There is no doubt Andy loves Sam, Nick was a diversion, and someone she settled for, since she thought Sam no loved wanted her, but he always has from episode 1, season 1, there has been that attraction, undeniable.
This is THE BEST 'I love you' scene EVER! I would've cried, but my parents were watching too. Can't wait for season5. I hope they don't do something dumb like give him amnesia though.
I loved this scene....very heartfelt, BUT I was hoping when she said she loved him that he would've closed his eyes for a couple of seconds, deeply exhaled and held her hand to his heart like his life has just been validated and he can actually breathe again or in a sense that if he dies he can die happy knowing she loves him. Can you envision that?
This "I love you" statement is very valuable. It was also very precious and emotional moment. Because Andy was talking with her heart. Not with her mouth. There is a perfect connection between Andy and Sam. This is love. Only one person you may love at the same time not two. She shows care about Nick, but she doesn't love him. Her true love is Sam in my opinion.

If something is worth having, it is worth fighting for and both of them are now in the place to do that. They are on the same page at last and they have both made mistakes, not just Sam. Andy clearly doesn't think it is perfect; she goes into work early and doesn't want to define their relationship. This is all because she still loves Sam and we all know Sam loves her. Soulmates!
When I saw scenes (especially love scenes) for Andy and Sam I am always getting excited. My body temperature is getting higher and I am feeling all their passion and love in my heart. When I saw scenes for Andy and Nick I am just thinking what are the schoolboys are doing. This is my personal idea.
I can't stop watching this very emotional scene. I liked Sam while he grabbed her hand for support. Definitely I liked and even memorized the words of Andy. Andy: It was not a good story. Sam: It was precious story. I liked the kiss that she put his forehead even more than 1x07 (this was the first kiss for them).
Some people just blamed Sam that dumped Andy. Yeah this is a big mistake but it is not fair since Nick did the worse things to Gail. He dumped her several times.
I am so elated right now. This whole scene melted my heart. I was a puddle after this scene. They both love each other so much. You can clearly see it on how they look at each other. I am glad that they admitted their feelings again. Why does season 5 have to be 8/9 months away. This show needs to go to a summer/winter schedule with 23 episodes.

Ally and Noah were opposites and as Noah said its gonna take time for us to work on our relationship but he willing to try....cos that's a real relationship, it needs passion, friction and friendship not just friendship. Sam and Andy r made for each other and they r working on themselves. Sam isn't a touchy feeling character and if Andy was constantly sunshine and rainbows her character would be boring. All good relationships take work. Plus if Sam and Andy had no connection at all rookie blue wouldn't have been renewed for a 2nd or 3rd season before nick came along and became a potential love interest.
Thank you very much for this beautiful comment. Yesterday night I watched Season 1 Episode 1 and I realized that show is really consistent for Andy and Sam. When Andy arrested Sam wrongly and destroyed all his effort they started to fight, blame each other at the same time there were a strong passion between them. At the end of the episode what did I conclude? Sam is an indirect at the same time a tough person. Andy is very clever and even she was able to get first success in the first day.
I love Andy and Sam together and hope that they get written back together, but Andy isn't innocent in all of this. She strung Sam along forever, only to leave him behind after season 2. Nick is no prince charming not matter how good on paper he is for her. He manipulated his way back to Gail's life and accepted no responsibility for his part of their demise, and a friendship was ruined by these 2 coming together.
Guys, sorry but you are looking a tree and you are not able to see the whole of jungle. Sams and Andys emotional travel started from day 1. Where Andy blown his undercover, they impressed from each other, they loved each other deeply, passionately and sometimes desperately. They did mistakes but they still need each other, I found season 4 quite boring except season finale.
same here.the only thing that kept me watching last year was Dov & Chloe.I guess it was not as many scenes between Sam & Andy that caused it to be boring
Sam and Andy always make my heart swell. I still cry over what she said to him. And because we clearly see that Andy is still in love with Sam and admits he is her love story, Nick deserves a woman who loves him and only him. Nick shouldn't be someone's second choice, he can do better and deserves that.
This scene only proved that she said what he wanted to hear because it was a dramatic situation. People say the craziest things when they think someone is gonna die.. I feel Andy is truly happy with nick and I like the people they are with each other. She actually told us she felt MORE HERSELF THAN EVER and people (i.e. Oliver, Chloe, and Sam) were noticing her actually being happy and beaming with a glow.
They designed for love to each other. They are growing together. They are learning many things from each other. No one can blame Andy because she still loves Sam. She is NOT "submissive" or "pathetic". She is talking with her heart and there is no mathematics in heart.
One of my favorite Chloe moments when she's trying to get the deeds on whats going down! Love their potential friendship! Priscilla Faia and Missy are adorable together. Usually people say truthful things when someone is about to die. She was speaking from her heart, so much emotion and that story was the icing on top. Do you know how wrong it would be if she said all those things to Sam. He survives, and then she said you know, that ambulance we were in? I didn't mean any of that, sry. Whoa!!! I would have lost all respect for her.
Exactly. One more thing is that before Sam's getting shot he was ready to leave. He said his ideas and feelings about Andy to her. And what he also said "You deserve to be happy. I am leaving" something like that. Then what did Andy exactly do? She was just running behind of Sam. Because she still loves him and she cannot afford to lose him.
Season 1 Episode 02. Andy: did you scared? Sam: yeah. Did you? Andy: No. Because you were there!!! Just after the hand shake they almost gave the first kiss. Andy stopped Sam. It was perfect. In order to keep my mind fresh I'm watching again and again.

