Yeah, OBTs can be crazy fast, but they get quickly exhausted. Yes, the versicolor is a jewel when it comes to colors. Do you have some other crazy fast tarantulas?
@@tarantuhalla Let's see if I can remember them all. Brachypelma boehmei, Caribena laeta, Cyriocosmus elegans, Cyriocosmus perezmilesi and Cyriocosmus sellatus, Grammostola iheringi, Grammostola pulchra and Grammostola rosea, Tliltocatl albopilosus. Those are the safe-ish ones. Then I've also had a few bolters of less "safe" species like Heterothele gabonensis, Psalmopoeus ecclesiasticus, Psalmopoeus irminia and Psalmopoeus victori, and last but not least Ornithoctoninae sp. Vietnam Silver. That last one was... something. 🥲
OBTs are phenomenal: fast, feisty, colorful. And yes, versicolor are a something special. Raised from a sling they are a great reward for your patience. So far I have 5 or 6 different pinktoe species. Do you plan on expanding your pinktoe collection?
@@tarantuhalla Oh yes! I am planing to expand my pinktoe collection. I want a A.purpurea, a versicolor, A. juruensis, A. minatrix and Avicularia braunshauseni
@@wendigos_eat_people7177 It's now a Caribena versicolor, but it belonged previously to the Avicularia genus. From those listed I really want a minatrix (or five) since they are so tiny compared to the rest of Avicularias. If you want send me a picture of you avicularias, I am collecting pictures for a viewer collage ^^
My C.versicolors are always bolty psycho's The only ones i get to handle are the slings when it comes to feeding time as they always go for a wander and i have to wrangle them back into the pots.
The small ones will always find a way to bolt out of the enclosure and not back into the pot. You have bolty Caribenas? Big bolty caribenas? That would be weird.
👍
Great rehousing video Marc and wow that obt was crazy fast. I’m lucky that mine just hides lol. The versi color is stunning though.

I never purposely handle my tarantulas either, so when it happens by accident it's always a treat. Amazing video as always. 😊
It is, especially with such cute spiders like a Caribena. Which tarantula species have you handled so far?

@@Lewisiaisoutofcontext I am jealous of the Vietnam silver, I am hunting for one for a few months now.
@@tarantuhalla I'll let you know if I find some for a decent price. :)
@@Lewisiaisoutofcontext Please do that ^^
Love the obt. Quite a speed racer. The versicolor is very beautiful and calm. I have a common pinktoe and a female metallic or morph 6 .

Hej. Mam smutną informacje. Heteroscodra Maculata Utknęła w wylince. 😥 No cóż, zdarza się. Ps. Wyliniała Chromka i L. Parahybana
Ech, szkoda, ale zdarza się.
VIKINGS DO NOT FEAR TARANTULAS
They do not ^^
