It was true comic book storytelling. Sting was like a superhero at the time. Facing the dastardly corrupt kingpins in wrestling. Having an evil version of himself. Even though it was one of the greatest storylines of all time. It had so much more juice to keep going.
The fake Sting could have tagged with the real Sting. Maybe the best possible tag-team ever. -And he even fooled other Wrestler and Management marks. That is wrestling for ya.