She is important Not ONLY for Nick. definitely she is important for Sam. Even in the beginning of the first season he said I dont want anything happen to you. In the third season he was with her while she was holding the bomb. He was ready to die with her.
If he really wanted to be selfless and let her be happy, he wouldn't have said a word about leaving (like Nick did) He would have just told Andy goodnight, and take care. But he wanted to make her feel bad about enjoying her life and also force her to make a decision. I’ll never forget in season one Sam told her point blank "You over analyze every little thing but when it comes to something that really matters you don’t think at all!" And this scene is clearly indicative of that.
This was so emotional and beautiful, I just wish he had said it back. I suppose we can forgive him with the gunshot wound and all....although he pretty much said it back at the station about wanting her to be happy more than he wanted himself to be happy...

Even Missy said in may this year 'Sam and Andy have something that is pretty amazing'. They just need to find a way of coming together at the middle and they are already doing this. Andy and Nick aren't endgame yet, that's what the writers said. They aren't done yet, so no McSwarek will happen yet. I wish Nick and Gail would get back together. To me, they look so much better than Andy and Nick.

Amen, sister haha. That's exactly how I felt this entire season. I was like, clearly Sam has derailed his train and needs a little time to get back, but in the meantime, Nick is an okay substitute for Andy because I like the Andy/Nick dynamic. (Only as a short term thing, though) But Sam has always been my number one choice. There is just something deeper then the Nick/Andy relationship IMO. Hopefully the writers don't butcher season
I think mcnally characterizes a good person who helps those around her grow. Each relationship changes you BUT not always for the better. Personally I believe Nick is better for Andy. Realistically the guy I dated in high school is not gonna teach me the same things as the guy Ive Married. With Nick andy has truly grown trusting OPEN and beautifully more than ever! I think she is falling for this soldier

