijin torch to Giant Bernard and he really wasn't what he used to be.

Great to see all three of these guys still hanging around and looking good, especially Norton who I always thought never got a fair share when he was in WCW but glad he made a name for himself in NJPW hope to see him show up again one day like he said.
NWO Sting is the man. Like Alphaville he really was big in Japan. It can't be understated.
I met NWO Sting. Cool guy. The fans kept yelling at him "you aren't Sting" even though NWO Sting was advertised. I felt bad for the guy.

It's crazy how Jeff Farmer/nWo Sting got so over in Japan more so than the actual one. Perfectly understandable, because he was a pretty decent worker and entertaining as well in the nWo/Sting angle. Probably some of the best form of entertaining television you could ever watch. Shame we never got a pay-per-view match between both which would've been awesome. Scott Norton was an absolute powerhouse and could've been elevated more, but judging from how stiff he was there were probably a lot of people intimidated by him, and who could blame them? This current era which is dominated by the little men need more Scott Nortons. Nick Patrick is one of the best charismatic referees of all time other than Randy Anderson, Charles Robinson, Tommy Young, and Earl Hebner (Yes, you have to include him on top regardless), enough said.

Norton was always one of the most believable guys in wrestling to me. I always felt like if it were a shoot he would probably beat the piss out of everyone he faced.

Jeff Farmer (NWO Sting) is a pretty underrated wrestler. Admittingly, he's not in Steve Borden (Sting)'s league but I felt the story between the NWO Sting and Sting had more potential and could have been explored more. Farmer was actually the original Cobra in WCW and has shown himself to be an awesome wrestler. I was never against him being NWO Sting in Japan. If Sting wasn't retired, it'd be awesome to see them go at it. Or for Jeff Farmer to pick up the Sting legacy and just keep the name around. Unfortunately, both are retired now and thus the Sting legacy ends. It's over. It would have been great to see Farmer and Border duke it out in one last storyline where Sting gets revenge on NWO Sting for the impostering and betrayal caused by the NWO back in the WCW years. If Steve Borden HAD to retire, it would have been good to see NWO Sting turn face and decide to honor Sting's legacy by continueing on. But crap...I guess some things just GOT to end or be left unfinished.

to be honest these guys werent the biggest stars in the nWo but i wouldn't call them 2nd stream. they were all apart of the original nWo when it was still great and all played parts in key story lines. I'm fans of Luger, Bryan Adams, and Bret Hart but they all came in after the magic was gone. To me the nWo in its Prime is Hogan, Hall, Nash, Syxx,Giant, Million Dollar Man,Vincent,Macho Man,Buff, Norton, nWo Sting, Nick Patrick, Dennis Rodman,Kyle Petty, Muta, Chono,Rick Rude,Eric B., Konnan, and Curt Henning.
I would also add Scott Steiner

Grew up watching referee Nick Patrick every sat morning on georgia championship wrestling superstation ch 17. Scott "flash" Norton one of my favorites was a beast and was never used to his full potential in the states like he should've been, but he was highly respected in japan which is all that matters. Would love to have seen he and Goldberg go at a few more times.

Scott Norton is a monster, I still remember a match he had with Goldberg on Nitro( they a had a few matches) but Norton was one of the only guys who wrestled like he could legitimately win and go over, the only other one i can think of would be Meng.

Does the WWE have a say in these conventions? Given the shirts and banners you see in the video.
I don't think they care, it isn't big enough. And this was part of their characters they portrayed, so I am sure there are some intellectual property rights there. It would be like WWE telling the Ultimate Warrior he couldn't wear face paint when he went to WCW. Now if TNA or Impact Wrestling was doing stuff like that, the WWE would be all over it. But this is so small time, I'm sure they get overlooked for a fan day.
