- Launch Base Act 2 from Sonic & Knuckles Collection, remixed using Roland SC-88 hardware, played back via SC-55.
This remix comes by way of ChilliusVGM, I wanted to repair this track in response to seeing an upload by Bookman's Chamber of Stank of Carnival Night Act 1.

Sonic and Knuckles Collection if they based the midis off the 1103 prototype instead of an earlier prototype
Sound like a mix between Kirby and Sonic, well done!
Even a 7 year old could transcribe this song to midi better than they did in S&K Collection. How tf did they mess it up so bad?
Anyway, nice job in this faithful version
From the Origins version, we know that the S&K Collection versions are actually transcriptions of the demo tapes, and the songs were further tweaked in between the build that Origins records from and 1103, which is why some songs have extra intros and different chord progressions that can't be explained through bad transcription. There's missing a few notes and then there's changing the key of the song.
@@NUKELEDGE I thought it would be a matter of the Origins versions being what they transcribed the PC version from, especially with how the flute mixing in LBZ2 likely caused the transcriber to omit notes as they weren't easily heard.
@@NUKELEDGE Late reply but yeah, I was talking about the missing/wrong notes in my comment, not different keys and chord progressions. I heard about the demo tapes and further tweaking up to the 1103 prototype, interesting stuff!
@@NUKELEDGE are you sure it’s not bad midislaps from the pc collection
@@glitchedblood nuclear is a sonic music afficionado, if anyone would know, it's HIM
Any chance we could see remixes of the mj tracks using these synths?
What happened to the SC-88Pro version of this?
honestly I'd love for a version of the pc soundtrack but with sequenced data from the mega drive versions