What an awesome McSwarek scene. Sam is her story. He has been since episode 1, season 1. The connection has always been there. I like Nick but Sam is 'it' for Andy. Just watch Seasons 1 and 2 to see why
They all obviously care for one another and have risked there lives for each other at certain points in time. At my point of view Collins is the most unselfish and understanding with Andy! I have my reasons why I think so, you have yours.
2/2 and wants her to be happy: that's true love........ Still he needs to communicate, but after being shot he'll realize that life's short! Being shot will do that to a person. I also believe that he was planning to say he loved her to in this scene, but at that moment he needed to be intubated......... Nick is a gerat, wonderful Guy, really sweet! But if you're heart wants someone else....... That's just life........
They shot Sam to remind Andy who is the most important man in her life. As you know she started a new relationship with Nick. She had fun. But she couldn't fall in love with him. They spent some good days together but now THE TABLE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN. We have to face with reality. She still loves Sam. He is her story. She never felt loved before as she said when Sam grabbed her after the nightmare. Do not blame Andy. This is heart this is love. We cannot consider it as mathematics.
During undercover with Nick Andy was playing his girlfriend kissing him every day, but she never thought of him as a man she could love because she loved Sam and missed Sam. When she returned to the division she wanted to be with Sam. Andy started the relations with Nick because she was in DESPAIR . Nick was a nice guy, a good friend - so why not to try? She had to keep going forward somehow, she needed somebody take care of her.
But I believe that you, as a person, can decide how a relationship changes you, for the good or for the bad. But note, I never said I believe every relationship CHANGES you, I said that it makes you learn something about yourself and life. And for Andy in particular, I believe she took something away from each relationship and grew. And I also don't believe that every relationship has to teach the exact same lesson as previous relationships. (Otherwise, aren't you just standing still?)
Missy supports both ships, thats nothing new. Its her job to keep both sides hopeful. She says that they both have strengths and weakness, that Andy is deeply in love with Sam and that she cares for Nick. I also remember her saying that she was 49/51 for Sam. Anyways, In general, its not up to her. It's up to the writers. So whatever happens next season, is going to happen. Both teams have very emotional supports, but its not up to the fans. Done. Finished.
Most RB fans will agree. Sam.. really unappealing in his treatment especially this season. Obviously in the process of learning to appreciate the people in his life while they are still in it. Its the way Sam played mind games with McNally ignoring her existence to mean less than sht after he dumped her.. Blaming her for taking a major step-frwrd career opportunity because apparently shes supposed to do whatever he says whenever he says so ..The "way" he asked her to falsify evidence knowing her values and respect for her job "If you wont do it for her do it for me.."You did a good thing.." But mostly his over all arrogant attitude like hes high and mighty and better than everyone.
Sorry, but can you give me an example of Andy being submissive to Sam? Just purely out of curiosity. I believe that with every relationship, whether it be with your soul mate or not, you learn something about yourself and life. I think she grew as a person with Sam, Luke and Nick. I respectfully disagree. Andy made it clear to Sam from the beginning of season 4 that she still loved him. If he left without saying goodbye, she would never have closure then. She would always wonder why or she would be hurt because she might think that he never respected her enough to even say 'goodbye'. I would be pissed if a guy did that to me. I think Sam didn't necessarily handle the break up of the relationship in the right way, but he definitely redeemed himself in this episode.
Everyone needs to chill. We don't even know wat will happen in s5. It's not definite that mccollins is over or that mcswarek is back on again, the growth that Andy made in this season was not shattered, and she still has more growing to do. Trust the RB writers cos so far we have got 4 bloody good seasons out of them and its been renewed for a fifth, they can't please everyone all of the time. Just sit back and enjoy the RB ride.

Andy was in character this year, at the start of S4, she clearly wasn't over Sam and neither was Sam. Even whilst UC with Nick, Andy never gave Nick a second glance romantically. I do not like the person like Nick. All the time he is just praising or indulging he is not criticizing. Andy is a very interesting character and I really love her but that does not mean she is not doing any mistakes. However I am definitely a Sandy fan but also I want to see Nick as happy with another girl who really loves him.
I felt like I was watching a whole different Andy. It seemed like all the character development and growth she had done over the past 12 episodes was pointless because she’s just back to square one. One main reason for my dissatisfaction was that they had Sam get shot just so they could push Andy to his side.
And I dont think Andy is weak when she is with Sam, on the contrary she touched him and he is changing for her, they only way a girl do that is if she is strong...I love they brought the real Sam back and that he is trying to be more open, he was able to talk about his feelings for Andy to Oliver and even to be honest and tell Andy how he is feeling this ep.
Forcing two characters into intimacy, after building them up way too much.. I feel like the writers are trying to inflate the romanticism of mcswarek because they lack so much of everything else. Like all of a sudden sam is a saint and gets the pity vote..so this relationship gets forced down our throats again..
Nick was dating Gail and they were planning to get married if I'm not mistaken but he disappeared for two years and then again for 6 months. Not even informing her. Nick is not so perfect. Is there any guarantee he was not going to act in the same way with Andy?
I never thought I would ever say this, but I don't want McSwarek. Yeah, it seemed like it was meant to be, but then I saw the alternative life. Andy and Nick have the perfect bonding. Their relationship is beautiful, while McSwarek have gone so wrong so often. I really want McCollin.
Not as touched by this scene as I thougt I'd be. I actually really like Nick and would have loved to see more of their relationship. He was a refreshing change from Sam who's been such a jerk. I mean, geez, it took this whole crisis for him to tell Andy how he really feels.
Maybe she was sorry that she wasn't over Sam yet and that she had such an emotional reaction to Sam's shooting. Next season may be about Andy trying to decide who she wants to be with. Hopefully it will be Sam. I would be very dissapointed otherwise.

Sam and Andy always make my heart swell. I still cry over what she said to him. And because we clearly see that Andy is still in love with Sam and admits he is her love story, Nick deserves a woman who loves him and only him. Nick shouldn't be someone's second choice, he can do better and deserves that.
So well done... I love andy and sam!!! I can't wait until next season... is it May yet?

This scene only proved that she said what he wanted to hear because it was a dramatic situation. People say the craziest things when they think someone is gonna die.. I feel Andy is truly happy with nick and I like the people they are with each other. She actually told us she felt MORE HERSELF THAN EVER and people (i.e. Oliver, Chloe, and Sam) were noticing her actually being happy and beaming with a glow.

At 2:22 it sounded like Sam was about to say "I love you too" but he was too weak and couldn't, so Andy simply kissed his forehead. Love my Sam & Andy
This was soo emotional and sweet. I have always been a one-couple shipper, but noow. At the end, if Andy will be with Sam, I will miss Nick, if with Nick, I will miss Sam. One thing I`m sure about - I will cry anyway.

So all u mccollins shippers r saying that they belong together cos Andy is a better person wen she is with nick, and she's not that same person with Sam. Umm I'm just gonna say the notebook... Ally and Noah were opposites and as Noah said its gonna take time for us to work on our relationship but he willing to try....cos that's a real relationship, it needs passion, friction and friendship not just friendship.
Sam and Andy r made for each other and they r working on themselves. Sam isn't a touchy feeling character and if Andy was constantly sunshine and rainbows her character would be boring.
All good relationships take work. Plus if Sam and Andy had no connection at all rookie blue wouldn't have been renewed for a 2nd or 3rd season before nick came along and became a potential love interest.
Usually people say truthful things when someone is about to die. She was speaking from her heart, so much emotion and that story was the icing on top. Do you know how wrong it would be if she said all those things to Sam. He survives, and then she said you know, that ambulance we were in? I didn't mean any of that, sry. Whoa!!! I would have lost all respect for her.
obviously she doesnt mean that the rest of her life isnt important. its an exaggeration, but he is a huge part of her story

Exactly. One more thing is that before Sam's getting shot he was ready to leave. He said his ideas and feelings about Andy to her. And what he also said "You deserve to be happy. I am leaving" something like that. Then what did Andy exactly do? She was just running behind of Sam. Because she still loves him and she cannot afford to lose him.
Season 1 Episode 02. Andy: did you scared? Sam: yeah. Did you? Andy: No. Because you were there!!! Just after the hand shake they almost gave the first kiss. Andy stopped Sam. It was perfect. In order to keep my mind fresh I'm watching again and again.
Around the same time Missy Peregrym also described the beautiful McCollins relationship in an interview "I trust him. I get along with him really great. I’ve never experienced a relationship like that with anyone in any of the seasons… There’s a foundation there that’s strong. It’s more equal. We respect each other. We call each other out. It’s healthy. And it’s not dramatic"
She is important Not ONLY for Nick. definitely she is important for Sam. Even in the beginning of the first season he said I dont want anything happen to you. In the third season he was with her while she was holding the bomb. He was ready to die with her.
If he really wanted to be selfless and let her be happy, he wouldn't have said a word about leaving (like Nick did) He would have just told Andy goodnight, and take care.
But he wanted to make her feel bad about enjoying her life and also force her to make a decision.
I’ll never forget in season one Sam told her point blank "You over analyze every little thing but when it comes to something that really matters you don’t think at all!"
And this scene is clearly indicative of that.
This was so emotional and beautiful, I just wish he had said it back. I suppose we can forgive him with the gunshot wound and all....although he pretty much said it back at the station about wanting her to be happy more than he wanted himself to be happy...
Lol! I think the writers succeeded in splitting the viewers as they wanted to do. Lol! I think she said this from her heart because she truly loves him. Even Missy said in may this year 'Sam and Andy have something that is pretty amazing'. They just need to find a way of coming together at the middle and they are already doing this. I know we will never agree, Alba, but I really do hope Nick finds that one person too. He is a god guy and I know Andy cares for him. For me, McSwarek forever.'

Andy and Nick aren't endgame yet, that's what the writers said. They aren't done yet, so no McSwarek will happen yet. I wish Nick and Gail would get back together. To me, they look so much better than Andy and Nick.

Amen, sister haha. That's exactly how I felt this entire season. I was like, clearly Sam has derailed his train and needs a little time to get back, but in the meantime, Nick is an okay substitute for Andy because I like the Andy/Nick dynamic. (Only as a short term thing, though) But Sam has always been my number one choice. There is just something deeper then the Nick/Andy relationship IMO. Hopefully the writers don't butcher season

I think mcnally characterizes a good person who helps those around her grow. Each relationship changes you BUT not always for the better. Personally I believe Nick is better for Andy. Realistically the guy I dated in high school is not gonna teach me the same things as the guy Ive Married.
With Nick andy has truly grown trusting OPEN and beautifully more than ever! I think she is falling for this soldier

What an awesome McSwarek scene. Sam is her story. He has been since episode 1, season 1. The connection has always been there. I like Nick but Sam is 'it' for Andy. Just watch Seasons 1 and 2 to see why
They all obviously care for one another and have risked there lives for each other at certain points in time.
At my point of view Collins is the most unselfish and understanding with Andy! I have my reasons why I think so, you have yours.

2/2 and wants her to be happy: that's true love........ Still he needs to communicate, but after being shot he'll realize that life's short! Being shot will do that to a person. I also believe that he was planning to say he loved her to in this scene, but at that moment he needed to be intubated......... Nick is a gerat, wonderful Guy, really sweet! But if you're heart wants someone else....... That's just life........
They shot Sam to remind Andy who is the most important man in her life. As you know she started a new relationship with Nick. She had fun. But she couldn't fall in love with him. They spent some good days together but now THE TABLE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN. We have to face with reality. She still loves Sam. He is her story. She never felt loved before as she said when Sam grabbed her after the nightmare. Do not blame Andy. This is heart this is love. We cannot consider it as mathematics.

During undercover with Nick Andy was playing his girlfriend kissing him every day, but she never thought of him as a man she could love because she loved Sam and missed Sam. When she returned to the division she wanted to be with Sam. Andy started the relations with Nick because she was in DESPAIR . Nick was a nice guy, a good friend - so why not to try? She had to keep going forward somehow, she needed somebody take care of her.
But I believe that you, as a person, can decide how a relationship changes you, for the good or for the bad. But note, I never said I believe every relationship CHANGES you, I said that it makes you learn something about yourself and life. And for Andy in particular, I believe she took something away from each relationship and grew. And I also don't believe that every relationship has to teach the exact same lesson as previous relationships. (Otherwise, aren't you just standing still?)
Missy supports both ships, thats nothing new. Its her job to keep both sides hopeful. She says that they both have strengths and weakness, that Andy is deeply in love with Sam and that she cares for Nick. I also remember her saying that she was 49/51 for Sam. Anyways, In general, its not up to her. It's up to the writers. So whatever happens next season, is going to happen. Both teams have very emotional supports, but its not up to the fans. Done. Finished.
Most RB fans will agree. Sam.. really unappealing in his treatment especially this season. Obviously in the process of learning to appreciate the people in his life while they are still in it.
As for Nick making Andy glow. It was pointed out by the Actual characters of the show ie Oliver Chloe when they were noticing how truly happy she was "you and nick cus im guessing like 3/4 weeks. I mean thats when I noticed the difference, because you have this like, gloww" -Chloe Price
Its the way Sam played mind games with McNally ignoring her existence to mean less than sht after he dumped her.. Blaming her for taking a major step-frwrd career opportunity because apparently shes supposed to do whatever he says whenever he says so ..The "way" he asked her to falsify evidence knowing her values and respect for her job "If you wont do it for her do it for me.."You did a good thing.." But mostly his over all arrogant attitude like hes high and mighty and better than everyone.
Sorry, but can you give me an example of Andy being submissive to Sam? Just purely out of curiosity. I believe that with every relationship, whether it be with your soul mate or not, you learn something about yourself and life. I think she grew as a person with Sam, Luke and Nick. I'm not hating on Nick, because
I respectfully disagree. Andy made it clear to Sam from the beginning of season 4 that she still loved him. If he left without saying goodbye, she would never have closure then. She would always wonder why or she would be hurt because she might think that he never respected her enough to even say 'goodbye'. I would be pissed if a guy did that to me. I think Sam didn't necessarily handle the break up of the relationship in the right way, but he definitely redeemed himself in this episode.

We don't even know wat will happen in s5. It's not definite that mccollins is over or that mcswarek is back on again, the growth that Andy made in this season was not shattered, and she still has more growing to do.
Trust the RB writers cos so far we have got 4 bloody good seasons out of them and its been renewed for a fifth, they can't please everyone all of the time. Just sit back and enjoy the RB ride.

Andy was really growing and learning to be open and happy ..I was looking forward to a STRONG FEMALE LEAD ..Now I feel like she will go back to submitting herself to do whatever sam says whenever he says so ..and be "THAT GIRL" the one she specifically didnt wanna be ....damn shame

Just bc many people prefer McCollins better doesn't automatically mean they haven't watched Rookie Blue from the beginning....Many people like myself have seen the rookies from day one! Many have fallen in love with the beautiful McCollins relationship and truly enjoy Missy and Peter together. Because it is not brooding nor over-dramatic nor boring nor suffocating nor self destructive but growing open and honest. Nothing is black and white
I too disagree with Alba. I just ask Mc Collins fans to watch S1 and S2 so they can see why us McSwarek fans see it the way we do. Andy was in character this year, at the start of S4, she clearly wasn't over Sam and neither was Sam. Even whilst UC with Nick, Andy never gave Nick a second glance romantically. She loves him as a friend, no more. I like Nick and I hope he finds someone who loves him too. Sam and Andy forever.
I disagree with Alba. Sam and Andy has this bond that just doesn't go away and no one called Sam a saint. Who wouldn't take pity on a person who got shot and is in the process of many losing their life. I mean, am I'm suppose to be happy that someone's life is in danger of not existing? I also don't think the inflated the romance between Sam and Andy because.... Well there was not romance between in almost the whole season. Anyways..... Go Sam and Andy!!!!

She is a kick ass police woman who grew up with an alcoholic father and an absent mother with who recently reappeared in her life, shes had a fiance who cheated on her, she worked undercover for months, has many great friends with whom shes had many adventures and her story is all about Sam? I think not. Uggg this is such a pet peeve of mine making a strong, dynamic, interesting female character all about a man."
First of all: glad Sam was conscious when Andy told him her story. Nick is a very good, sweet guy, but he knows it's over..... And give the guy some credit! You don't wanna be with somebody who clearly loves someone else? It's not healthy....... And in the long run it won't work! If that will be the storyline in S5 it will be non-believable...... Anyone who has respect for himself wouldn't want that........ Sam said it and you'd have to read between the lines: he loves her more than himself 1/2
I love Nick, but NOT with Andy! They always had more of a friend vibe to me, and lets face it he was a rebound guy! I really like him with Gail, and hate that the writers had to twist the story for a love triangle! Sam and Andy.... Amazing chemistry since epi 1!!! How can anyone not see that despite break ups, they will always end back up together! Kinda like Derek and Meredith on Greys Anatomy"
I do not like the person like Nick. All the time he is just praising or indulging he is not criticizing. Andy is a very interesting character and I really love her but that does not mean she is not doing any mistakes. However I am definitely a Sandy fan but also I want to see Nick as happy with another girl who really loves him.
I felt like I was watching a whole different Andy. It seemed like all the character development and growth she had done over the past 12 episodes was pointless because she’s just back to square one. One main reason for my dissatisfaction was that they had Sam get shot just so they could push Andy to his side.
And I dont think Andy is weak when she is with Sam, on the contrary she touched him and he is changing for her, they only way a girl do that is if she is strong...I love they brought the real Sam back and that he is trying to be more open, he was able to talk about his feelings for Andy to Oliver and even to be honest and tell Andy how he is feeling this ep.
Forcing two characters into intimacy, after building them up way too much.. I feel like the writers are trying to inflate the romanticism of mcswarek because they lack so much of everything else. Like all of a sudden sam is a saint and gets the pity vote..so this relationship gets forced down our throats again..
Nick was dating Gail and they were planning to get married if I'm not mistaken but he disappeared for two years and then again for 6 months. Not even informing her. Nick is not so perfect. Is there any guarantee he was not going to act in the same way with Andy?
I never thought I would ever say this, but I don't want McSwarek. Yeah, it seemed like it was meant to be, but then I saw the alternative life. Andy and Nick have the perfect bonding. Their relationship is beautiful, while McSwarek have gone so wrong so often. I really want McCollin.
Not as touched by this scene as I thougt I'd be. I actually really like Nick and would have loved to see more of their relationship. He was a refreshing change from Sam who's been such a jerk. I mean, geez, it took this whole crisis for him to tell Andy how he really feels.
Maybe she was sorry that she wasn't over Sam yet and that she had such an emotional reaction to Sam's shooting. Next season may be about Andy trying to decide who she wants to be with. Hopefully it will be Sam. I would be very dissapointed otherwise.
Imagine Nick was shot, not Sam- Andy would have never said those words to Nick ( that she loved him and he was her story). Because they have NO story. It was very interesting to watch them as friends and extremely boring to watch them as a couple.

I think Andy deserves respect NOT because of she had a relation with Nick. She is very successful in her job, she loves Sam with passion and she shows care all of her friends around her.
